The doctor was really nice but the nurse staff and front desk staff have no idea what they're doing. I had blood work done and the nurse poked me twice before saying she couldn't do it and then a third nurse came in and had to draw it because that first nurse "should've notified someone the first time" and then I told them the medications I was taking (very common stuff) and they were asking me how to spell it and Googled it right in front of me. Also she told me "not to be a baby" when getting my blood drawn because I'm afraid of needles and they kept poking me which I feel like is inappropriate. Then usually I just get a $50 copay as I went to a different urgent care a month before and I am getting bills for $375, $1400 randomly. I called the office and they really don't seem to care to resolve it or run my insurance. I will never come back here and suggest you steer clear as well

If you can wait, go to your primary care dr. Even with an appointment, I waited a long time to see provider and it really didn’t feel like my time was respected. Very loud chatting in office and didn’t seem like patients were a priority. I have liked the primary care office but this didn’t feel great.

The office was nice and clean, the staff was nice and the wait time was short. I actually got good care but unfortunately their billing is a nightmare. I went in August and finally in January I got the billing straightened out. After my visit I was billed an outrageous amount. I have great insurance and my insurance is accepted by this doctor but for some reason they weren't putting my information in right and when I called my insurance they said the doctor's office never billed them so I called their billing and the lady was very rude. She basically told me oh well I don't know what to tell you. You have a month to figure it out. So a month later they send me an email with some other patients name saying my Medicare won't pay. I don't have Medicare. I informed the office they sent me an email with the wrong patients name so they told me to ignore it. A couple months later they were trying to charge me for that outrageous bill again so I called billing again. This time I got a man and he was saying I had two insurances which I do not. For some reason they were tying another patient into my account. We got it straightened out but that's very unsettling to me. The care was good but I'll never go back because the billing is a mess and the fact they were getting me mixed up with another patient who by the way doesn't have a similar name or birthday was very unsettling to me.

It was very easy to make an appointment online. The PA and the doctor saw me five minutes after I checked in. Everyone was super nice and friendly. I also appreciated that they have on-site x-ray. I broke my finger. They bandaged it up, called in a prescription, and gave me a referral to a great doctor that was able to see me later the same day. From check-in to check-out, I was there for about an hour.

I woke up in the middle of the night with an obvious ear infection. I was able to schedule an appointment overnight for first thing the next morning. The team got me in quickly and I was on my way with my prescription for antibiotics within 30 minutes!

I made an appointment for my husband here to be seen in urgent care for his injured hand. I called ahead to make sure they took our insurance and that there wouldn't be any issues since on the website it said he needed a referral to be seen. They assured me it was just my insurance asking for that. So we come in and they immediately tell us that we need a referral otherwise we have to pay out of pocket since it's listed on the insurance card. I call my insurance and they tell us why would we need a referral for urgent care? Provide us with a reference number so reassurance and tell us to inform them we are not seeing a specialist. I go back go the reception stand to be called back and they don't even acknowledge me until someone came in the door and called them first, but the person said I was first and then they call me. I assured them what my insurance told me so, they called their billing department and told us that they couldn't take our insurance again. We left and went somewhere else where our insurance wasn't an issue. They clearly understood what urgent care meant and checked that we don't need a referral. Never coming back to this place again. Don't waste your time if your seeking urgent care here.

I have never had a better urgent care experience than I did here. The staff was friendly, attentive and made me laugh even though I felt really sick. The doctor was down to earth and made sure I was helped in some way before I left, I wasn’t going home with a plan that would leave me feeling just as sick for another week. They even had next day in-person availability when most of Chicago had 3hr walk in wait times or zero availability until January. It was also extremely clean and well sanitized. Without a doubt, I would recommend innovative to anyone and will be going here in the future for all my urgent care needs.

I love my Therapist that I have been working with for over two years. She is kind, empathetic, and knowledgeable. However, their billing department makes my experience really unpleasant. They have charged me 6 times in the last 8 months for money I do not owe them resulting in refunds each time that take about 3-4 weeks to get sorted out. They consistently do not bill insurance correctly so the math is about 40% of my appointments are billed incorrectly. It's a long drawn out process each time so unfortunately I have to move on from my therapist.

Overall I had a wonderful experience here and would definitely recommend to others expecting professional care. The care team is efficient and friendly, and the center itself is very clean! I felt cared for and listened to, on top of receiving same day medications at my pharmacy.

I went into expresscare twice throughout the week for different reasons. Everyone from reception and onwards was amazing, so helpful and friendly. I was lucky enough to have Nadia as a practitioner and her wonderful colleagues to help me. Their first priority was making sure everything was right with me. Overall a great experience and would recommend to everyone.

In the past, I had a good experience with them, but the last time I went to get ear drops for an ear infection and now I am getting multiple different bills even though through my insurance, should only have to pay the copay. I am not sure if the billing team doesn't know what they are doing or if the company is trying to rip people off.

I had a very positive experience at this place. The staff had great bedside manner. The PA, Madison Schulenberg, spent a few minutes discussing my issue and really seemed like she cared (as opposed to trying to get rid of me as quickly as possible). She prescribed a medication that has been helping me and I'm grateful.

Timely service and clarification on my symptom with prescription were so smooth. Clean waiting area and friendly receptionists were also helpful. I was able to book an appointment and saw a doctor in 2 hours and done. I highly recommend this facility.

We ended up at this clinic by chance. I had gone to one close by and they were ‘closed for lunch.’ Our experience here was delightful, the care thorough and clinicians smart and lovely. Terrific with kids. Innovative will be our family’s go to from now on.

Miscoded a COVID-19 test from early 2022 and now I'm getting charged for a copay in late 2023. Sitting on the phone and waiting for their billing department to take a look. What a hassle.

This was my first time at this facility and I was really happy with my experience. The front staff was welcoming and the nurse, doctor, and scribe were all so friendly and caring. I was given a bitter tasting liquid medication so the nurse brought me a capri sun to wash it down- I was very grateful for that! I made an account with their online portal so I can see test results and easily message the doctor. I went here for an urgent care visit and know that I will be back for future needs. Added bonus: tons of parking spaces for drivers, and for bus commuters their door is right by the Ashland and Fullerton bus stops.

I have been to Innovative Express Care twice now, and I have had great experiences. All the staff are so friendly and professional, and I appreciated that the doctor took the time to listen to me and ask any questions. Bonus that you can register all your information online to save time when you get there.

We did a televisit then followed up in person the next day for a somewhat serious breathing problem. Dr. Madison took such great care of us! Thank goodness because it take 3-4 months to get an appointment with an allergist in this city. Thank you!

Yesterday I went in for severe hay fever and bronchitis. The doctor was very sweet and knowledgeable. I got a treatment and my first dose of medicine before leaving. I felt about 10 percent better. By the evening I felt great, and today I feel almost 100 percent. I loved the dr and wish she was a primary care. Staff is nice and friendly. Only urgent care I will go to from now on.

Absolutely wonderful urgent care! Super easy to get an appointment within an hr, waiting room was empty (so no undue covid exposure), and everyone was very nice and fixed me up in no time. Worked with a new nurse practitioner that was just hired. I also have my primary care doctor with them who is also wonderful. Very attentive and easy to work with.

I am a patient at Innovative, and I have been able to get certified for my medical cannabis card. The doctors and nurses are very compassionate. The process was easy during my initial sign-up and during my three year renewal. I always recommend others to use Innovative Care for their IL medical cannabis card needs.

Exceptional! Honestly, I went to two other clinics before I saw the team at Innovative Care. I should have just gone here first! I felt truly taken care of by Arielle Douglas and all the nurses working that night. Despite it being nearly the end of their shift, they were upbeat and chipper. They were so nice and made me laugh, even my ill condition. I felt I was my concerns were listened to and addressed. My entire treatment plan explained to me the entire way. If the service wasn't stellar enough, the price is unbeatable. Urgent care timing with a primary care visit price tag?

Exceptional staff here. My nurse was warm and patient with me (she needed to swab my throat and I could *not* stop coughing) and even tried cheering me up when she noticed how sick I was feeling. Doc was very communicative and explained what was being prescribed and why along with taking her time to answer my questions. A little bit of kindness goes a long way, especially when you’re sick. Highly recommend this location.

I have called this place over 15 times for a refund of my money. I paid $250 for treatment for my mom because she didn't have insurance. Their front office staff stated that they would refund over $100 dollars if no x-rays were taken. My mother did not undergo x-rays and they stated that the refund would return in 3-5 business days. Fast-forward, it is now April and I have not received my refund. The front office staff always state on the phone that they have escalated the problem and have left notes, but I do not believe them. This place is ridiculous.

Innovative's been my go-to spot for urgent care for a couple years and I made them my primary care earlier this year as well. No complaints, staff are all friendly and professional. I never feel rushed through appointments, I always recommend!

I wanted to take a minute to write a review for Michelle Nagel and crew at Innovative Express Care. I started going to Innovative in 2018. Since then the practice has grown so much and literally covers every. single. medical. need. a person may have. General, family, mental health, urgent care, Covid, medical marijuana and unique treatments like ketamine. It’s mind blowing how much quality service you can get in one practice (several different convenient locations). I regularly see Michelle Nagel, a STELLAR PA, who spends so much time with me and with a remarkable amount care and attention. She is thoughtful, thorough, and always willing to support me in any way I need. Including being available online for messaging and video follow-ups etc. I’ve also seen Villarreal and Lindsey over in Urgent Care. All are great and with lovely bedside manner. I am a slight hypochondriac and have struggled with thyroid and anemia issues and they are always so patient with me and empathetic about my symptoms. I have received mental health services here and may try the med spa as well. I never wait more than a few days to see Michelle and can often get in the next day. If I need same day, I do Urgent Care. Thank you Michelle and crew and Innovative for all you do.

This Innovative Care has the most knowledgeable, friendly and caring staff I have experienced. All my life I have had doctors with private practice’s and I was shocked at the service I received upon my visits which I needed during odd hours. Needless to say I now have a doctor with Innovative Primary and the Urgent care as my to go. Alexis and Nadia were wonderful today! They are always timely and thorough. Bedside manner was excellent. My little one was afraid to undress and the situation was handled with care and dignity. I’ve been using them for urgent care for at least ten years. They even will call to followup on care.

Best primary care experience. They are upfront about the costs and what is within their scope. There was very little wait time between appointments. Setting up appointments and the patient portal make everything a breeze. The staff is very efficient and very knowledgeable so I felt like I was in great hands. I felt that all the concerns I had were taken seriously and were well recorded. This was great for the referrals I had to go see, which they issued me promptly and with options. Highy recommend .

I’m blown away! I’ve never had care so seamless and personable before. Erica took my vitals/blood and she was so kind! And Lindsay washed away any anxiety I have while also making sure I was OK. Wasn’t even there an hour, and I left worry-free with a prescription thanks to these great people

I’ve been going to this urgent care for three years and they’re truly the best. The staff is very kind, the space is super clean, and the team is extremely efficient in getting you seen quickly. I’ve always left knowing I’m in good hands with the best plan of action prescribed to my illness. Even if I didn’t live in the area I would drive over just to use this clinic.

Would highly recommend. A truly better quality of care than I’ve received in the past. Thorough and felt actually cared for. Was able to be seen same day and the wait time was minimal. Will be making them my primary care provider.

I have received excellent care here every single time. The team is friendly and takes time to listen and explain. I originally came here for a second opinion after concerns about my primary care physician’s diagnosis and communication. I instantly switched to become a patient in their practice after, and have been for five years. Less important, but certainly convenient, is being able to make appointments online, view all medical information, test results, etc. in their portal, and even communicate through it for things like prescription renewal. The only small negative I have is that it’s almost impossible to get them on the phone, which can be a bit challenging when it comes to followups, say around trying to connect the pharmacy with them when there are questions on prescriptions. In light of how great of an experience everything else is, I will take that.

Excellent experience! All of the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The office was very clean and stylish. My Dr. arrived in my room within minutes, assessed my situation quickly, and I was on my way. The whole experience from check in to exit was less than 45 minutes.

This honestly was the best urgent care I've ever been to. The place is clean and bright and staff are nice. The whole thing took 45 minutes which is longer than I wanted to be there but still not bad. I docked a star because the whole time I was waiting in the exam room I could hear all of the staff's conversations. They were talking about food, complaining about scheduling issues, gossiping, complaining about how late they were there last night... I didn't feel well, I wanted to go home and I had to listen to that the whole time. Please keep in mind that your doors are not sound proof.

I just moved to chicago so when I was feeling sick one day, I was very nervous about finding an urgent care where i wouldn't have to wait hours to be seen and get decent care. I got there right at 8 when they opened and was greeted and checked in at 8:15 and was seen by a very nice doctor and out the door by 8:45. Was able to pick up the medicine i needed at 9 am. It was a great experience. I will be back again if I get sick again.

I have been to this urgent care several times over the last couple years and am always pleased with the care they provide. The wait times are minimal. Usually I've hardly sat down the waiting room before they call my name. I really appreciate the quick but thorough care the nurses and physicians provide.

Everyone was amazing, so nice and so compassionate. They gave me a treatment on the spot, and send me home with the prescriptions I needed. Great experience.
