You can go by boat from Hakata Port, or by train from Hakata Station. Of course, there is a parking lot, so you can also go by car. You can watch amazing dolphin and sea lion shows. If you sit in the front seat of this show, you will be bathed in a lot of water. Be careful with mobile phones and cameras. You can also see how the keepers dive and feed the fish in the huge tank with commentary. The movement of the large school of sardines eating food is a masterpiece. There is also a restaurant and a souvenir shop in the hall, so you can enjoy a leisurely day.

Best kids friendly spot in Fukuoka. Only half an hour away from Hakata Station by JR train. Amazing display of local sea life and massive tanks hosting sharks and lots of magnificent animals. Must visit if you are on a family trip.

The show in the main pool is a lot of fun. The staff does a really good job at getting the crowd involved. It also changes based on seasons I am assuming. When we went in the summer they got into the water with the dolphins, but when I went in the fall they didn't. The dolphins instead had different tricks. It was nice that it wasn't the exact same show. The other smaller shows are very interesting as well. I really enjoyed it overall. My favorite tank is the really large one with the sharks! So peaceful to just sit and watch them. You can also get really up close and personal with the penguins. Overall, I recommend it.

We went here as part of a group tour, it was included in our itinerary. The main reason for this travel to Japan was a Math competition in Fukuoka, Japan. I hope we could stay longer in this Marine World, but we have a very limited time. The place was clean, educational and entertaining. It is a very nice place to include in your itinerary in Fukuoka, Japan especially if you travel with children.

Best to avoid. Lack of respect for the animals. Large fish, reptiles and mammals are kept in tiny spaces. Visitors are encouraged to grab and lift various starfish species at a shallow open aquarium. Worse there seems to be no educational approach nor any appeal to contribute to the protection of these fascinating animals The way the animals were displayed reminded me of a seafood menu.

Marine World is the aquarium located in Fukuoka. You can reach out this place by train. I use a train and transfer the other train from Hakata. Marine World is located near sea and looks like an island. Many people visit this place with their children. Very good place to visit with children. You can see the dolphin show everyday. Awesome sea animals as well. I highly recommend this place to visit when you visit in Fukuoka, Japan.

Observing these magnificent creatures in the tank as they receive training for shows is a bittersweet experience. However, I remind myself that this is an educational opportunity, for all the tourists. And these magnificent creatures are under the care of professionals who hold their well-being in high regard.

A great place to spend the day. Lots of activities that will entertain young and old. The facility is bug too and a great showcase of the local marine life.

A little outside the main city of Fukuoka. Better to take some food with you. Private car is good for minimize cost as well time. Outside environment is much better than indoor.

Great place to visit with children. The dolphin show is just fantastic compared to the volume of the place, not bad for watching. There is a food corner beside the underneath pool at B1 where you can see dolphins swim along. There is also aquarium, penguins and other sea creatures for excitement.

A pretty nice aquarium with a wide range of fishes and deep sea species. There is a large tank where you get to see many fishes, sharks, string ray all at once glance. The v highlight is animal show and feeding at various timing. And you get to have very up close to see the animal like dolphin etc during the show.

The place is amazing. Specially for the fish lovers. Ticket price is 2350 yen for adults. Dolphin show time usually at 11:30, 13:00, 15:00. You can also check the updated show time from their website. There are various kinds of fishes with details. There is also a souvenir shop. You can buy many items from there including key rings, magnets, dolls, stationaries etc. Restaurant available in ground floor.

Excellent place highly recommended there were so many things to see that other aquariums just didn't offer. I was thrilled with my experience especially watching the dolphins jump out of the water. If your visiting the area I highly recommend to come here and experience the aquarium.

-Bought tickets in advance through KKday -Visited on a Thursday and it was not that crowded -Beautiful place by the sea -Short walk from the train station -Most of the shows only had 1 timing so make sure you plan out your day -Cafeteria was cool, located next to a giant tank. You can easily order through a ticket machine and pass the ticket to the individual counters to collect the food. -Small souvenir shop located near the entrance.

Very fun place to go see the sea animals. I love the different places you can go to and the exhibits. Me and my wife went to look at the dolphin show and it was so much better than we expected. Lots of fun and we got to see some penguins up close as well. I would recommend this place to many people because it is also family friendly and it's a good place to go to for events or vacation. I will come again next time I come to Fukuoka. Looking at all the attractions and animals took around 3 hours.

Very convenient to reach the aquarium by public transportation and we just need to change line once. It was super busy when we visited. The experience is good especially for families since they have a lot to offer, from many aquatic species to different shows and a very lovely souvenir shop. But it is quite hot when the place is packed and food is not good.

Very nice aquarium. Not busy at all on the day we visited. Lots of live sea creatures to view. Whales and penguins of course were very fun for the whole family. Nice boardwalk and little park area outside where you can have some lunch or something. Definitely worth visiting if in the area.

This aquarium have dolphin, sea otters, tropical fishes, jelly fish and more. The dolphin and seal performance is wonderful. They provide heater on the sit during winter. I like the large tank at the restaurant to see the dolphin while eating.

Thoroughly enjoyed myself. Definite visit if you like acquariums. There's a selection of the undersea fauna around the Fukuoka coast. Most impressive was the massive tank filled with sharks, rays and fishes. You watch it from a dimmed area around the tank with serene, ethereal music. A most excellent experience. The penguins were lots of fun at feeding time.

Excellent aquarium, with an interesting section concerning deep sea creatures. You can feed the seals in an outdoor pool. The aquarium is part of the seaside part which also have children playground and a zoo. Overall highly recommended.

It was fun, but the routing could have been designed better. There were many people when we went, and there were few places to stand and clearly observe the large tank during their light show. Besides that, it was an interesting place.

A bit small (well… we are from Okinawa…) but pretty nice! There are a lot of species won’t able to see in Okinawa. Very unique! Don’t miss out the The skeleton meaeum. It’s pretty awesome.

A place to be young again and enjoy the wonders of the vast world under the sea! I enjoyed the amazing sea lion, dolphin and whale show. The place showcase the many sea creatures unique to Japan's water territory.

Loved it. Got there a bit after opening and was able to make the dolphin and sea lion show (amazing, my daughter loved every second). Overall, a fun experience, good variety of animals. You'll definitely be here awhile.

Great miniature of the sea which shows us the unique fish from local shore. The building' architectures made us easy to explore every pools. The schedules displayed at the wall with certain time for every shows, such as fish feeding and dolphin show.

2350- TRUST ME ITS WORTH THE PRICE YOU PAY . There is a dolphin show which everyone should MUST try, Giving 4 Star since they dont accept passmo or credit cards. Onething I like the most, they have free parking and they dont count for how long you stay there. Good place if you are visiting with family
