I was here on a Saturday night because my friend was playing. The cover charges was 800rs which included 500 rs for food and drinks. It wasn't too crowded. The food was good. We got beer and few starters. The mutton starter was good. We also got the sholay kabab which was good. Good vibe.

This establishment holds a unique place in the city's history, deserving of recognition. It possesses a certain charm that speaks to a bygone era. However, a fresh perspective on its promotional strategies could enhance its visibility. A reevaluation of the pricing structure might also broaden its appeal. There's untapped potential waiting to be discovered within its walls. Small changes can make a significant difference in attracting a wider audience. It's a gem that deserves to shine brighter. With some thoughtful adjustments, it could truly flourish.

First of all, Overpriced. Ambience is pretty awesome and it's a great place to hang out with your friends! The music is really loud but the songs are pretty damn nice. If only it was less expensive, I'd have given a 5 star rating.

Purple Haze is hands down one of the best hangout spots in Mysore for rock music lovers. The vibe is unmatched — dim lighting, iconic posters, and a killer playlist of classic and modern rock that instantly sets the mood. The staff is friendly and laid-back, making the entire experience feel super chill. Drinks are well-priced, and the menu has a decent variety. Their cocktails and beer options are solid, and the food complements the drinks perfectly — try the chicken starters, they're a hit. Whether you're going with friends or just looking for a place to unwind with good music, Purple Haze delivers. It’s a must-visit if you’re in Mysore and want to soak in some old-school rock vibes.

Ambient, joyful and clean place. With soft music, a great place for a get-together and dine-outs. Good and polite staff. Food was delicious and healthy. Well maintained and neatly arranged interiors.

Nice club, amazing live music in the top floor. The DJ (female) in the floor below was awesome. We didn't have food, but the drinks were good. :)

If you're someone who grew up humming to the legends of Rock and Pop, stepping into Purple Haze in Vijaynagar feels like walking into a time capsule. I simply love the ambience—it’s got that unmistakable retro vibe, with posters of rockstars plastered across the walls, each one a nod to the golden era of music. It’s the kind of place that makes you pause and smile, especially if you’ve got a soft spot for classic tunes. That said, the music playing during my visit was just okay—not quite matching the energy of the decor, but it didn’t take away from the overall experience. We ordered a few side dishes along with drinks: cheese balls, Raja Masala, cheese-pineapple skewers, and good old French fries. Honestly, every single one was worth mentioning—flavorful, well-prepared, and perfect for snacking while soaking in the vibe. The only real downside was the smoking allowed in the seating area. For non-smokers, it can be a bit of a mood killer, and I really hope they reconsider that policy. Still, if you're chasing nostalgia with a side of good food, Purple Haze is worth a visit.

This is a decent place to hangout with friends. It has got nice food with alot of options. Non veg here is better than the Veg. The quality of the food is good but the service is slow. Staff needs to get more active to be honest.

Purple Haze in Mysuru is one of the most happening places in the city, especially for those who enjoy good music, great food, and a lively atmosphere. The ambience has a vibrant pub vibe with dim lighting, energetic crowd, and often live band performances that make the experience even more exciting. It's a perfect spot to hang out with friends during weekends. The food menu offers a wide variety of options including North Indian, Continental, and Chinese dishes. Starters are especially good and pair well with their drinks. The bar menu is quite extensive with plenty of choices for cocktails, mocktails, and other beverages. Prices are slightly on the higher side compared to regular restaurants in Mysuru, but the overall experience justifies it. The service is generally good, though it can get a bit slow during peak hours because of the crowd. Seating is comfortable, but weekends are usually packed, so it's better to arrive early or reserve in advance. ↓

Such a disgrace to rock music. Experienced hindi remix and Pop club music here. Such a sad place. Service was good, music and dj sucks big time. Food is average. If you want to hear Rock music, stay away.

The service was very disappointing. Orders took forever to be served and we had to check with the waiter multiple times. Waiter was lil arrogant. Worst part, they allow smoking in the dining area despite the presence of families and kids. They do have a designated smoking area which seems to be for namesake. Bringing up this issue gave us lot of backlash from the waiter! No sense of hospitality. Food wasn't great either. The owner should either take care of this or better shut the place. Passive smoking is inevitable with them.

Purple Haze has that classic rock pub vibe that Mysore folks know well — loud music, dark interiors, and a lively crowd. The playlist is always a plus if you're into rock and retro. Drinks are reasonably priced, and the food is decent Service is hit or miss — sometimes quick, other times you’re left waiting too long. Also, the crowd isn’t always the most respectful, so it may not be ideal for everyone.

This spot is perfect for kicking back and relaxing with your crew. The vibe is chill enough for some casual hangs, but also energetic enough for a fun night out. Good music and good company make for great memories. Grab your friends and head over, you won't regret it. It's the ultimate weekend hangout spot.

Hello, that nostalgia or that old rock songs are not playing regularly here, I came back to purple haze after 4 years, without thinking they play hard Rock, but it's highly disappointing purple haze with all hard Rock musician posters playing techno,no Kurt, MJ, ledzepplin, phill Collins, Jim Morrison, thinking of what went wrong with place 🤔
