Why is any business using this place!? Yes the Unhelpful staff is actually polite, however, they are unable to troubleshoot minor problems. I usually am one that pays for kind service and will travel for that precious basic desire of humans. However, in this case, being polite is NOT enough. I arrived at the Ashland location in Chicago, IL at 8:26 a.m. it is now 10:26 a.m. and I have not been seen. I needed a drug screening/ mask fit test and some basic labs. I was told the entire process would be up to 3 hours because of how much was needed, and was assured that the wait time would not be sitting in the lobby. Now, I HAVE NEVER heard this insane amount of time quoted before and I frequently have these text done for work. I explained that I was fully ready to give my urine sample when I arrived. After an hour wait time I was even more so ready and no longer able to hold. I went back to the front desk explaining, thinking they would at minimum take my sample, yet, I was told "you're welcome to go whenever you like". Ma'am I've already waited an hour and if I go now it may be 3 days before I get another chance with your wait times. Still unable to give me a time that I would be seen. I explained I would go out, relieve my pain and come back. Well I did. I come back my name never moved off the list and I'm still waiting. With a wink and a blank stare the front desk associate says "well yeah that's why I said 3 hours".

The 31st & Ashland location is either super busy or poorly managed. It’s hard to determine what’s happening behind the scenes. I had to do 2 separate visits because they do not supply N95s and I forgot to bring one, so that’s my bad. My first visit included a physical, a drug test and a blood draw. I went in at 11a and didn’t leave until after 3. This was on a Tuesday. The total time I was actually serviced was only an hour. So then I returned that Friday after I got off of work for my fit test. I arrrived at 8:20a, took a few naps, then left. I got a phone call at maybe 12:30 for the clinic asking if I left. 😒 Uh YEA, like an hour ago! A fit test should take no longer than 15 m to complete. I could have easily been serviced. I watched so many people come and go…even some who were after me. Long story short. Go to another location. Maybe you will have better luck. Or go there and bring snacks and a phone charger. They need a system like the restaurants that can text you while you wait in the car or do other things your life requires. The staff is super friendly though.😬

I went here because it was on my way home from job orientation however I should have went with my first mind and went to downtown location. This location was horrible the receptionist @ the front desk her skin was gross I'm not trying to be offensive however her skin was it looked like she had been picking her face it was unacceptable for someone working in healthcare. There was a few people in the waiting area and they had people waiting just to be waiting I had to go to the bathroom at this point I had been holding my urine for a hour I just about peed on myself waiting for a simple drug test I would never ever go there.

Staff was great here on 31st Ashland everyone was friendly from both ladies at the front desk and the ladies in the back. Great atmosphere everyone was all smiles and welcoming. They answered questions promptly and made sure you understood everything. I came in for drug test for a job. The wait wasn't long even though it was at least 10 people waiting before me, it was last week wednesday and it was about 1:30 to 2pm. I was surprised I was in and out

For the love of god, hire more people, friendly and empathetic people at that. All the staff at this place makes going to the doctor feel like a dmv experience. I think the dmv is faster when it comes to processing your paperwork and services though. Make sure to clear your schedule before you visit this place, hours of waiting are in the works!

I do not know why they call it “urgent care”because there’s nothing urgent about it. I was at this location for six hours! The staff was very professional, but my time there was agonizing. I was very appreciative of my doctor and her attention to explaining my care, she was very thorough.

Was given an appointment time of 10am for a simple urine collection for drug screen and did not get taken back until 12:20PM. I don't even wait that long when I have been a walk in at emergency rooms before and Concerta is the one who told me that time would be best! If you're overbooked, just have me come in at a different time. Schedule things better, manage your time better, stop wasting dozens of people's times daily.

This review is for the location at 3145 S. Ashland Ave. The place is decent looking. My biggest issue was the place being under staffed. One receptionist for so many people. Was there for a physical required for work, it took me hours in order to be able to see the physician but once I was in I left rather quickly. The lady from the reception was not in the best mood but in a way I do understand that there were so many people for her to take care of.

This place will have you sitting for a full shift. I went for a physical and did not get called for 6hrs. It is a 30-45 minute process if that long once you are actually called. If you can go to another facility, I would.

My experience here was good. The location was great. Plenty of parking which is always a plus. The staff was attentive and welcoming. My wait time was minimal and the tech that performed my service was friendly. I would utilize this location again.

Went in for a pre-job employment test. The place was well kept. Staff was friendly. Reason for the low rating, there seemed to be tons of staff walking in but it took a hour and a half almost to complete the screening. The person taking the test was friendly, knowledgeable, and apologized for the wait. Other than that I would say it would be a good spot for any medical needs that weren't urgent.

The MA that attended me today seamed nice when I got my vaccination administered I then received a illegible copy of my vax record when I politely asked her to rewrite my form she gave me worse form with scratch out making the form look like a mess when I asked to have the lot number written on the top page so my employer can see she snatched the form outta my hand accompanied by a very unprofessional outburst! The manager came out after hearing her commotion I explained I meant no harm or problems just needed a simple legable form. This employee was very unprofessional in her behavior I hope they can offer her retraining on customer service no one deserves to be submitted to this kind of behavior. Speaking for myself in the medical field not impressed..

The service I received for my grandson was great , the staff were professional n made sure my 6yr old was comfortable, I appreciate Their patience with him . The only issue would probably be the long waiting the lobby for our appointment, with two little children it was exhausting, the office was clean n roomy, it was just the waiting.........

Everyone was very nice.. but their wait times for an urgent care is outrageous. People for a simple drug test were being told 3-5 hours. Kind of crazy. My biggest issue is the front staff not being educated on who can and can’t be seen in some circumstances. I was one of those. I was advised by my dr to go to an Urgent care… only to be turned away. I do understand her reasoning for it. But it is Very upsetting as I could have waited my almost 3 hours in an ER instead, if the front staff was educated on these things.. I really hope the physician informed them, so no one can have the same issue as me! Also, the waiting area smells like urine.

I would strongly advise anyone who is not ill and only need to complete drug testing or other hiring tasks to avoid this location at all costs. I waited over 2 hours, watched others be taken back before me. When I checked in, they told me an hour to an hour and a half. When I asked at the 2 hour mark what was going on, I was informed I had another person in front of me for the same thing. Two minutes later they called a person who checked in after me. Hoping this can save people from wasting time.

Staff was very friendly and efficient. They all were working very hard to get everyone processed. However, it was obvious that they were not staffed adequately for patient volume, which is a poor reflection on upper management. As a result, wait times were terribly increased and unnecessary. It shouldn’t take a 2- hour wait for an employee urine drug test and test for color blindness. Please treat your employees and patients better Concentra by staffing your facilities appropriately.

Everyone is very professional and helpful. Had no problem wit the care or customer service. Only issue was I had to wait 6hrs to be seen! Along wit other ppl that had to wait jus as long. That was inexcusable. Only 1 doctor came to work. So obviously they need more help because their were plenty of receptionists but only 1 doctor seeing patients.

Despite the reviews, I had a great experience. I arrived in the morning to get a drug and TB test. I was called within 30 mins after my arrival and the nurse took care of me immediately after that. I could've left within one hour but I didn't drink enough water earlier so I had to drink from the water fountain and wait. Tip: If you are doing a drug test, you need urine, bring a bottle of water to make sure you have enough for the test! The staff, in person, was really nice. I called beforehand and the person who answered the phone was also nice. Thanks! I appreciate the great customer service. Highly recommend.

I first walked in and was talked to a bit rudely by the front desk. I was then told there was gonna be a two hour waiting period. The waiting room does provide water and there is a public bathroom available and once my name was called 2 1/2 hours later I was out within 15 minutes or so. The clinic was pretty clean so besides being given the cold shoulder a bit and the wait time of course my experience wasn’t too bad.

The wait time is ridiculous. The staff is as nice as possibly can be, but the doctor attitude is by far the worse. The treatment I received left me to feel like I was not a person and more like an object that needed more money in my pockets. Definitely avoiding this location.

Customer service is good, the lady are very professional. My problem is I have a 2:00p.m appointment with Doctor and you're waiting for 2 hours in cold waiting room. Need to be better service/system. This is not a free service, our company/jobs pay for the service. This makes no sense to me. Don't over book yourself and inconvenience your patients.

Because they were short staffed, I waited for almost two hours to get a screening done that took about five minutes. Unfortunate that the wait was so long. The staff was nice and kind. There were many plastic cups & outside beverages on the tables left from throughout the day, I took it upon myself to throw some of these things out. Overall a fine experience but room for improvement.

Tonya was an excellent nurse. She made my blood work a piece of cake! I usually abhor needle sticks. This was the first time I was ever comfortable and almost pain free! Her attitude and patience made a great difference! Thanks Concentra!

Right inside the strip mall on 31st ashland next to ace hardware, GNC and fitness center staff was nice wait was a little long but not terribly bad and its to be expected at this time anyway so whatever all in all good experience.

I was very concerned with the lengthy wait. People were in the building waiting to get seen for hours. While other people just walk right in and get seen. I was waiting to be seen for 4 whole hours and no one had even asked my name or anything! Customer service has been unsatisfactory. Others have seen it and been experiencing it as well. Something needs to be done about the rude customer service and extremely lengthy wait time because this is ridiculous! I was in the building for 6 hours with no food or anything to drink. Waiting for my name to be called. It's outrageous!

Latoya was amazing, very kind hearted person. I had some issues with some information on my paperwork and she did her best to help me and got everything situated for me. I was really having a bad week and the miscommunications with the job I had to do my physical for and it’s been very upsetting but she’s been a blessing to me today with being so kind and down to earth. Definitely made my day better.

Everything started with me not having access to a printer, so I wasn’t sure if I’d be able to get my pre-employment drug test done. I called and was told that I could just show them the email with the code that the employer sent out. So that saved me a lot of trouble. Then when I got there everyone was friendly. We had a few computer issues, but we figured it out quickly. In the end everything worked out, the process was fast and easy.

I had a very pleasant experience at this Concentra location when I visited for a pre-employment drug screen! This clinic was clean, the wait was reasonable (30 minutes, if that), and the staff was courteous and professional. Every step of the process was clearly communicated and easy to understand. I visited around 4pm, but I chose this clinic because they stay open late which I found extremely convenient. I hope this review was helpful and I pray that you, too, will have a great experience here!

First time at this location. The technicians didn’t know how to change the batteries in the breathalyzer for my employment related screening. And the other locations have always shown me the zero’d out machine before I did the test, but didn’t this time. Everything went fine and the staff were all very very nice and apologetic for the delay, but having that run a bit more smoothly would be very helpful for on duty first responders.

I was there to perform a DOT physical and drug screen.. appoint was at 9. Got there 15 min early wasn’t seen until 10 something after I finished the physical informed them I had to call my daughter because she was getting out of school early. I was told I could not leave premises. Stepped outside to charge my phone. As I entered back inside facilities I was told I could not take my drug screen..

I only come there when I'm push to take my DOT physical. They are quick and curious with there service. They are close to home where I don't have to go downtown to other clinics to have a physical.

Employees are kind and friendly. Services once called occur fast. However, expect to wait longer than you'd think. Been here several times for pre employment screening and I have always had to wait at least an hour, even with pre-registration.

When I entered in the door it was great fast service Seeing a doctor was so extremely easy and the experience was breathtaking I would recommend this location to anyone 31th Ashland.

I liked that I wasn't waiting for a long time since I arrived early however I think that the front desk people could've been more attentive and friendlier. I didn't like that after I was done filling out a form I was just standing there not knowing if I was going to be assisted since no one was addressing me letting me know someone will be with me. I also didn't get the privacy practice sheet and had to ask for it

Very professional and a nice and clean facility. My wait time was under 30 minutes. I was in and out. I completed a drug screening as well as a TB test.

The place was packed. Not enough chairs for people to sit down. It was like a standing room only concert. When my name was called some tests were performed. Then I was told to go back to the waiting area until they had a room available for me. This place is super busy. Best bet is to go somewhere else.

I was injured while in my job and the set medic needed someplace that was open at the time of him assessing me and chose Concentra. I am definitely glad I did. Turned out my fall on a severely inadequately salted walkway was a broken humerus bone. Dr. Angie took care of me on my initial visit and was able to xray my arm as they had the equipment there. Then she booked an appointment with an orthopedist Dr Westin for the next day. Both doctors were amazing and the fact that after 30 or so hours of my injury it was em assessed and a healing schedule was in place was amazing. The set medic asked what I thought of my experience here and I told him. Looks like if anyone gets injured on our set we will be sending them here. Highly recommend this urgent care facility!

I went up there to get a tb test done and a physical start my employment the first day I went up there I was told no doctors were there to do my test so I came back another still couldn’t get my test done cuz they took 2 hours to call me but I had to pick my child up from school then the third time they did my tb test and told me I didn’t need a physical just a tb test I told them my employer said both yet they insisted just the tb test so I take the test and leave just to get a call from my employer that I do need a physical so I go back up there. They call me in the back take my vitals and had me waiting 2 hrs and 30 minutes so again I left the wait time is horrible especially for people on public transportation

Going there was a total waste of time. I have a rash on my hands. My skin is peeling and I have small bumps, my hands are extremely itchy and the skin is cracking. The doctor came in for about two minutes and told me that it was a rash which I already knew and that I should go see my regular doctor. She gave me nothing just recommended I use hydrocortisone for the itchiness which I was already using since I showed her the container/bottle. I was unable to get a quick appointment for my fingers with my regular doctor so I assumed that this place would have someone who could help me right away but like I said it was just a waste of time I received no help whatsoever.

Desk associate did not acknowledge me standing in line but instead began texting on her phone until informed by a coworker that someone was waiting. She also would not take a second to view my e-passport screenshot on my phone and told me I had to email it instead. She could not see the letters and numbers clearly although the email was clear according to her coworker. The very next guest who walked in was able to show her e-passport screenshot directly from her phone while the same attendant viewed and wrote it down by hand. Helpful to some but not everyone.

I was impressed with this place. The lady at the front desk was very warm. Wish I’d of gotten her name. All in all I waited 20 minutes. It was a fast and seamless process. Professional and efficient. I thought for sure it would be a hot mess, but I was wrong.

I went to have a drug and TB test. On 1st glance I started to turn around and leave because the place was packed. Because of the professionalism I was in an out in less than no time. There was a little wait but nothing like I had expected. They stay open til 10pm. I would recommend going after 6 pm . I had to go to get TB test checked after 6 pm two days later and there were about 3 people in there. I was out in 15 minutes. I highly recommend this location. 31st and Ashland.

I inadvertently marked my visit as a 9 but should be 1. The doctor I saw wasn't a Orthopedic specialists and his demeanor toward my injury was unacceptable. I left there feeling that he really didn't care about my injury or my pain associated with the injury. He acted as if I was taking up to much of his time. I mean he was the doctor the so called specialist that I was relying on for care. The best thing he did was to end visit so I could go see someone who has my best health interests in mind.

I was skeptical because I kept reading the reviews that these clinics take forever to perform drug tests. However, I was in an out, in less than 40-50 minutes; from check-in, waiting, doing the test and leaving. The medical assistant was super nice and helpful!
