I ordered 1 chicken taco and 1 grilled fish taco. I asked the server if the sauce on the chicken was spicy. She was very rude and said, "How would I know? I don't eat it." The tacos were very tiny and the chicken and fish did not taste fresh. Plus, in my opinion, the chicken was too spicy. I regret going to this food stand in Chicago's Midway Airport.

Apparently nobody told the one employee working here that you shouldn’t put 2 pounds of onions on each taco. After scraping them off, the tacos were mostly fine, besides the “queso fresco” actually being just super low grade yellow cheese. The food is edible, but it’s not worth the price. Don’t waste your money here. This place doesn’t live up to the Big and Little’s name.

I have never seen service so slow. They only have 1 person working the front line, and thus far it has taken roughly 20 minutes for 5 people to get their food. I ordered 2 beef tacos and 2 chicken, the way they come. The chicken should have had onions, cilantro, queso, and lime. It had queso and lime. The food was less than stellar and the service even worse. I would not recommend this place if you're in a hurry.

The tacos were decent I ordered two of them, the carnitas and the Al Pastor, both were not correct one was supposed to have jalapeños and pineapple and neither was added and the other one cilantro onions and lime juice and the onions were forgotten. The staff was decent in the beginning, very slow and uninterested in their job but I got my food and was fine. I got the side of truffle fries, never having them before thinking they’d look like how the pictures online look however all they do is put salt on theirs it’s not worth the extra money from the normal fries. The fries were cold the tacos were cold but I was so hungry I sat down and ate my tacos and thought I’d take my fries back the lady rolled her eyes at me and said they were truffle fries and they are supposed to be like that then her and her friend were laughing at me as I walked away I’d pass by this place the food isn’t worth the trouble! I’m only giving it two stars because the tacos tasted okay even though they were cold and so were my fries.

I came here for breakfast before an early flight. I got an egg and beef taco and an egg and carnitas taco. They were alright, but not enough flavor given the cost. My biggest issue, however, was with the people working. I understand that working at a quick food location in an airport isn’t anybody’s dream job, but at least act like you don’t hate being there. Both workers brought negative vibes and were barely going through the motions.

1 new employee slowly putting the tacos together while the more experienced cashier sat and watched her struggle instead of helping for the benefit of the customers. Carnita tacos does NOT mean bland pork with no seasonings. No cilantro available to help with the flavor. Ahi tuna tacos are WAY overpriced for what you get, which is mainly a huge glop of chili mayo on a very small helping of tuna. Worst place I've eaten in a very long time.

Well design food court establishment. They share staff with Pork Chop located next door. Really consider any other eatery before ordering breakfast here. Although the food is well cooked, the assembly of the breakfast tacos makes eating it more unappetizing meal.

Never have I ever been so brazenly disrespected by food service employees. I am a waitress, I know sometimes it takes longer, but I watched them mess around, make my order “wrong” (they accidentally put fries in the box and decided this was reason to eat it in front of me), and then I had to wait again for it to be remade. Rude as all hell. Seriously in need of restaffing.

I’ve read lots of negative reviews. Honestly, rarely have I had good airport customer service. The customer service I had was probably better than most places. I had the Ahi Tuna wrap. Has a bit of a bite to it that I wasn’t expecting which might be worth advertising. However, it is delicious.

Please go to the actual restaurants in the city! Don’t let this outpost sour you on the Big & Little’s taco experience—this food is serviceable for an airport, but it’s a pale imitation of (and far more expensive than) what you can get at the full locations in the city. My meat on my tacos was very lukewarm; I doubt the internal temperature of the meat being served at the time was being kept up to code. There seems to be chronic issues with meal prep and assembly. When I was the only person in line, my order took over five minutes to get to because the single employee working the line took quite a while to make a single order for the two customers in front of me. Store operations also seem to have issues; 45 minutes to close (to be fair, on one of the busiest travel days of the year) they’re out of most things and are understaffed while scrambling to accommodate only three people waiting in line.

After reading some of the reviews here, seems they don't care about improving the customer experience. Service is atrocious. One thing to be kinda bad or slow but employees talking to their friends in line, asked me twice what I wanted because they were talking to someone (pretty sure they were the manager), and got my order wrong. I didn't ask to fix it seeing the amateur hour at play they'd probably screw that up. Good food so it is a shame. You'd think if you were in this business you'd at least try. Fire the manager(s), get competent leadership. If not possible that just means this comes from the top.

The service from Krystal was excellent. She was very polite and helpful and had a great sense of humor. The breakfast tacos were delicious.

They ran out of the Big Little burger. Its not about not having it but the rudeness and carefree attitude the lady had with me. No apology for the inconvenience of waiting....nothing. Learn to have a kind tone of voice. You are in customer service. She worked between 6-620pm on Oct 25th, 2023.

The service while I was there was really great. Nicole B was really handling it all and keeping up so well the breakfast rush. For the price and it being an airport, they were good portions. She was the only one up front (05/31/23) and kept the line moving without a problem and was so efficient despite the fact that they should have given her another person to help. Will definitely be back. Was very happy with the experience.

Not the worst tacos in Midway. These are the best possible tacos that can be made from the ingredients - which are on par with Chipotle. It was a corn tortilla. The tortilla was lukewarm. I assumed it to be gluten free? I tried the pork and the shredded beef. With fresh cilantro and onions it was dry but okay.

Worst customer service ever. No food during business hours. They didn't know when food was going to be ready. Rude responses

I'm not sure why this place got such horrible reviews. It's a breakfast taco and people act like it's supposed to be fine dining. I had an egg/beef taco asked for an extra tortilla and salsa on top. It was absolutely perfect for 7:30am protein pick me up. Yes, they had one woman running it but compared to Dunkin the wait was nothing. I would definitely eat here again.

The most disgusting hamburger I've eaten in a long time. I discarded the bun and toppings. Once I tasted the patties it was ALL discarded. Airway robbery at its finest.

This place has a large flat screen with burgers on their menu so I waited in line to order some. Get to the front of the line to order and the rude woman says "We ain't got no mo' burgers!" Why not turn off the monitor or put up a simple sign so customers aren't wasting their time. As we walked away, I overheard another worker say that she didn't even know they sold burgers. Nice that everyone cares so much...

For a food court location in the airport you can't beat it. The tacos were very good when you consider the location. Will this beat the local corner authentic place? No but you will be hard pressed to find better in an airport.

there is nothing redeeming about this airport restaurant. Poor customer service, food that was: bland, cold, and took longer than what is reasonable for a fast food place. Walk on by!

Awful awful awful. Unable to make a burger in half an hour. Had to leave to make my flight. Out $11 and hungry. Sheer incompetence and lackadaisical. Never again.

No effort put into making these tacos edible, let alone appetizing or enjoyable. Two stars because i haven't gotten sick yet, but it feels like a coin flip

Should have read the reviews before going here. Ordered the chips and guacamole, they were not inedible, but certainly not good. Not only were the chips cold, stale and almost chewy, but the guacamole was sitting in pre-made containers was frozen in the center and very unpleasant to eat.

Definitely tasty, employees seemed nice except for the lady I had, surprisingly small portions for the money. No regrets. Fork in photo for scale, that's not a novelty giant sized plastic fork
