Great front desk clerk, check-in was fast. Only 1.5 miles from a Sierra Nevada brewery. bed and furniture were comfortable and good condition but shower needs to be refurbished

Very nice. All food places seemed to have closed by 10:30pm. Thought about going to a bar and grill but Marriot has abit of food in a mini type store. Last minute tooth paste, cookies.

If your not a fan of big organized religion with massive amounts of wealth , I wouldn't patronize this establishment , a percentage of your bill goes into the Tithing that's demanded by the owners membership of the religious organization , they're worth billions ! that's my opinion anyway , RD

The room was clean, the lobby was appealing, and the staff was very nice. Special props to the man working the Cafe for great service.

We stayed for one night while driving through to Oregon and it was the perfect place to stop. Tommy was very kind and sweet. We had an issue with our first room and Tommy got us squared away quickly. The rooms were clean, the pool and jacuzzi relaxing, and the breakfast was delicious.

Good value for what you pay for. We've stayed here a dozen times or so and the rooms are large, include a big couch ( that you can sleep on sitting up, if you want too ) a nice large expandable desk space to work, large closet with iron board, a Fridge, a Microwave oven, Coffee maker, hair dryer, a d a big bathroom too. Lots of extras are added, such as complimentary breakfast, extra towels, extra TP, Kleenex also. They have a gym too. I wish that the walls were thicker, because a loudmouth neighbor can ruin your stay. The AC is great. The location great if you visit the brewery down the street too. They have a little room to improve on this slightly older property, but it is my first choice in Chico.

The bed was too high and the mattress was curved up causing pressure on the back. The side closest to the wall made it difficult to get in and out of bed for anyone except for a pygmy with short toenails.

After driving 14 hours to buy a car to have the gentlemen sell it out from under us we decided to stay a night before turning around. My kids 9 an 12 weeks had had more than enough. This was the first place we saw so we pulled in for the night. We had a service dog but no pets were allowed and I didn't feel like arguing with the staff over it so I just let it be and decided he could stay in the pickup for the night and I would check on him periodically they were nice enough to give us a room on the first floor rite by the door where we had parked. Well.. opening that room the smell of dirty carpets a cat pee was so strong my eyes started to water. I just wanted to sit down a feed my baby. I decided to take my shoes off before sitting in the chair but the carpet was soaking wet. Obviously the room wasn't ready to be in service. I went to the front desk and they agreed to move me rooms. The room we were moved to on the second floor didn't smell much better but atleast the floor wasnt wet! We finally went to settle in when my oldest said they're was mold in the corner. I got up to look and even thought it wasn't mold it was a big black pile of dirty socks! I went to grab the dirty laundry bag so I could take them down to the front desk and open the closet to low and behold find another pile of dirty clothes! At this point I was furious as I run a hotel myself my kids clean better! So my 3rd encounter with the front desk and they really didn't seem to care! Told me they had no other rooms to offer me so I could take it or leave it! No discounts offered no nothing. Then to find out in the morning breakfast wasn't even complimentary. So over $200 waisted and not a care in the world from this place if I could give you 0 stars I would! I would deffinetly not recommend this place!

This Marriott is NOT up to Marriott standards. This hotels needs a renovation badly. The rooms have an odor and the bathroom is disgusting. Not worth the money

I downloaded the app and it made it great to have all the information in one place. The room we booked was nicely decorated. The artwork on the walls was much to my liking, it helped me unwind from a long day of driving. The King bed was comfortable and a couch pulled out into a small bed. The flat panel was large and allowed you to swivel for different viewing angles. Plenty of storage for clothing. Bathroom was clean and roomy. The only thing I has an issue with was the mini fridge. The small freezer area needed a good defrosting. Overall very nice experience with friendly staff.

House keeping only came by once during my stay and only made the bed. Didnt take any of the trash and had to take our the trash myself. The front desk ladies were nice and very helpful. Also they dont change out the sheets when they did my bed. Overall the room wasnt good but the front desk people were nice. For some reason they sprayed our room down in perfume which sucked because it was all over my pillow and gave me a eye infection. Rented the room for a full week and didnt even stay in it because of how gross the room is and when i went to complain they told me house keeping only comes once a week although i asked for daily room service. Couldnt get money back.

Not great for light sleepers or someone who likes quiet. The floors are paper thin, and I could hear my upstairs neighbor stomping around at all hours. I could feel for myself that my floor was thin, too, and tried to be quiet but it wasn’t easy. Ask for a third floor (top floor) room if you need quiet. Also, very old and grimy. Marriott, give this place a remodel, more sound proofing, and a deep clean!

Terrible price gouging going on here. I've stayed at countless Marriot hotels across the country and this one is only average. Comparable hotels nearby in some cases were $100 less. So ridiculous.

I am the Broker/Owner of Bates Realty in Southern CA. I took a trip to Chico to check out some properties. This hotel was clean and had friendly staff! Good place to stay if you are looking for a hotel in this area!

This Marriott courtyard was extremely clean and very comfortable. There is a microwave and small coffee maker in the room, as well as a refrigerator. The only negative was that I think the shower curtain could use changing cuz it smelled a little bit like mildew. I ordered the country breakfast. It came with two eggs anyway you like them and it was excellent It had sun-dried tomatoes kale and either potatoes or quinoa. It was gigantic it was enough for three people. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Adequate. Would give 2.5 if I could. Convenient. Staff was friendly. Bathrooms were not clean. Food service - which is limited in a Courtyard anyway - was underwhelming. Would stay again because of my status but would consider other options in this price category as well.

Easy check in. Location was great and all the services they offered at the hotel . Indoor pool and hot tub. Bistro, computer. Pretty outdoor space. Carpets didn't look very clean. Big stain in our room by the window. Quite room like I requested but it was weird because it had a wide curtain but only one window on one side of it. Breakfast was good. The staff at the Bistro we're really great.
