I worked with Jordan for over a month on a perfect design and I would say that I'm probably not the easiest person to work with since I was always changing my mind on the design.. Jordan helped narrow things down and I'm sure we exchanged over 150 texts and emails. I felt like Jordan always gave me his honest opinion and didn't try to push me towards something just because it was more expensive. Once we finally locked in on a design, Jordan quickly provided CAD drawings for the ring (which we revised a few more times) and then he quickly got it into production and shipped to me. Once it became apparent I wanted a custom designed ring, Jordan worked his tail off to source the perfect stone that exceeded all our requirements while still being within budget. We greatly appreciate his dedication to our project and work ethic. He had multiple stones flown in for us to see side-by-side and ultimately select. Additionally, during the design process, he delivered CAD visuals and quickly incorporated edits until the ring was just as I envisioned. Along the way, Jordan always provided honest feedback. For example I wanted a super thin band; in light of this, he advised on the best metal for the band and Jordan encouraged us to increase the thickness slightly by sharing stories rings he's seen need repairs down the line. Flash forward to now having the ring - it's perfection - just as articulated via the CAD and wax model. Having now talked to other engaged couples on their ring buying experiences, we're so thankful we went through this process with Jordan. Overall, we learned so much about diamonds. I worked with Barb to design a custom ring that was technically challenging in multiple ways. Throughout the whole process I was so thankful I found her! When looking for a jeweler to create an engagement ring for my then girlfriend, now fiancée, I reached out a few members of my family and they all suggested Reuven Gitter as they had created many engagement rings and other jewelry for the women in my family. Jordan was very helpful and discreet during the whole process. I emailed him my price range and the general idea of what I had in mind for the ring he responded the same day. We met less than a week later where Jordan presented me with numerous diamonds of varying cuts and sizes within my range. He went over the grading scale and how to properly inspect he diamond using the jewelers’ tools. He was also very patient while it took what was probably longer than usual for me to pick the diamond. At no point did Jordan ever try to get me to the top of my price range, in fact it ended up being in the bottom half of my price range! They custom made the ring and completed it 6 days before the given deadline! From start to finish the whole process took less than two weeks, some of the days in between steps were due to my availability. They even shipped it to Arizona (where I proposed) for me so I wouldn’t have to travel with it! The end product is nothing short of perfection and my fiancée can’t stop raving about it to me. Our family and friends are all very impressed as well and immediately ask where I got it. Now I know why my family has been using Reuven Gitter for years and I don’t plan on going anywhere else in the future either.
