Consistently the worst customer service of any Nordstrom Rack I have ever been to. This store always rejects returns even when they are within the return periods. I had to show the manager the return policy on their website....for them to take back a item, not used with tags and online receipt

Some of my dresses are already tight to me. So, I decided to shop for some dresses and this is when I have discovered this boutique. I came across some adorable dresses that I believe would look good on me in this shop. And one of their staff members assisted me out. She is very kind and a great help. Additionally, I went to try on some of their heels. And they offer a wide selection of heels that are so elegant and classy. I don't know what to get because I like almost everything. In the end, I was able to purchase fewer than five dresses and two pairs of heels. And I am so excited to wear it all. I am so happy going home because of what I've bought. Very satisfied customer. Highly recommended! Next time I come back here, I will also bring my sister who loves shopping so much. She will definitely enjoy shopping here.

The store is a mess, there is no one to assist you with any queries, the discounts are nothing special and we don't really find really nice clothes or accessories. If you have time on your trip to despise it by checking worn-out clothes, this is the place you should visit.

This is one of 2 Nordstrom rack locations in the city center. This one has more shoes. This one is not my favorite but if you are looking for some good deals & are shopping state street it’s worth a stop. I give this place a 4.5⭐️ Jerry gives this place a 4.5⭐️

The kids and I went here and we each bought an outfit, the total came to around $300, and we're very happy with the quality of clothing. The store was a bit disorganized and a little messy. Other than that, it was a good shopping experience. The shoe selection was very extensive, and they have womens shoes in larger sizes like 12 and 13.

Love this store!! I like to check Nordstrom's Rack first, due to their great prices, before I go to other stores. I found 2 items on my list!

Store: 274 REG: 4902 I called all of Chicago looking for the Dark Cocoa steven madden leather pants and Manny was the ONLY store associate out of all the stores I called that looked for those pants in an XL. He was SO amazing and kind and I asked him to PLEASE save them from me as I was coming from Rosemont out to the city so it would take me a long time. Manny is really wonderful and so helpful and he is an excellent employee who I think should be given a raise to. Even though he couldn't find them at first, he checked AGAIN and got back to me to tell me he had found the last pair and would hang them at the register for me. What a complete angel. I want him to get a raise, I want him to get praise, I want someone from cooperate to tell him how wonderful, amazing, kind and awesome he is. So badly I wanted to thank him in person at the store but he was making his rounds through the store and it was about 7:30 while we were at check out. On top of that De'Andre J. also deserves your praise as well. He is delightful and funny, very charming and charismatic. He made me and my friend laugh as we were checking out and he was making conversation with us as if we were just two strangers sitting next to each other on the train enjoying each others presence and vibes. You make sure you know how great he is too. He is a hard worker, and as someone who worked retail when I was younger I know not everyday is an easy day but he was delightful with everyone. MAKE SURE TO GIVE HIM A RAISE AS WELL ! He even told us what Manny looked like so that we could thank Manny but I was honestly so tired from driving and running around I told him I would write them both reviews about how much they made my day. Make sure to take care of Manny and Andre, make sure to show them as much respect and compassion as they do for your customers. Make sure they feel appreciated and do something so that they know they are. These are good ones, and if you like having good people represent your company you will do absolutely anything to make them feel happy to be there. Good moral is important, if you help keep them happy, you will have happy customers who will definitely be coming back. Anyone that comes to this store, please give them respect and appreciation. I' m too poor for this store. They have great brands and products, but even with the discount I can't afford them. At the end is just like Marshall, Ross or TJMaxx but more expensive.

I've been to other Nordstrom Rack stores and the price reductions were not very good 😕. That explains why there were so many things on the racks.

An excellent shopping experience with a giant selection of shoes. My partner and I snagged some store brand pleather boots for $50, Merrill hiking shoes for $50, and a pair of refurbished Docs for $40! There's also a nice selection of cosmetics and nail polish. Staff are friendly and helpful, and the store is clean and nicely spaced out.

Lately not very well stocked, I must say. Long gone are the times when one can find a really good designer's item for an awesome price. Is the global supply chain to blame?

Lots of great deals. It’s definitely worth a stop if you want designer items but at a savings. There really are some great gems.

This is one of my first place to shop both in person and online. Merchandise is excellent. Love the clearance online merchandise. Never had to return anything. The staff in the store are friendly and cooperative and courteous.

Blazing hot upstairs. Be prepared. So many people were commenting/complaining about it. It became uncomfortable to continue shopping. But, otherwise...it was a Nordstrom Rack. I went in because I saw a sparkly hat I wanted and come out less $75 with the hat and 2 pairs of shoes for work 🤦🏾‍♀️🤷🏾‍♀️

Johnny in customer service helped me pick out a great suit. A1 work and very personable. Their tailor is also very respectable.

Store had good selection but 2 employees were so rude. A guy politely went up and asked for help on shoes and she sighed so loud that he even said sorry.. another woman at the register greets everyone with “you got a number with us?” Instead of hi. (I started with Hi and no response)

I ordered a leather purse online and went to pick it up. It was damaged. I immediately returned it while in the store, got a paper receipt, and requested an email receipt. Did not receive the email, I called nordstrom Rack customer service to be told they do not show the item returned. Thank goodness i had the returned paper receipt. Now it's under investigation. I have to wait additional time for the money to post back to my credit card.

My friend called a bunch of NordstromRack stores looking for the Steven Madden Dark Espresso in an XL. I tried on a L at the Fashion Outlets because my friend bought her M sized pair there about a year ago and I lovvveeed the way they looked and wanted a pair. However they were too snug on me so I just needed to size up one. There was no XL size option online for Dark Espresso or Black so I was really bummed. That's when my friend decided to call every NordStromrack around the Chicago suburban area to check. We first got a NordStromRack associate that told us there was ONE xl left at old ordchard, woodfield, chicago ave, and state st. We called all those places when all that was left was state st. Manny answered the phone, sadly could not find it, but then he said WAIT!!! Hold on a second! Let me look in a place, please hold. So we waited! and he was the only associate from the places that took his time looking for this pair because HE FOUND IT! We were on speaker on the phone and gasped in excitement and my friend told him we were on our way and please put it on hold for us as we were on our way. He was so helpful, he said if this is the only item you want, come straight to the register and it will be waiting for you, if not feel free to shop around first and then come to the register when we were ready. We thanked Manny and told him he was the best. I decided to look around for some MIA Mary Janes as this NSR was way more organized than the other one we've been to. I picked out some socks as well for my purchase. My friend got another steven madden leather pair of pants but in black and we headed to the check out. The line went by smoothly and Andre helped out out. Even though his pin said he was new, he was very knowledgeable and funny. I work at starbucks as a Shift Manager so I know how important the connection between employee and customer is and a connection was made. He even made us feel comfortable by politely asking the customers who were trying to push against us during our check out to please give us some space. We should respect everyone and at times that means reminding people to be considerate of their surrounds. Thank you Andre for thinking about me and my friend and the space we occupied. As a manager myself, I would have done the same thing. Both of these boys have the potential to go further and deserve the chance to do so. The company needs to acknowledge when their employees have helped out their customers as it will keep them motivated. Being a manager has taught me a lot that TLC is what my team needs to do their best, and that is why I have high performance scores for my group. Please take this into consideration with Andre and Manny. They are wonderful workers and people I have had the pleasure of meeting. To Manny, thank you for making my day <3 and Andre thank you for being so sweet. For anyone coming to this Nordstrom Rack, I recommend asking for these two when it comes to help, but please be patient and kind to them as downtown Chicago is very busy, they are very kind and helpful but please treat them with the respect you want to be treated with.

Very unprofessional, came in for a pair of Cole Haan gabbie pumps asked to see where I might find them and I was shoo’d off So to speak by a Russian staff member in the Shoe department. Better off shopping online or going to the regular Nordstrom.

I will give them 1 star because the lady at counter beside mine was rude and made taunting Remarks because I wasn’t able to remember my social security number . They need to be more sensitive towards customers

It's the best. I purchased some Tommy Hilfiger hi top gym shoes for 50.00 and got compliments from my co-workers. I had to get out of the store before I over spend. Nice designer clothing and shoes for a fraction of the price.

The store is great. Quality merchandise and reasonable priced. I was able to pick up a pair of Ray Ban sunglasses. They have a variety of designers.

I decided to come to this place to look for some new things to buy. I park my car in their free access parking lot. Sometimes they have no vacant parking spaces if it is holidays or weekends due to a lot of customers. When I entered this place I could see that their place was spacious and their flooring was clean. I enter one of the stores and I can see that they have a great selection where it has a women selection and men selection. I went to the men's selection and looked for a polo shirt to buy. I bought a plain gray and white polo. After that I went to the shoe area. I want to buy leather shoes that are perfect for my office suit. Since I have a black leather shoes I chose brown leather. It's a little bit expensive since it's leather. I'm so satisfied with the things that I purchased. So take a look at this place and you can buy anything you need.

Don't go looking for clearance items, particularly men's shoes because they're few and far between. Shoes are not well organized, mixed up sizes and pricing.

This place has a great section. The only problem for me is I don't like people looking at me while I'm shopping. Everytime I come into every section there are staff looking at me whatever I'm doing and I feel so annoyed. They do not give me space or time. It feels like they think that I might steal something but never. I didn't tell them because it was rude. So I have no choice. I just grabbed sandals and it's good that the sandals in the display were my size so I grabbed them. I immediately went to the counter and paid for it. There are two customers in front of me so I wait for about a minute before it's my turn. And Finally it's my turn and I paid for it.

Bought some shoes, had them for over a year....almost two years and was able to return them. *disclaimer* Of course I didn't wear them. I was although appreciative of Nordstrom's (not the Rack) return policy. And I'm sorry I can't remember the associate's name that help me, but her customer service was first class!

This store is organized and Clean. I had a great experience each time. The cashiers were friendly and fitting rooms were also clean.

Cashiers should mind their business and pay attention to who they're checking out. Tell me why, as I am trying to purchase my Items, the whole time the cashier isn't even paying attention or listening to what I have to say because she's so worried about where her coworker is. Something about her taking too long of a 15-minute break. Girl, mind your business and do YOUR job right. No "how did you find everything?" Or "have a nice day." Like, do you guys not have managers to be handling these things that you have to have a cashier questioning someone about how long their 15-minute break was? PIsss.
