We
had
an
hour
layover
in
Chicago.
This
McDonald’s
was
right
next
to
the
gate.
As
we
approach,
I
noticed
a
huge
crowd
waiting.
I
figured
we
had
an
hour,
how
long
could
it
be?
Moments
after
waiting
in
line,
short,
long
braided
employee
screaming
at
the
top
of
her
lungs
“get
your
receipts
out!
I
ain’t
going
to
serve
you
without
it!
six
fifty
nine
step
up!”
Wow.
Never
have
I
ever
witnessed
this
type
of
behavior
towards
customers
who
were
patiently,
respectfully,
and
quietly
waiting
for
their
food,
which
they
paid
for.
To
make
a
long
story
semi
short,
I
had
literally
10
minutes
to
board
my
flight.
They
were
picking
and
choosing
which
receipt
to
fill,
in
random
order.
My
number
was
764.
This
kid
from
Ireland
had
a
ticket
#
of
100
something.
He
waited
45
minutes!
His
Dad
had
to
yell
for
any
attention
to
get
his
son’s
order
filled.
After
50
mins,
I
finally
approached
the
counter.
I
politely
asked
if
she
would
please
fulfill
my
order
as
I
am
about
to
board
my
flight.
Reluctantly,
the
employee
handed
over
the
bag
and
drinks.
When
I
had
five
minutes
to
sit
down
while
the
flight
was
boarding,
I
opened
up
the
bag
only
to
find
I
was
one
burger
short
of
a
combo
meal.
Cold,
stale
and
poorly
made.
This
establishment
is
in
serious
need
of
quality
control
over
their
lack
of
management.
This
is
2023.
No
excuse
for
this
type
of
service.
