Bidwell Park is a beautiful large park to visit in Chico. It offers multiple miles of trails, a year round stream, and beautiful vibrant trees in the Spring. There are paved bike paths and regular hiking trails that beach off of the main trail though the park and plenty to see. One of the best places to visit in the Northern Central Valley of California.

Lower park is one of my favorite places to go in Chico. So many trails you can walk, run, bike and even ride a horse on. 2 main driving roads to take a cruise down. Beautiful scenery all year round. If your visiting Chico and want to see the full extent of its beauty, come see Lower Bidwell Park, as well as Upper Bidwell Park!

I love coming here. It's beautiful it's large enough to find quiet swimming spots. You can barbecue and spend the day. There are so many trails that you always have some new adventure waiting for you every time you visit.

Great place for a easy walk. Lots of paved and dirt paths as well as easy access points to the creek.

We have one of the most beautifulest parks in the world to visit it's a must-see but unfortunately the homeless in this area of the lower Park have destroyed most of it if you get a chance to go through in midday I'm sure you'd find it very beautiful and pleasant. Don't forget to look up a beautiful Creek flowing through the prettiest black lava rocks for a picture perfect swimming home and you get away from the homeless in the upper regions of the Bidwell Park

Most, best, purely wonderful, party park. Kids stompin ground, week day hike/ adventure/ walk/ ride/ swim. Breath taking. Family, alone, group, friends, strangers.... just great delightful FUN!

Transient problems... otherwise the park has wonderful layout, activities are everywhere from a natural pool, stream, kids park, exercise trail with activities and individual day park spots along the river. That said there is a transient problem that are agressive and everywhere. Just today we took are child walking along 1 mile only to have to turn arou d due to intoxicated gentleman throwing knives at site 1. Variations of this unfortunetly happen all the time and are only getting worse.
