Last month we discovered this vegan and gluten free place. They have salads, sushi, desserts, and fresh juice that you can pick up from the shelves. They have a good variety to pick from and everything tastes great. Definitely it is a must try place.

This place is so cool and yes: everything in the restaurant is raw vegan. I eat majority plant-based meals and have been fascinated by the prospect of only eating uncooked foods. The idea of raw veganism is super daunting to me but this place makes it so attainable and delicious. The staff is also very friendly and knowledgeable about their menu. We shared one of the pasta bowls and the sushi (pictured). Both were so interesting and delicious. The other bowl pictured is one of the salads which looked delicious but I didn’t try! I particularly loved the sushi— tasted exactly like spicy tuna and managed to pack extra veggies in. If you’ve been eyeing it, try it! I would trek all the way to west loop to eat here.

Pretty good service and it looks nice inside but $30 for two smoothies (with tip included) is a little outrageous. The smoothies are OK. Taste more of banana, then the other ingredients. Taste like a six dollar smoothie if I wasn’t in a rush I would’ve gone back and asked for it to be made again as it didn’t taste right. Ended up throwing both in the trash.

Everything was fresh and delicious!!! Really enjoyed the kelp noodles and sushi. The Snickers cake cup was divine. Beautiful treat after our meal. We also had the blue spirulina water and that tasted great! Would definitely return when in the area 💜 Also, the owner was an absolute gem. She was so kind and welcoming as soon as I walked in the door. Extremely personable and made me feel like I was family.

We found this place right before we left Chicago. Fresh and quality ingredients, tasty and healthy food. We got a few salads to take with us for our 5 hours drive home. So nice to enjoy a healthy lunch instead of grabbing fast food:). The staff we met at the store was so patient and friendly. Looking forward to trying their acai bowl and smoothie when we're back in the area.

uncooked is a great new spot in the West Loop! We went on a Saturday morning and I got a healthy powerful shake with a espresso shot add on. My sister got the beauty smoothie and she loved it! The staff was kind and friendly. We will be back soon.

Absolutely amazing raw vegan restaurant! We loved all the different salads we got, including the falafel and hummus salads. The snickers desert cup, chocolate donut, and CBD refresher were all delicious. The employees were very friendly and well informed about raw vegan food, the service was quick as well. It may be a little expensive, but it’s totally worth it! Everything was tasty and nutritious:)

The owner was super sweet. We had the beauty boost and the powerhouse and both were delicious. We grabbed one of their to-go bowls, which was also very good. Definitely will be back to try other smoothies.

Sundrip on Carpenter St. had the BEST acai bowl I've ever had. It wasn't thin, or bitter... it was rich, thick and sexy 😍 sooo good! The "donut" was ok (but miss-able), the oatmilk latte was excellent, and the service was incredible... so friendly and caring! I got a pistachio salad to go (update, it was great, delicious creamy dressing, and the chez really tasted of pistachio - yes, that is the real color) and a carrot "cake" that I froze and haven't had yet... so excited!! There are a lot of smoothie bowl joints out there, but I strongly recommend this one.

Truly life giving foods!! Delicious, fresh, and gives you the energy you need for the day. Perfectly filling. The people working there made the experience wonderful as well. However, no bathrooms so make sure to prepare for that :-)

Wow okay so let me start with the iced rose matcha I had. The rose flavoring is so natural and fragrant and light and blends perfectly with the matcha. I had it with macadamia nut milk, great combination. The blueberry overnight oats were delicately sweet and very pretty to look at. The watermelon juice was perfect too. My friend had the turmeric drink with ginger with helped open her sinuses, and her 2 year old loved it too. She also had pasta primavera which she thought was flavorful and yummy, it is a little spicy, but we love spice. She also had the golden mylk with a shot of espresso. The cafe drinks are sweetened with monk fruit, which is so great for people that need to keep a low glycemic. Also, the staff was great! Overall, really great experience at this plant based oasis!

OMG, first time coming here and will NOT be the last. Ashton was right, all of the food here is good and the kelp noodles, were surprisingly good! The carrot cake and the Parmesan Pasta bowl were in the order and I couldn’t stop eating the deliciousness! Thank you, Uncooked Team, for getting an unbeliever of plant based goodness in this form of noodle and gluten free dessert to believe! #Full #Satisfied #lovedIT

All the food here is amazing. The green smoothie is very delicious! I think the addition of some green apple makes it taste complex while only having a few ingredients. My favorite is also the sushi and unntuna. Delicious bites with huge flavor. The pickled peppers are amazing. Everything here feels like you are nourishing your body. I’ve been on a several month quest to try as much as possible. The salads are wonderful. Ans the desserts are decadent and delicious without the usual guilt. The owners have created something truly special. I now have my kids asking for açaí bowls ! Love that I can tell everyone I know about this place. While I’m zooming around downtown it’s always an easy healthy stop Thanks uncooked !

Everything looked delicious! I went with the veggie sushi and loved it’s bright colors and complimentary flavors. They had some peppers on the side that were spicy and fresh ginger to balance it out. They also had cucumber water which was very refreshing and I’ve been making my own at home ever since!

Wow!!! INCREDIBLE food. The seasonings are out of this world. Best raw restaurant I’ve been to in the country. Wish we had one in Dallas. I’ll eat here every day I’m in Chicago! *chefs kiss*

I am a meat eater. I’ve been trying to cut carbs, and eat healthier. I ordered uncooked today, and WOW. The ravioli was amazing. I also got the bowl. It was so fresh, and beautiful. I didn’t miss the meat. Also, the food was prepared beautifully! It was like I was eating art.

I’m visiting from out of town and was searching for nearby vegan/plantbased spots to try. I decided to stop in and give them a try which I was assisted by Carol. The decor and atmosphere is so lovely and cozy! Carol gave me a great overview and description of their business which I love their entire concept of them catering to people who have restrictive diets. She was so sweet as well, please give them a try! 😊

Yummy!!!! This place is awesome. I’ve always wanted to try raw vegan food and this place delivers. I got two donuts, the focaccia, and the arugula salad. The focaccia is a 10/10 - so salty, almost tastes buttery and delicious. I would absolutely get it again. It also has tomatoes and olives which elevated it so much! I also enjoyed the donuts. I liked the vanilla more than the chocolate but both were yummy. The vanilla was super sweet and you can taste a little banana in it so it felt really healthy! I haven’t tried the salad yet but the ingredients sound delicious. The strawberries look really fresh. The staff was also so friendly, I wish I got their names. A nice gentleman at the register who was very funny and easy to talk to. The girl was also friendly. Very nice experience all around! My only wish was that ingredients or macros were provided because I didn’t know what I was eating. It would’ve also been cool to know a little about how the food was made, too (like if it was dehydrated, etc), but I’m grateful it was plant based and raw!

This place is a gem in the west loop! We stumbled upon it while in town from GA. The acai Bowl is one of the best I’ve ever had, and filling. The vegetarian sushi was healthy and delicious. The owners energy is contagious and so kind! Perfect place for a light lunch.

The Mid-West is typically void of this kind of incredible Chef inspired plant-based culinary medicine. You don't need to be vegan or 100% plant-based to enjoy this culinary experience. Trust me, honor your body and taste buds and explore this place. Whether you are a food guru or a foodie grasshopper, you'll absolutely love un cooked.

This is a fantastic spot that makes it so easy to eat well. This feels like one of the first non chain places in the city that’s actually both healthy and tasty and also transparent about their nutritional info which is so helpful when you’re trying to track your intake. I’m obsessed with their smoothie bowls… the granola topping is so good. It’s such a delicious high protein/ low cal option. Life changing spot 🎉

Highly recommend. I came for breakfast and got the PB&J overnight oats and the Blue Magic smoothie. The food here was so good I actually came back later in the same day to try their coffee. Everything is fresh and it is clear they use only the best ingredients. An added bonus is that they specialize in gluten free. The entire restaurant is spotless and welcoming and the workers are all so friendly. I will definitely be back.

I was so curious to try this place and it did not disappoint!!! Everything looked so good but I ended up going with the sesame noodles and carrot cake - both were amazing and tasted super fresh. The owner was also so so sweet. I've already recommended this place to friends and I can't wait to come back soon to try the other items! 10/10 spot!!!

The food here is amazing! We had the kelp noodles and the blue magic smoothie. I love that the food is not only healthy but comes in compostable packaging. Employees are super friendly and helpful. If we lived here we would be regulars!

Wonderful flavors and SUPER fresh food! Wish I could eat every meal here! Jeremy was kind enough to explain all the dishes to us, and Ashton helped with our order…such sweet people! MUST GO!

I LOVE uncooked! I'm so thrilled that I can order healthy and affordable food that just so happens to taste amazing! I can tell that the ingredients are intentionally and locally sourced and they are my absolute fave plant-based restaurant. The staff is super friendly and the vibe in the restaurant is also on point. Can't say enough good things about this place!

Definitely recommend this place. The customer service is outstanding and the food is delicious and well-priced for the quality. When we walked in, one of the people working greeted us and told us about the menu. Very friendly and attentive. We got chocolate and mint desserts and they were fantastic. Also, the arugula and hummus salad and the hibiscus cooler. We are so fortunate to have this healthy option in the West Loop.

I have been eating raw vegan food all over the world about 17 years and want to try this place. I picked 3 different kelp noodles dish they all the taste same. Raw dessert always everybody’s favorite I try 2 different dessert to sweet and taste the same. The hummus bowl was very blend as well. I ate everything I am giving 5 star because I know it is hard to run a restaurant cafe etc. How ever I would try this place again in a weeks coming and I would share again if anything changed.

What a wonderfully refreshing little kiosk for health food lovers! Un-Cooked offers daily fresh-prepared plant-based foods and drinks. I was at their launch and have since tried a few of their products, which do much more than promoting health. Just looking at the presentation of the items for sale, the eye-candy visual stimulation, neatness of design, modernist flow between decor, product and organization, combined with an overall touch of minimalism is striking and pleasing to the senses! A very friendly and knowledgeable staff rounds of the experience with the urge to say: Another reason to say Chicago is full of little treasures!" My favourite drink on their menu is their Lavender Latte. The first time they offered it to taste and I was truly, pleasantly surprised! Since then, I have become a regular Lavender Latte customer. Recently, when I was in need of energy, they made me a triple espresso, Lavender Latte with Cappuccino foam to top it off. What a perfect combination of flavor and lift-off energy!

So… I missed up and didn’t take a picture of what I just ate because that wasn’t the first thing that came to mind. When I saw the deliciousness of their new peach seasonal salad 😍 I opened it right when I got home and ate it, enough said. I am not an only vegan or raw person, and will eat anywhere or try anything good. They put so much love into creating their dishes you can taste it with every bite. If you are looking for good tasting, flavorful food, vegan/raw or not this place will not disappoint.

With all of the positive reviews, I decided to go ahead and order a healthy meal from uncooked. Unfortunately, I received sesame noodles that were at least one day old. I also ordered a carrot cake and received a chocolate almond cake that is hockey puck frozen. I wouldn’t recommend ordering online or on Doordash. 0/10 if I could.

  • 5/5 R R. 2 years ago on Google
I have had raw vegan food at other places, but this was the best I have had. We got the sesame noodles and the bowl as entrees, which were both good but in different ways. However, the showstealers were the desserts - the lemon raspberry tart and chocolate almond tart. Sesame noodles were tasty. The texture of the kelp noodles was delightful and different. I added a little of sriracha after I got home and it just elevated the dish in my opinion. The bowl was simple but tasty. My husband found it boring. But I am a big fan of simple things done well. The sauce was delicious and I would def order it again. The base in the tarts was very good. I have made raw vegan desserts at home before and they have never come out as well as these ones. Would def recommend the lemon raspberry one. It was amazing.

I had the most delightful experience at Sundrip. I have a nut allergy and they were very careful about steering me to the nut free - and delicious! - options. The overnight oats are phenomenal! Thank you Sundrip - my new Chicago go to spot!

My favorite smoothie bowl in the whole area! A great gluten free, vegan option for meals or snacks… especially when looking for a sweet treat (try the cake cups)!! Very kind, genuine people and great service here every time.
