    Only self-service ordering with staff that were not helpful to people asking questions. You would hope that they would at least try to be courteous but we witnessed a number of customers be met initially with a “don’t talk to me use the kiosks” response and then only after a few moments curtly responding to whatever inquiry was asked of them. It wasn’t even that busy. The driest were very fresh but the spicy chicken burger was sad and stale tasting.

    This is one of the slowest McDonald's in the country. Lack of time of time perspective. No sense of urgency. Very low voices when calling orders it's so hard to hear them even though the area was super quiet today. There a huge rip off . I paid about $4 for a large fry to end up getting a small fry in a paper bag that said Large fry on it. It was maybe an ounce or two larger than a small fry. That's bait and switch. All American and non Americans expect to purchase the McDonald's we know. Not what you discreetly sell. And if I would of known the extreme minute size fry i wouldnt of bought it.

    Placed my order on the McDonals app, they were turbo fast and everything was great. Highly recommend stopping by while at OHare. Be sure to use the app!

    Came here for a cup of coffee. Super friendly service, and this is the basis of my 5 star rating. I was missing $0.25 for my coffee and the gentleman in the counter said “that’s fine”. Considering the pressure they are in and how busy this spot is, I thought that was very nice. All the best to you guys!

    Went at 4pm for an early dinner. Only one person in line. Had a #2 (quarter pounder with fries and a drink, a medium meal). I asked for no onion or pickle and I got exactly what I ordered which was great. Food was hot and fresh. However the airport McDonald's medium size of French fries is MUCH smaller than the average medium French fries at a McDonald's outside the airport. See pictures.

    Stop screaming at your customers! They even scream at each other in the kitchen! Horrible experience, no customer service, lack of structure and extremely rude. Shocking this is acceptable at an international airport. Order at your own risk.

    Where do I start, the line was super long, even after ordering with a human. 😳 YOU definitely don't get your money worth on the fries, almost 5 dollars for fries that should be a large, I will never ever again especially in Chicago! Let's talk about the service, Seems like they need a new lead or Supervisor she was short, not very friendly, with a cup of nonchalantness. When management doesn't display customer service so will their employees follow their lead. Needlessly to say thos is why I normally don't buy food at the airport. Poor customer service, prices,and processing time.

    A good option for a quick lunch. We ordered the double fillet o fish burgers. Just realized both the bun and fillet size have shrunk. There is no dine in option but you can find plenty of seating else where.

    Worst McDonald's ever!! Super slow service. at least 20 drinks at the pickup counter but no orders going out. Supervisor or manager was walking around like a chicken with his head cut off. Thankfully, the lady at the pickup started getting people on track. However, one of our burgers was very undercooked and bloody in the center. Asked for a new burger and thankfully the lady at the pick up counter got us a new one. Edit: Seems like the damage was done. My partner got sick from the few bites into the undercooked burger.

    Very quick service, just a bit run down is my only personal issue. One of the self-service kiosks ran out of paper so I was unable to get my order number without asking an employee. Otherwise it was great in terms of the quality of food and service!

    If I could give this place zero stars, I would. I fly out of this terminal very often, and this McDonald’s is always super busy. I completed my order at 7:16am this morning, and I did not get my food until 7:48am. It will literally take you over a half hour to get food in the morning here. Is this supposed to be fast food? I don’t think so.

    The absolute best McDonald's I have ever been to in my life. No one asked me to write this review and I am not friends with any workers, lol. The manager ran the whole show efficiently and very smooth. Upon my ordering this place was slammed with at least 30 customers. And although my food took a long time, the manager was apologetic and the food was the best McDonald's ever. I am so impressed. The manager, cooks, and all the workers deserve praise for a job well done. They were all nice, hard working, and efficient. I highly recommend. I can't imagine working in an airport can be the friendliest place to work, but they definitely make it better. I wish I could remember someone's name to give them a shout out, but I ate here on January 9th at 6:30am. Great work McDonald's employees!

    I know you shouldn't expect much from this kind of food. But sometimes you run out of time and have to settle for what you can get. But it was by far the worst experience I've ever had with McDonald's. In 37 states and 21 countries, I have never had such bad nuggets and fries. The smell and taste of what seemed to be three weeks old fat trying to double-kill already dead animals, and the bitter feeling in your mouth that not even the iced matcha from Starbucks could correct, is indescribable. In general, I would really advise anyone who is not looking for the worst taste experience to stay far away from this place ....

    We had an hour layover in Chicago. This McDonald’s was right next to the gate. As we approach, I noticed a huge crowd waiting. I figured we had an hour, how long could it be? Moments after waiting in line, short, long braided employee screaming at the top of her lungs “get your receipts out! I ain’t going to serve you without it! six fifty nine step up!” Wow. Never have I ever witnessed this type of behavior towards customers who were patiently, respectfully, and quietly waiting for their food, which they paid for. To make a long story semi short, I had literally 10 minutes to board my flight. They were picking and choosing which receipt to fill, in random order. My number was 764. This kid from Ireland had a ticket # of 100 something. He waited 45 minutes! His Dad had to yell for any attention to get his son’s order filled. After 50 mins, I finally approached the counter. I politely asked if she would please fulfill my order as I am about to board my flight. Reluctantly, the employee handed over the bag and drinks. When I had five minutes to sit down while the flight was boarding, I opened up the bag only to find I was one burger short of a combo meal. Cold, stale and poorly made. This establishment is in serious need of quality control over their lack of management. This is 2023. No excuse for this type of service.

    This was the absolute worst McDonald's experience I have ever had!! I asked for fresh cookies and the manager snatched the cookies from the girl at the front and go take them and heat them up!! I always order cookies so I know it doesn't take 20 seconds to bake fresh cookies. All of the workers were so rude and I've never been treated in such a rude manner the way they treated me. Instead of baking me fresh cookies they asked if I wanted a refund! If people are going to act in such a horrible manner then they don't need to be there!! If you don't like your job then go home!! It's nobody else fault that you hate where you work!!!! The McDonald’s close to C9!!! They don’t need to be working here.

    Waited for 30 minutes in a line of only 5 people. Workers ignored the line and stopped taking orders but kept the kiosks running. Customers stood confused as to what was happening, nothing was communicated and workers watched as we were not payed attention. Ended up leaving after waiting in the line because orders were not being taken. Worst McDonalds experience I have seen.

    Terrible experience all around. Flight got delayed over an hour so I walked over to this McDonald across from my boarding area with my family. Cashier was screaming about where we were supposed to stand…screamed at a women who was ordering on the touch screen to step away and then proceeded to turn it off… and then 30 minutes later were STILL waiting for our food and our flight has started to board so we told her and asked why everyone after me has already gotten their order…she said her hamburger patties were frozen. So she throws something in the bag and hands us our order. We had three double cheese burgers and a caramel latte. The latte tasted like dirty water and instead of 3 burgers, one was a crusty piece of chicken thrown onto a burnt bun with two pickles on it.

    Horrible place. Super slow. Cashiers don't take walk-up orders but leave lines open. Waited 10 minutes to order and yet no one made eye contact with me so I left empty handed. Out of basic vanilla coffee. Management is non existent. Shame on McDonald's. Will never eat here again and neither should you.

    Kiosk-only ordering. Employees were too busy speaking amongst each other to tend to customer questions. My order was missing an entire order of nuggets to top it off. While waiting I noticed that all employees had their phones out, some using them and having personal conversations out loud. Additionally, one employee was wearing Crocs while running the fryers. Service was the absolute worst, including yelling at customers to "listen to your damn numbers". What an experience.

    This five stars review is for the lady, who I think is the manager. She started calling out numbers at 5 in the morning and didnt stop until my flight departed at 10 am. She had to be loud because the space is so big and there were so many people ordering at McDonald's.

    Terribly under staffed. Comically small portions. Tough biscuit and solid hash brown. Felt like I was served the easy bake oven version of my meal. Incredibly incredibly long lines. I was immediately reminded of the news reports of McDonalds leaving Russia. Giving two stars because the workers work hard. Else, one star for food.

    11/26 & 5:50ish AM, the lady working the front didn’t want to assist me with a drink tray. She said “I can’t reach them” and then turned away so she didn’t have to try. Worst customer service I’ve had during my entire trip to Chicago. Poor work ethic and she was extremely rude. The last thing someone wants to deal with at 5:30am is someone in a customer service position with a nasty attitude.
