I stumbled across this black owned gem just yesterday! Me walks in ( owner) smiles and greet me! I order 3 salads and a lemonade! Berry explosion, Mediterranean and jerk, chicken salad. I’ve never had a strawberry salad so good and the raspberry dressing was made by Angels….. Her and her husband was so nice, welcoming, knowledgeable and just an overall vibe! I really appreciate how when I told her to remove things from my food she insisted that I tried it the original way if I wasn’t allergic. So I did and baby I loved everything.. 5:30 pm I arrived back at this restaurant now for dinner. Don’t judge me judge yo mama, now I orders vegan Philly, an original chicken and super chicken Philly. And one of every lemonade, And when I say I love love love their food and customer service. Babe…… Ok now you can judge me I just left there for the 3rd time in less than 24 hrs and today I orders 2 salads the berry explosion salad, Mediterranean salad and a vegetarian hoagie look they don’t disappoint it didn’t even seems as if anything was missing it gave me the satisfaction as if I was eating a hoagie with meat! I mean everything about them and their food is a whole vibes. I am now and forever will be a customer. I love place that has vegetarian options. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a clean, welcoming, friendly, delicious 🤤 place to eat! Ps. Ate to fast forgot to take pic of everything!!! 10/10*******

The delicious strawberry salad, & turkey hoagie were a hit. I appreciated the order taker who recognized that I was having difficulty with my leg and she immediately offered a chair to me. Afterwards, I was met with a knowledgeable and excited staff that was eager to take and make my order. My wait time was less than 15 minutes. Thank you Flippin Flavors!

Good vibes only is what I love and this place definitely demonstrates it..I was looking for a good salad to eat and came across this gem of a restaurant. I got the jerk chicken salad and it’s sooo good..the seasoning is on point, the salad fresh and to top it off with the homemade pineapple blueberry lemonade mmm good. The service was professional, pleasant and great vibes. Met the owners and had a great conversation. Definitely will be back!

I absolutely love this establishment. Everything is always fresh and made to order. Their jerk chicken salad is a BOMB. I literally order it at least once a week.

My friends and I love this place! Cozy, clean, organized, professional and friendly atmosphere. No cash accepted, bring cards, side street parking along front of the restaurant. What you see is literally what you get! Food looks exactly like the pictures. The flavors are bursting, the portions are on point. Great for carry out, sandwiches place in individual trays. No smashed sandwiches here! This is definitely a place to stop by with your family and friends. Did I mention it's black owned?

We got the super Philly steak and super Philly chicken. The Philly was okay, I can tell the ingredients are fresh and they are using their own seasoning. Customer service was really good. Big bright smile and warm welcome. Will definitely be back. Next time I will try the spicy hoagies I was very intrigued.

This was my first visit and definitely will NOT be my last. The young lady at the counter was very polite and pleasant. I ordered the Flippin Turkey Hoagy and the Hot and Spicy Flippin Turkey Hoagy. Both were VERY GOOD I've never eaten an entire Hoagy in one sitting, this one I did. Everything from the bread to the oil was so flavorful and fresh. This restaurant is clean, in a nice location,and nicely decorated. It's a great restaurant with great tasting food. Stop by, you won't be disappointed.

My cousin told me about this place and they have one or the best turkey hoagies in town. I went back today to taste the chicken philly which was equally tasty. I will definitely be going back again soon.

This is a great place to stop if your hungry and looking for some flavorful food. I had the chicken Philly and it was great everything on the sandwich compliments each other well. Definitely a must try if you’re in the area.

One of my favorite spots in town! Food is always fresh and you can taste the love. Id recommend my personal favorite their signature jerk, freshest picked greens, juicy chicken with a perfect balance of toppings.

Sandwich was made to order and the service was still quick I really like my Sandwich I will be going back to try everything on the menu. Very nice atmosphere and very courteous customer service. I was extremely pleased to see that this place is black owned and most of all prices were reasonable their not trying to rip you off 👍🏾👍🏾

This restaurant is so delicious. I recommend 10e0% try them but hurry. I had the vegan veggie Phillie steak 100% fabulous. The sandwich is large and big enough for two people. Atmosphere there was wonderful, staff was extremely friendly. It's worth giving a try you, will not be disappointed.

LISTEN! Saw this restaurant on TikTok and was determined to try it out. I ordered the Super Chicken Philly and a regular Turkey Hoagy. DID 👏🏾 NOT 👏🏾 DISAPPOINT 👏🏾! First bite of the Philly made me say Mmmmmm. I’m sending my whole family over here. Well-seasoned, quality ingredients, beautiful presentation. I’m very impressed and will be back!

I couldn’t even get my sandwich home. It was irresistible from the beginning. Soon as I got in my car I got cheesesteak for my fiancé and a super chicken Philly for myself. In my mind I’m thinking it smells so good let me look at my order.. and from there I took a bite and before you know it.. That was it.. really great sandwich I’m stuck between wanting to go back and getting the same sandwich I fell in love with or trying other stuff on the menu.. I’ll be back…Sooner rather than later

Just got the chicken super philly and can tell you, this place is phenomenal. We are from out of town but definitely will be coming here again. The jerk seasoning is incredibly flavorful but not hot at all (unless you ask for it to be) and creates a melt in your mouth experience.

This place is amazing, hands down top 10 philly spot in Chicago. I got the steak/chicken mix. The sandwich was juciy, the bread was slightly toasted, and packed with Flippin Flavor. I will definitely be back. I gave a 4 due to the hours of operation.

I love Flippin Flavors. The sandwiches are seasoned well and they give you a lot of meat. It's not like other sandwich places that give you more bread than meat. I go to Flippin Flavors faithfully and I have no problem driving to the city from the southwest burbs to get a few sandwiches for myself. The staff is very friendly and professional. I will continue to be faithful customer.

My fiancé and I really wanted a tasty salad so we decided to place an order for pickup because we have heard nothing but good reviews on this establishment. We ordered a jerk salad and a Cesar salad. In both salads the chicken was overly chewy. It legit looked and tasted a few days old. If we order again it won’t be on a Saturday afternoon, I’d rather have it with fresh ingredients.

I thank the Lord for the owner's heart and intentions. I can tell she care about the quality of her food and how her customers feel. She took time to learn people and what they may prefer and then she made sure to perfect her food the best way she can to the satisfaction of herself and others. I recommend this place. Kind workers. Clean food. Parking is okay if you plan on picking up they have a empty lot next to the building.

The owners went above and beyond for me and my friends to have lunch there! I called to say “It’s one of my friend’s birthday and she just wanted some quick lunch” Well! We had an Awesome time with the owners interacting with us as family. The music was so nice and it was warm inside, we all were taken care of with the 5 five star delight 😀 The Food was quite tasty! The food really has flavor ( seasoned well) the turkey sandwich is served cold, but the Philly cheese sandwich is warm with buttery bread! The drinks were a bit too sweet for me, almost reminding me of KoolAid, but for those who like very sweet drinkables your palate will be served well. Drop by and CHECK THEM OUT, you won’t be disappointed at all!

This place is a Gem on the Southside. Their Berry Explosion Salad and Philly Steaks are amazing. They have a small menu because they stick to what they do best. Everything is cooked fresh and made to order. Can't recommend them highly enough.

Yesterday was my first time visiting. Place was clean, the owner greeted me with a smile and I loved reading their story. In terms of food, I ordered the jerk salad and the hot and spicy turkey hoagie. Salad was phenomenal. The hoagie had too much oil and fell apart while eating. Tasted good but no one like wet bread. I highly recommend. I plan on going back until I try the entire menu.

I stopped in after visiting the bakery nearby. I had the super Philly sandwich with chicken. I asked if I could have the hot jerk chicken on it, and the owner was able to accommodate me at that time. The sandwich was delicious!!! It packs a lot of flavor! The ingredients and the bun was very fresh. The customer service was superb! I will definitely be back!

Ms Linda definitely didn't disappoint. Let's get into my tongue pallet had some many emotions while eating the (hot) Turkey Hoagie and the Jerk chicken salad. Oh and not to mention They made a fye lemon lime, Cucumber, Mint lemonade it's sooo good. Oh the candy coated pecan strawberry, feta cheese and delicious salad dress to go with is really good also.

Stopped in to check out the spot and wow, so much flavor in every bite! The staff was SO warm and friendly and in a truly Authentic way. My only problem is I didn't have more space, but that's my issue, not there's. ;) The Flippin Super Chicken Philly sandwich was unbelievable tender juicy and burst of wonderful flavors! Stop in ASAP!

I remembered the old Jimmy Jamms that was on site previously. Great to know a good Black-owned restaurant took up the mantle. Husband and I were impressed by the fresh quality of our chicken Phillies and the cleanliness of the cozy dining area. The menu items are so healthy, I could stay on my diet with several different menu choices. I'm glad we tried Flippin Flavors out for the first time.

This location was on a list of recommended black businesses to try for Juneteenth and they did not disappoint. We tried the hot turkey, regular turkey, and super chicken Philly. Food was good and very flavorful. Only downfall is no online ordering, which is ok but I wasn't comfortable giving my debit card info over the phone either. I will say the wait was only 15 min which isn't bad on a Saturday. We will be back (and not just for Juneteenth 😀).

I had the Veggie Philly and OMG, it was soooo good!! Not only was the food tasty, it was hot, fast and the customer service was excellent!!! Now one of my favorite spots! The Flippin’s had beautiful personalities. Can’t wait to go back!

Just saw a review with one star and I was utterly disgusted. This is one of thee best restaurants in Chicago. The food is excellent, very fresh and very consistent. Outstanding customer service and great atmosphere. Congratulation on Winning Best New Restaurant !!!!
