being one of the busiest airports in the world has some disadvantages. I think depending upon which terminal you are flying into or out of greatly determines your satisfaction with this place. I fly United often and those terminals have been upgraded with great food and beverage options along with multiple United club locations. And you always get to walk through the groovy neon people moving sidewalk. The newly added tram to the Rent-A-Car parking destinations lot is nice in the winter as you donโ€™t have to go outside to catch the train.

This airport has seen better days! The ceilings have water/mold stains. The concourses are cramped and crowded with bad lighting. It does have some good food options... There are quite a few bookstores as well as gift shops. It really needs a remodel or a new terminal built!

A good basic airport to help you get where youโ€™re going. Chicago O'Hare International Airport (ORD) is one of the busiest airports in the world, serving 84 million passengers in 2019. It covers an area of over 7,200 acres, making it one of the largest airports in the world in terms of land area. The airport has four main passenger terminals (Terminals 1, 2, 3, and 5), each with multiple concourses. Terminal 5 is primarily used for international flights. The facility has a wide range of amenities, including shops, restaurants, lounges, and business centers. It also has facilities for disabled passengers and families traveling with children. I recently flew through this airport to make a connecting flight. It has a few very pretty open spaces but, for the most part, it seems much more constrained than other locations like the Memphis airport. Most of the spaces at this location feature basic airport seats and linear paths for the gates. It seems fairly easier to find your way around with several informational display boards to help you know what flights are arriving and departing. Overall, I enjoyed the transit through this structure and think it is a good basic airport to help you get where youโ€™re going using air travel.

I traveled through Oโ€™Hare before but itโ€™s been a very long time. I forgot how aesthetically pleasing it is. Itโ€™s clean and well designed. There is art to appreciate. There are a plethora of shopping options for your convenience. Food options are plentiful as well. I enjoyed my experience today.

First time at O'Hare. great experience and very beautiful! As i have been in the terminal 3 only. It's super beautiful!! Great experience and staff are very helpful. If you are here for connection flight and you have a time. You can go out and come back again. And yes you have to do security check again. But its nice ๐Ÿ˜Š

This is a very nice airport. It is very clean. All the people were curtious It could be a little overwhelming to say the least. I liked flying with Southwest. They offered free movies I had a flight credit So I took a quick flight out to Chicago My stay was nice The airport also offered shuttles to get you to your hotel. That made for a great addition. I would like to come back here again Great Airport

As far as airports go, this one is decent. Despite having to go from one gate to another, a long walk is only about five minutes. There are signs that clearly mark pretty much everything. My flight was in the evening, and despite having tons of restaurants, most were closed. I did find decent food at the Chic Filet, even with their limited menu. The only bad thing I will say about this place is that it is in Chicago.

Exceptional! The air port is very very busy. The hallways are crowded and there seems to always be someone running to catch a flight. But guess what? Itโ€™s an international airport and their whole staff is doing there very best to allow you to have a good experience. Instead of saying itโ€™s crowded think of how many people they are helping. The flights are great. They have tons of different places to eat and shop. You have to remember to be patient and make the most of the fact that there are airports like this that can help lots of people. Five emojis that describe my experience areโ€ฆ โœˆ๏ธ๐Ÿ˜ƒ๐Ÿคฉ๐Ÿ›ซ๐Ÿ‘

There are many good food restaurants and stores. The toilets are clean, the staff are polite, very good signage inside the airport, easy communication, very fast through security, at every airport I saw signage and wheelchair access, clean toilets. All terminals 1, 2 and 3 are connected to each other and you can easily walk between them. The walk from Terminal 1 to Terminal 2 takes about 10 minutes, and from Terminal 1 to Terminal 3 can take up to 20 minutes if you're walking from the far gate to the far gate. They also have shuttle cars. They take people between the terminals. Just one thing: the traffic to get to the airport is very heavy, so I recommend leaving at least 2.30 hours before your flight to avoid any problems.

Over the years I have developed a love-hate relationship with Oโ€™Hare. The airport is massive and itโ€™s typically busy. You definitely want to allocate time if you have a connection. Even if you are connecting through the same airline, moving from one concourse to another one (yes, Iโ€™m talking about you American) can take up 15 minutes running! I have lost many flights with a short connection time. Staff is generally nice. Thereโ€™s plenty of restaurants available but not a lot of options if you have dietary restrictions such as vegan. If you are flying out of Oโ€™Hare, make sure you get there early enough. TSA is typically packed! If you fly often, TSA Pre-Check is a no-brainer. Getting to the airport is very easy. Explore CTAโ€™s blue line route and save yourself some money.

Not very updated but it had plenty of rest rooms and water filling stations next to each other. The food court of pretty decent with options like American, Chinese, Mexican and Italian. Only problem was none of the plug points are working in terminal 3. That was quite annoying. Staff is nice and helpful.

Staff: The staff is very helpful. The only issue I have here is how big the place is. Building: The building is spacious and very well taken care of. The bathrooms are clean. Concourse: They are spread out and can make for tough navigation when you have short layovers. Parking: plenty of parking. Star rating: Great airport for being sooo huge. I have no problem coming back here every chance I get. If this review helped, please hit the thumbs up and give me a follow.

Nice BIG airport. Lots of walking but thank goodness for rolling walkways. Takes awhile to get to the train or subway too at the airport walking. Lots to see! Love Chicago!! โค My playground in my earlier years...

Had a one hour layover at this airport and it is fairly easy to move around in with lots of space. The design of the concourse is beautiful with the arches and natural lighting coming from all sides. Itโ€™s a steampunk-like concourse design. Very efficient airport with some modern features. Itโ€™s also the base airport of United Airlines so this is the signature United experience. Super cool airport!

One of the most artistically beautiful airport that Iโ€™ve seen! I had a layover at the airport and had the chance to witness quite a lot of modern art on the ceilings and walls. Itโ€™s soo beautiful that they even have signs which warns you to watch your step because you might get distracted. They even have a big sized statue of a Dinosaur. I love when the airports have some sentiment and story behind it. Makes you more connected and enjoy your time at the airport. One of the terminals actually looks more like a train station than an airport terminal.

All in all a really great airport. You do have to hustle to catch your flight as the terminals are big. So definitely don't book a short layover. Very nice selection of restaurants. Would love more comfortable seating areas to sit during layover. But one of my favorite places to land

It's a beautiful airport and has lots of transit options. You can take the L from downtown Chicago all the way to the airport. There's lots of art on display and plenty of shops, so you won't be bored if you have a long layover. It seems to be a very busy airport at all times.

Itโ€™s our first time in this airport. Terminal 3 is huge. Extremely busy. Inspection was fast. Staff were courteous. Foodcourt offers a variety of meal choices. If youโ€™re a McDonalds fan, youโ€™ll be happy to pass through here. There are 2 chocolate shops I saw, and a popcorn shop too. Charging stations are available in the food court as well as in the gates. The seating in each gate is not enough for the big number of passengers. Close to boarding, youโ€™ll see passengers standing on the hallway. Some gates are dimly lighted; light bulbs need to be replaced.

O'Hare Airport's art collection adds a cultural touch to the travel experience. The vibrant sculptures, paintings, and installations throughout the terminals enhance the ambiance and provide a welcome break from the hustle and bustle. It's a pleasant surprise for art enthusiasts. In summary, O'Hare Airport offers a convenient gateway to Chicago and the world. While it boasts a vast array of amenities and dining choices, efficiency and weather-related delays can be issues to consider when planning your trip.

The main international gate of Chicago, the airport is working hard but efficient. The service is fast, it is recommended to arrive 2 hours before departure but if you want to be on the safe side take 3. Have a power outlets table for each gate food court, and other necessities.

It's a good airport. Plenty of food, shops, seating, and things to keep you occupied between flights. TSA is decent and lines move fairly quickly. Be sure to read signs y'all. By the way, if you're headed into the city, slip the taxi/ride share and take the L (blue line). My hotel is only a block away and I got to skip all the traffic drama.

I love O'Hara international Airport. I had lot of experiences flying from Chicago or to the Chicago and I was never disappointed. Recently I had 8 hours layover to the connecting flight and it was not too bad.

Great experience, had to transit between Terminals, wasn't a hassle. Easy to hop on and off through the train service. Good food options. The terminal shuttle runs every few mins, so no worries of missing a train shuttle. Bathrooms are clean, plenty of baby changing tables, easy to access at multiple locations at all terminals. Duty free shops have many options to shop for. Food courts have good amount of cuisine variety. Overall ORD transit was a good experience for me!

I like to fly into O'Hare airport from Milwaukee. O' Hare has flights to many destinations. It is easy to maneuver through, and I always allow myself enough time to reach other parts of the airport. It has some nice artwork, and it is a very clean airport. There are many shops here too. I highly recommend this airport.

What a great airport! This is my first visit to O'Hare and I'm impressed by how much natural light is let in by hundreds of windows, the cleanliness of the floors and the varied food options like fresh roasted nuts, popcorn, smoothies, etc. There's plenty of the standard stores as well like Hudson News, Starbucks, etc. The airport has partnered with local institutions to have some neat displays like a large dinosaur and benches that are hand crafted to celebrate famous musicians. Another nice touch is the amount of comfortable seats at each gate with plenty of access to plugs to recharge your devices. The only surprise was having to walk to my connecting flight instead of taking a tram or bus like I'm used to in the large airports. I don't mind a nice walk after sitting on an airplane, but if you're unable to walk long distances, I'd make sure to tell someone when you get off your plane and I'm sure they'll arrange transport services.

My first entry to the US was through O'Hair Airport coming from Jordan. Although very busy airport, the whole travel process is very quick and smooth. Very clean airport with plenty of food and cafe stations around all terminals, offering very delicious and tasty options. The staff are clearly kind and helpful. I also used this airport for a domestic flight on American Airlines, which was an interesting experience...

This is an amazing airport! Well organized. Great signage. Stores, restaurants and conveniences are well situated. Lots of restrooms. It's busy and we experienced an hour+ delay in our layover. That was frustrating. Clean too!

A very nice airport with many planes to fly on. This is a very large airport with lots of terminals, shuttles, buildings, and, especially, a lot of people most days. This can make the experience here a bit more stressful, but airports are always stressful. In the actual airport past security, there are shops everywhere and rarely will you be too far from some type of food to eat. Itโ€™s a place I enjoy but I donโ€™t rave about it.

Love visiting Chicago! Airways easy to get in and out of, I've never had a problem getting through security and people are always friendly and helpful if you start out the same way. It's ok, they're people too, you can say hi and ask how their day is going.

Busy international airport in the Chicago area. Good public transportation to and from down town Chicago: CTA blue line. Security line moves reasonably fast. Good food choices in terminals. Clean bathrooms.

It's a busy airport and flying international may require a transfer between terminals via bus. Fast & efficient. Going thru Terminal 5 today. It's worth noting that if your gate is beyond M20 services are limited but scheduled to improve soon(?) The photo shows construction of a couple new food outlets. It's a great place to watch planes though.

Lots of people traffic. If you are going to talk as a group, don't do it in the walkway. It gets congested. Other than that, it was pretty organized and informative. So long as you look at the signs, you shouldn't get lost. Plenty of places to eat, drink, and relax. The bathrooms are fairly clean (or at least when I looked at them).
