One of the most comfortable awesome smaller casino and hotels. They treat you like family. Great rooms always clean, great places to eat while there. Some wonderful bars that the bartenders remember what you ordered after the first time!! Great prices.. And the gambling is fantastic!!! You want be disappointed it's a great place!

The casino has my favorite machines in great locations. I didn't win big, but I was able to use my strategies and stay afloat. When you can walk in with $20 and turn it into $120, go play bingo and more slots for 2.5 hrs, I am satisfied. I will visit again. I did not stay at the hotel because I could not sleep somewhere that allowed smoking. I think the exposure in the casino alone caused me to become extremely ill by the time I got home. I will go back because it's a good time. YOLO!!

If you aren't wanting to spend a ton of money for somewhere to sleep, but still want something nice....this is the place! The rooms are decent...dated but clean, and you can tell maintenance does a good job trying to keep the place in good shape. The beds are comfortable. The bathroom has a window that you can actually open. You have to swipe your room key to get past security before getting on the elevator, so there's not a bunch of trouble running around the hallways. The Chinese restaurant has excellent food! The drinks at the bar are very reasonable, especially compared to the high price you'll pay at the strip. All the staff we interacted with, front desk, security, bartenders, cocktail waitresses, housekeeping, they were all very pleasant to deal with. Loved the selection of games, and the keno lounge is great. Will definitely stay here again!

My family and I have been to this property several times and there was nothing significant that stood out during any of our visits - both negative and/or positive. The customer service is on this property is good. Whenever we required assistance, whether it was checking into our room and obtaining a new player's card at the rewards center, we had an adequate experience. The restaurant selection on this property is average...although, I wish there were more fast-food/casual (quick bites) selections. Also, I wish the buffet was still open too since the buffet at the property next to Gold Coast closed theirs as well. Regardless, our recent experience at Ping Pang Pong was exceptional (check out my separate Google review of this restaurant). The room we stayed in was decent; we only got a standard 2-queen room, but it did its job and we were comfortable. The bathrooms were well kept/clean and the bed/pillows were nice. The carpets and walls could use a little updating and/or freshening up, but, that's just being nitpicky since overall, the quality was good. The one thing I found less than desirable is the location of the property. If you're visiting Las Vegas, I suspect the location wouldn't be that bad since you are somewhat close to the strip, and you're close to the Palms and Rio properties. However, as a local, I'm not too fond of the immediate area...meaning, I don't feel 100% comfortable walking around outside the property at night with my family. Don't get me wrong, you're not walking around seeing tanks operating down the streets or anything, but there were a little questionable activity going on, especially during our walk to Rio. Overall, this property is ok; although there's nothing significant that stood out, I still feel it's worth the visit...but I won't sit here and say how awesome this place is either.

My husband and I are over the road truckers. We look forward to getting out of our truck and mingling with the regular people on occasion. While they provide a space for a semi to park, it is heavily monitored. We weren't there more than 10 min and security was approaching us. We were immediately informed we were allowed to stay for 3 hours and needed to register our vehicle. Why are truckers treated this way? We bring all commodities needed to keep a facility like this supplied and yet we are treated like parishes. They want our money but run us out like we're dirty truckers. We have 34 hours to decompress from the road on a reset. It is badly needed. We just wanted to have a little fun and feel like we're still a part of society. Thanks for ruining this for us.

First time staying here as I usually spend time staying at the Rio next door. I enjoyed Gold Coast and wish I would've had more time to experience more of what this hotel casino had to offer. I'm not saying the place is extravagant like the Bellagio, but what I am saying is the rooms were clean and kind of had a home away from home appeal. There's a variety of restaurants, but I didn't get to try them all. Parking was great. The casino wasn't overly crowded, and the services from their security officers were very good as well. I will definitely make the trip back for some R&R.

Good variety of games, like both Chinese Restaurants. My only complaint last time was Noodle Express was looking tired and out of the Blue they spruced up the restaurant, their large hotpot is a really good deal. If you want a chill place to play, have a couple of drinks and eat good Chinese cuisine this is the place. Not alot of bells and whistles but sometimes you don't them, reminds me of a friendly neighborhood joint.

We stayed here because our airline cancelled our flight and this place was the best of the worst options. If the smell doesn't deter you at the entrance, the moldy dirty smell of the rest of the hotel will. The cigarette burns on the bed were an added bonus. The only ray of sunshine in the place was Cindy at the front desk. She was upbeat, kind and sweet. The other golden egg at the hotel is the Ping Pang Pong restaurant. The resort fee is a major cash grab $35 per night and the pool is the only amenity there. We couldn't leave this place fast enough.

I stayed here last minute while passing through Vegas. Actually a pretty good hotel in terms of quality compared to rate. It is also relatively close to the main strip in case you wanted to go explore a little bit. The casino it has is a nice one with good ventilation and good rates for some of the games. I'd have no problem staying here again. I'd recommend this place to anyone looking for a good overall stay with good rates

I just wanted to stop by to relax and do a little gaming. But I have to say, the cocktail waitress was One of the best and nicest I've ever come across. She suggested a wonderful beer with a lemon. Was so good! and was very tentative to everyone as she worked the area with a southern bell smile. Combine that experience with the nice clean atmosphere and easy to park Casino, and you have a great place to hang out. And with service like that, you don't even mind loosing a little money once in a while.

I stopped while on my break, to use the restroom. The Valet was very helpful and funny at the same time. He gave me easy directions through the casino. The bathroom was clean and the supply's were plentiful.... I may have to stop by for a longer visit next time.

First time staying here, enjoyed it. Like that TGIF's is open 24/7. Had a good 22-oz Prime Rib at their steakhouse. Server told me of early bird prime rib special with loaded baked potato & salad for $42, will try that next time. Hit the fitness room by pool, was nice & quiet. Wish all the rooms had mini fridge included & the TV channel selection was limited, but small inconveniences there

Haven't stayed here in awhile but not very satisfied with my visit here. Room with double queen beds seem too small. Bathroom is too small. Love the upgrade of the shower. About the only thing impressive to me along with the comfortable beds. TV shutoff on its own after being on between 5 - 10 minutes. Carpet so dark it looked dirty. Short stay is fine but upgrade definitely needed.

One of my favorite places to stay. Great locals casino. Lots of video poker, fun table games and good food. (Although wish they had a pizza place.) Rooms are okay (Should be better after remodeling, which is being done now.) Customer service is amazing.. Highly recommend!

I like the fact that they don't have hundreds of refrigerators running for nothing, if you request one they will bring it, I always thought that was a waste, room is nice, steakhouse was great 20 bucks off with room. Pool area doesn't open till 10 which is very disappointing we wanted to get a swim in before leaving. Huge bowling alley. Really need to be more clear on their website that there is still a resort fee, I know how it works been coming here for years but still fooled me lol,

Love this place. Large selection of slot and table games on the casino floor. Nice sized sports book. Rooms are very nice. Great food choices here. Probably the best Chinese food in the entire city. Large bingo hall. Bowling alley upstairs. I mean the list goes on & on. Staff is always friendly, helpful, informative & professional. Highly recommend.

We use the conference room weekly and we book rooms for our customers, Jidel, Betsy, Greg and all the other staff we work with have been absolutely AMAZING! We love the staff here. If you’re looking to book a conference here, don’t hesitate. They are fantastic to work with and we pay them very much. Thank you from all of us at Vacation Offer.

I find the hallway a little creepy, but I'm pleasantly surprised by how spacious the suite room is. The bed and pillows are comfortable, although the downside is that the bathroom is a bit small for the suite. The hotel is located a bit far from the strip, but it's easy to get there with Uber. The hotel is close to Chinatown and has a great selection of food options.

We came from Germany after a long journey. Arrived late, found everything perfect. The hotel is a bit older and, above all, the carpeting in the room is no longer very modern. But all around is fantastic. The staff at the front desk, the security staff and the service in the restaurant were extremely friendly. Although it's only March, we were able to enjoy the spring-like temperatures and the nice weather in the pool. Our kids loved the pool and the adults loved the jacuzzi. A great first day to start the holiday. Thanks!

First time staying at Gold Coast because of the other positive reviews. What a disappointment. Stayed 2 nights in room 130, 1st floor. Unfortunately was still able to smell smoke from casino. Room is clean, but needs more lights; too dark. Uncomfortable bed w/ 2 flimsy pillows. We asked for extra pillows, but it was never delivered. Didn't gamble a dime because casino was too smoky, even w/ the face mask on. Parking was plenty thou. Will not return.

We went here to gamble one night. I play craps and the table minimum is $10. We played for a while and also played on the craps machines. The craps machines have a $1 minimum so my Mom likes them better. It is a little smoky but not too bad. We had fun.

The resort is pretty typical for off-strip resorts. This is one of the spots where locals lobe to play. The stand put for this trip was Cindy at the front desk. She is truly exceptional! Due to issues with the airline changing our flights, we had 2 reservations, which Cindy patiently helped us to transfer. When an issue outside of our room triggered a medical event for me, Cindy sprang into action and quickly moved us to a room which was quiet and protected. Thanks to Cindy, we were able to avoid a trip to the emergency room. Not only is she the consummate professional; Cindy is also an angel!

Just finished a 5 day, 4 night stay at the Gold Coast. First, the price was more than reasonable. The room was very clean, towels and linens attended to daily, and should you need something, the staff was ready to assist you. The Casino was also very well maintained and the free drinks were easily available and definitely not on the weak side! My compliments also to the great staff at TGI Friday's! We ate breakfast there 3 days as well as two nightly dinners and the food was excellent and plentiful. The staff was very friendly and service was great!!! Kudos to everyone associated with the Gold Coast! Highly recommend!

I didn't stay here but I did gamble and eat quite a bit. Great customer service, machines and tables seemed loose and the food was amazing. Honestly, if you love Asian food this is the Casino for you! Ping Pang Pong was hands down best food I had on my Vegas trip!

i mean, it’s a place to stay at which was nice. wasn’t a great experience at all though. after a fun night, one of us blacked out & puked in the room. we tried calling room service to help clean it up. except they never came…. for about 3 days. so the room smelled the whole time. but they had the audacity to send police over because it was β€œsuspicious” that we hadn’t had room service in 2 days. even though we called multiple times asking for it. never coming back

Met for dinner at TGIF. Service and food was great as always. Gold Coast also supports our Raiders!! Location is easy, off the strip, free to park, go in and out quickly. Great for locals and tourists looking for simple and welcoming.

Very clean, calm, and comfertable environment. Up-to-date machines, as well as older classic machines too. Not to mention the plenty of jackpots being won around the casino frequently. The only reason i could not find myself to rate the full 5 stars on my review, would only be due to my personal losses during my visit while playing on the machines. Lol.

If we knew how bad it was would have never stayed at this hotel. The room design is the most peculiar we ever seen, you enter the room and hit the beds and the bathroom is at the end of the room. Bathroom is always at the entrance at every hotel we stayed. The ac controller is so low and tiny. The worst was that the windows did not close properly and due to the wind at eight floor, literally you hear the wind howling through the room and corridor. Air conditioning in the casino is absolutely disaster, all of us we ended up sick with fever and scratchy throats. The cake it took on last day early morning at 7:12am when the fire alarm went off. For the next almost one hour and a half the alarm was beeping, and between stops human voice will tell us that the source of the fire alarm is being investigated. Absolutely nightmare!!!

Loved the proximity to the Allegiant stadium, airport, and the strip. The rooms were clean and renovated, and loved that it had a Starbucks downstairs. The only down sides we didn’t particularly enjoy were the fact that they still allow cigarette smoking in the casino and in the hotel in general. Made us nauseous to where we didn’t wanna be in the casino, and they had lost our reservation upon arrival so it took a long time to sort it out. Cheap place to stay and overall pretty good experience except those two things.

We stopped in after dinner and spent 2 - 3 hours in the casino. Reasonably good drink service. My wife had good luck at the machines. We were able to find some of the older machines, which, for me, was great as I am not a gambler. My wife is more adventurous and she is always luckier than me. She used the newer ( i.e., higher minimum bets) and enjoyed herself. Hopefully, we can return as it is not as hectic as Fremont or the strip. Plus free self parking!!

Very old and classic casino. People are allowed to smoke indoors. Poor air quality. Don't go there if you have breathing issues. Otherwise go during not so busy hours. I like the slots machine the. Always have a good time.

I had this really weird, Studio Ghibli-type experience here where I just stepped out of my room to leave and quickly noticed two armed security guards marching shoulder-to-shoulder directly towards me. They were marching with such force that the entire hall seemed like it was shaking under their weight. I had no idea what to do and felt like immediately running back into my room would have seemed suspicious, so I just froze and watched them as they marched towards me. When they got what felt like inches away, they synchronously stopped, pressed their backs up against the walls of the hall, and raised their hands to indicate I had their permission to pass. Not knowing what else to do, I thanked them and walked between them. They said nothing this whole time, and simply resumed marching in step after I passed. I still don't know what to make of this.

Had an excellent stay at the Gold Coast in Vegas! The rooms were both comfortable and spotless, ensuring a peaceful rest each night. Cozy, but could use a slight remodel, beds were clean and comfortable. The casino vibe was lively and fun, and the dining options did not disappoint. A memorable trip, highly recommended! Will be back.

First time going to this casino. I just went to get something to eat. So I stopped in at TGI Fridays. The restaurant has lost its cool factor. But the food was still solid. The mozzarella sticks are still bomb. The whiskey chicken sandwich was great. And my blue ocean oasis cocktail was on point. Fridays cool factor might be gone. But the food is still solid. That was my first time going back in 10 years.

I can't help but wonder. Are the Vegas casinos making all these changes to eventually phase out the gambling element altogether? Not just Gold Coast, but nearly all of the casinos in town. It seems like casinos are making all sorts of changes knowing very well that guests will not like it. It seems like whatever guests and players like, a casino will do away with it. Buffets are making a major comeback after Covid. However, casinos are continuing to close buffets down. Many casino restaurants charge concession fees. Casinos now charging players for drinks, parking, resort fees, lack of housekeeping. Cutting down on comps unless a player is a high roller/whale. Eliminating $5.00 table games and raising the house edge on many table games and slots. I suppose the new motto for Vegas is, 'If you want to attend a concert, sporting event, races, convention, show, etc, then come to Vegas'. But, if you're more interested in just gambling, go elsewhere. There are a multitude of native American casinos throughout the country who offer better odds, lower limits and all the amenities that Vegas casinos USED to offer. Sad but true

Best consistent bowling experience I've found so far. The bar closes earlier than everywhere else, so that sucks but it's still a good time. The lanes are good for real bowlers and you don't have the hassle of waiting at south point

Went for company party and dinner and everything was great. When entering the casino part it was the worst air quality of all the casinos. Some areas really need upgrades and was dingy smell walking around in certain areas and way too hot.

Paid for a double queen room but the beds are full size. Yes, I measured them. $40 a day for resort fees so they can put the coffee pot can be in the bathroom next to the toilet,…YUCK! and for internet that costs extra!?! If I’m already paying for it, it should be included in the price or not listed as a feature. The rest of the furniture was chipped and scratched and the chairs were sagging. Plus the barn door style bathroom door hung out so far from the wall there was no point to the door. Then all of the wallpaper was pealing, or torn, or stained. Yet, they are remodeling. Not sure if this is a finished room or not but if I were them I would hope not.

Seemed to be ok. Loved how the bathroom was, especially that I could open my window for fresh air. Arrived was later that I was suppose to so really wasn't able to venture much. If did sleep well in the bed though. And the valet boys were awesome. I'm gonna stay here again I know that

Classic older Vegas vibe with overall a pretty cheery staff and they are generally more than happy and even eager to help people so that was refreshing. I smile goes a long ways for some people, sometimes. My main and only negative experience was their machines. Set extremely tighter than normal but I'm sure there's a method to the madness but overall solid old school classic place u could bring the kids and take the family bowling

Love this place! Just a short distance west of the Strip, this classic Vegas feel casino has stood the test of time. Very large gaming floor, which includes the newest slots, and the oldest. Also large selection of table games. Very large SportsBook. A great Bingo Hall on the second level. Two excellent Chinese Restaurants. 3 large bars. A very nice gift shop. Employees are friendly, helpful & professional. Nice new and improved restrooms. Highly recommend. The one and only negative thing was the profiling and the unprofessional and the almost creepy security guards.

Stayed over Labor Day weekend and had a great experience. The staff was very nice, the gym has everything you need, and the restaurants were good. I recommend Ping Pang Pong. Only thing downfall for the hotel was our room didn’t have a refrigerator. All in all I’d definitely stay here again over staying on the strip.

due to 24/7 smoke smell we will not be back. unfortunately the room needs some TLC. wall paper in the bathroom is falling off. we had a room on the first floor. on the plus side the upgraded tile in the shower is a nice upgrade. most of the colors in the room & bathroom are calming. need to mention noisy a/c. the bed is comfortable & the European style closet is a nice touch. the bathroom counter is spacious & the shower curtain & curved rod are in good condition. the upgraded carpet exceeds expectations. (I edited this review as the hotels response to the original review seemed odd based on our lack of satisfaction of the room.) I like to mention the pros & cons of any place I visit. it appears the person reading the review only read a sentence or two & there was no time to read our concerns. this may be a teaching moment for myself (always place concerns in the beginning of the review?) & the hotel to read the entire review before responding

I was there bowling with my family and decided to stop at the casino for a min. Within 2 min I won $100 on the Dancing Drums!! Left with $83 and sat down with $20. But the casino seemed nice. Lots of games. The building looks a little older and the parking lot needs more lighting because it was sketchy walking outside with my family at night to find our car. But for the few min I was in the casino it seemed Nice!

I just wrote a review about your bingo hall and the customer service we received. We played two sessions and we enjoyed the people and the excellent customer service. We also ate at a Chinese restaurant serving dim sum between the sessions. The food was hot and quite tasty. We both had to get boxes to go because we ordered a lot of food. We ate some of the food before our flight. And we ate the food the next two days after we got back to Texas. The people were so courteous, polite, kind and friendly. We didn't do much gambling since we had a flight to catch. The outside of the casino looked clean and good; however the inside looks like it needs some updating; but, that won't stop us from coming back. Expect us in October. πŸ˜ƒ

I love the casino at the Gold Coast and all the games that they have to offer. I really like that the hotel rooms are a decent price and they have a very nice pool and very nice restaurants. The staff at the hotel desk is very kind and patient, You can use your rewards and save on your room and in the gift shop. . A lot of cigarette smoke in the air here. No joke...🚬 πŸ˜• So if you don't want to be around smokers this casino may not be right for you. Everything other then that is good.

My favorite casino out of all the ones I've been too, maybe because I hit right here my 1st big winning. There's a lot of security here. The waitresses take forever to come ask around if anyone is interested in beverages.

Gold Coast Hotel and Casino is a great locals casino. It is not on the strip, but has most of the same casino activities. This is a great location to visit if you are not wanting the high pressure casinos and overwhelming glitz. Located near the strip so it is just a short dive if you are looking for a good place to stay and still visit the strip.

This place is classic Vegas. An older hotel and casino but the service is impeccable. The rooms are well taken care of, even if the sheets are a little on the rough side. The food is amazing. The steak, at Cornerstone, bacon wrapped filet with roasted garlic was spectacular. The Kobe Beef Meatballs are so damn wonderful! The alcohol is always flowing everywhere you go, and if you're gambling the drinks are decently strong. The staff, everywhere in this place, are always on hand to take care of you, no matter what you may need, they will help you get it. I would highly recommend this hotel and casino and will be going back again!

We didn't stay here but love to play their slot machines. We didn't win but we lasted for a while meaning machines are giving but taking it back at the end not like other casinos your money is gone right away. Oh yeah their Chinese restaurant the best we've ever tasted and we've been through a lotbkinda expensive but very palliative and good portion still was able to take some for the next sitting.

It's an older hotel frequented by older locals. The $36 per day "Resort Fee" is a joke, because this place is far from an actual "resort". The TGI Fridays is the best thing in the whole place, and bartender Jenifer is great!
