I've been here 3 times and it never disappoints me. We last went for our anniversary dinner and we had so much fun. The environment is very welcoming, the booths are very comfortable and with music to entertain, although with that lighting and activity it opens the door for more intimacy and a good conversation. The food was magnificent!! Price is decent for the amount of variety in meats. Also low carb friendly which we loved 😍 they constantly changed our grills to avoid smoky situations. I definitely recommend this place. Perfect for couples, friends and family. I would avoid newborns or infants since it can get smoky and the grills are hot.

12-4-21 This place is awesome! Everything from the service to the food to the price was excellent! We got the all-you-can-eat and cooked our food right at the table. It's a cookout that you don't have to clean up afterwards! The servers are attentive and quick! We will definitely be back soon!

This place is delicious! Only my 2nd time having Korean BBQ and it's my favorite. The prices were reasonable. I called ahead to make a reservation and they weren't taking any. However, you do need to put toot name on a waiting list. Gets busy the later you go but the food is worth it.

This place is amazing, the food is the best! We left feeling so full! It was a good price, all you can eat and free refills for only $26.99 per person. There is a $5 per plate fee if you don't finish all the food, so eat up! They have a great atmosphere, and the music was a club mix of top songs from the early 2000s. Staff was always available, and we left feeling satisfied with the service! It's family friendly so bring your kids along!

Average. 21 more people shared a meal with me last night in a table. My first time here. To start im not a fan of the decor and ambience. The blue lights give you a vibe of a night club instead. The sides offered with the Neal are nothing special. The salad it’s just lettuce with a spicy dressing. The prime meat was extremely hard. It’s supposed to be tender… what happened? Please chance the scissors ✂️ they are not working. Hard to cut the steaks with them. Specially if the meat is hard as it was ours last night. No dessert choices at the end of the meal. At least include ice cream like many other Korean barbecue places. Service was ok overall. I do not recommend this place.

Fantastic! The food is great and all you can eat! For $35! Well worth it. The sushi was great as was everything and the service and atmosphere was good too. Only complaints is that they didn’t explain ANYTHING. It’s pretty self explanatory but at the same time I would have love some input as well as an explanation of what the sauces were and what they paired well with. I also had to request the corn cheese 3 times before I got it by it was delish when I did!

Gen's was recommended by our uber driver and I'm glad we went. It was our first time trying Korean BBQ and it was so delicious. Our server Heather was very nice and helpful. We had a lot of options to try within 90 minutes... Definitely will visit again next time we are in Las Vegas.

We were in Vegas before going on a 3 day backpacking trip. So our big group went here the night before. We loved it so much we came back after the backpacking trip. Service was excellent and food was delicious. It was a great experience for everyone. Selections were great and the staff was very friendly and attentive.

First time at this location. Food was amazing. Service was barely ok. At one point, with our glasses empty, our waiter didn’t come check on us for almost 45 minutes. We were parched to say the least and our grill sat empty that hour. It took us quite awhile to get any staff to stop by our table so we could get service. So dinner was longer than expected but again the food was great!

I really enjoyed myself. Cooked my own food and didn't have to clean the kitchen after. My first time trying baby octopus had to pick it out my teeth lol

This place is awesome. The food is so delicious and the waiter’s and waitresses were so kindly and friendly. We order a lot of some and some beer and it was delicious. We made reservations because whole place was really full. We had a really good experience..

Excellent! Server took the time to explain the menu and ordering process. Food arrived very quickly and we enjoyed cooking it on the table grill. I did find it odd that we were provided with a plastic fork with the chopsticks. Why not use real flatware? And was disappointed that they didn't have goguchang sauce. But everything we ordered was scrumptious. Definitely recommend.

This is my family‘s favorite restaurant once a week we come here as a family and everybody enjoys to the kids are teenagers. Everybody loves cooking service is so amazing. Everybody is so sweet and so kind and so much patience for me and my family we are a party of 6 the staff is very kind. It’s very clean and they’re very fast.

First time going here and it was an amazing experience! The service was here was second to none. They were quick with our food choices and drink refills. They made sure our table was clean of used plates and our grill topper was always ready for cooking. I love that we could cook our food at out table and everything we had tasted so GOOD. All you can eat and get the "kfc" for sure while you wait for your food to cook. And the fries with spicy sauce..I forgot the name but I couldnt stop eating it haha. Price was affordable for sure. Literal best service I’ve had in A LONG TIME. Our server was Halena and she absolutely kills it as a server - thank you SO much for being so attentive and giving us such a pleasant experience. Alongside the excellent main service Halena gave us, the entire rest of the staff was on point. Everyone was consistently stopping in to remove used plates, change the grill for us, or give us refills. We found ourselves complimenting the serve staff during dinner conversation on multiple occasions throughout the course of the meal. To say we were impressed and very happy with our dinning experience this evening would be an understatement. As someone who spent years serving in many restaurants around the country, I can genuinely say I was blown away with the service we received tonight. Thank you to the staff of Gen on Sahara in Las Vegas on 7/22/2023. You guys are exemplary at what you do.

The food itself is pretty middle of the road for a Korean BBQ place, not anything to write home about. We went in with a 9 year old little girl and they asked how old she was, we said 9, and they said ok, she gets the meal at half price, we were like that's nice. Then at the end of the meal they charged full price and we asked about it, they went and got the manager who gave us a really doubtful demeanor, it was incredibly rude without him actually saying anything directly rude. Simply put it made me pretty angry that they offered this right when we came through the door then acted like we were trying to rip them off, it was seriously unprofessional for something worth a couple bucks. There's too many actual good places to eat in town to deal with this sort of thing.

Great cuts of meat. The pork cheek and spicy pork belly was delicious. Service was on point, quick, and changed our grill top everytime we asked. I wish they had meat thermometers available for the table to perfectly prepare the meat, but that's a small gripe.

This place is a hit or miss with service. Also with food. Sometimes everything is delicious. Sometimes everything taste and smell like it’s about to spoil. Sometimes we get attentive service on top of drinks and food. Sometimes it’s like pulling teeth to get a refill. I noticed though with a lot of places the man gets the automatic refills and the women needs to ask a million times for a refill. I haven’t had the sushi, didn’t even know there was sushi. I wish cooking oil and sauce came separately so we can properly cook the food. One visit they took the cooking tray in mid cooking to replace it which didn’t make sense, why change the cooking tray in the middle of cooking meat. We asked the manager if that was common because that’s never happened to us before and he said oh yeah I did it all the time. I think he was lying so his employee didn’t get yelled at. I recommend going at night that’s the best service. The day shift is the problem. Other then that’s I recommend this place. The environment has good music but the tables are greasy. They also like to mop and spin the mop near you. I have gotten water on me and the guy didn’t even apologize. Not sure why they’re cleaning floors while serving food. But whatever. The bulgogi is what keeps us coming back. They also raised there prices. Let’s just say I’m going to make bulgogi at home more.

I love this place. Great food, kids enjoy cooking their own food on the table. Price is great and you really can get all you cam eat. Service has always been quick and easy and replaces the burner plate very often. Will go back time and time again and bring other family and friends with me.

I loved this place so much i would go at least twice a month .until one day i went with a group the service was terrible we didn't get food promptly even the salad took 45 min. But this is what took the cake because the service was so poor i wrote zero for the tip the waitress charged my credit card $50.00 without my permission i called the restaurant the next day when i saw the charge. The manager remembered me because he apologized for the poor customer service.i explained i put zero with a line through in the tip area and who authorized them to bill my card an additional fee he said he would call me back when he did he said i wrote $50.00 i told him thats a. Lie and he lost a customer i felt robbed. I disputed and was refunded the full amount of the bill if u go to gen on Sahara pay cash they will rob u
