I
DO
NOT
recommend
Dr.
Slade
because
she
is
negligent
and
unethical.
I
asked
her
to
update
my
crown
from
9
years
ago
because
it
was
old.
I
had
no
issues
with
the
tooth.
Unfortunately
Dr
Slade
improperly
did
my
crown
TWICE
by
cutting
off
too
much
when
fitting
it
which
caused
a
gap
between
the
adjacent
tooth.
As
a
result,
I
experienced
significant
issues
daily
(pain,
sensitivity,
gum
inflammation,
odor,
food
impaction)
from
Her
negligence.
She
did
not
take
accountability
and
dismissed
my
concerns
multiple
times
as
if
I
was
wrong.
she
gave
multiple
asinine
and
illogical
excuses
despite
her
mistake
being
very
evident.
At
one
point,
She
unethically
diagnosed
me
with
needing
a
root
canal
because
of
tooth
sensitivity
she
caused.
She
gave
this
recommendation
because
she
refused
to
accept
that
she
botched
my
crown.
She
tried
to
pressure
me
to
get
a
root
canal
even
after
I
told
her
my
symptoms
didn't
start
until
she
improperly
did
my
crown.
Eventually
Dr
Slade
redid
my
crown
and
all
the
symptoms
went
away.
However,
she
made
the
SAME
MISTAKE
AGAIN
on
the
same
tooth
but
this
time
it
was
on
the
opposite
side
of
the
tooth.
Her
negligence
caused
me
to
have
some
issues
on
that
side
of
the
tooth.
I
received
a
2nd
opinion
from
an
outside
dentist
who
said
that
I
didn't
need
a
root
canal
and
acknowledged
the
improperly
fitted
crown.
Dr
Slade
tried
to
make
me
get
an
unnecessary,
expensive,
invasive
root
canal
that
wouldn't
have
resolved
my
tooth
concerns
she
caused
because
what
I
needed
was
a
proper
crown.
I
requested
Dr
Mano
to
redo
my
crown
because
Dr
Slade
already
botched
it
twice.
Dr
Mano
praised
Dr
Slade's
work
on
the
second
botched
crown
which
was
inappropriate
and
unwarranted,
especially
since
I
remained
objective
during
the
consult.
Dr
Mano
said
she
could
expand
the
margins
of
the
new
crown
but
could
not
ensure
that
she
could
fix
the
issue
Which
is
ridiculous
because
it’s
a
fixable
issue.
not
being
able
to
fix
a
problem
your
dentist
caused
is
unacceptable.
Similarly
to
Dr
slade,
Dr
Mano
provided
asinine
and
illogical
excuses
for
Slade's
negligence
despite
me
telling
her
that
ortho
and
an
outside
dentist
acknowledged
an
issue
with
my
crown.
When
I
challenged
the
inaccuracy
of
her
excuse,
she
made
up
a
different
excuses.
The
night
before
my
appointment
with
Dr
Mano
to
redo
my
crown,
the
office
manager
contacted
me
on
Dr
Mano's
behalf
to
cancel
my
appointment
because
she
now
thought
"nothing
was
wrong
with
it"
after
speaking
to
another
dentist
despite
initially
acknowledging
there
was
a
small
gap
on
the
back
side
of
the
crown.
They
refunded
my
money
and
I
went
elsewhere
to
get
it
fixed.
It
was
a
huge
hassle
to
get
them
to
refund
my
insurance
their
portion.
Lastly,
this
office
billed
my
insurance
for
an
x-Ray
when
Slade
redid
the
crown
and
the
consults
I
received
to
fix
the
crown.
Interestingly,
the
cost
of
the
consults
were
different
even
though
they
were
the
exact
same
service.
Essentially,
They
got
paid
to
address
the
mistake
they
created!
Me
nor
my
insurance
should
have
to
pay
for
corrective
services.
The
office
was
to
submit
the
claim
to
my
insurance
as
a
no
service
fee
bill.
I
didn’t
get
a
response
from
the
office
when
I
requested
this
be
rectified.
If
you
decide
to
receive
any
service
that
requires
drilling
from
Dr
slade,
be
sure
to
check
the
back
of
your
tooth
for
unnecessary
gaps
or
ask
her
assistant
Marie
to
do
the
crown
fitting
because
she
does
it
properly.
If
you
have
an
issue
with
a
dentist,
you
won’t
receive
any
support
from
Dr.
Mano
so
go
to
the
other
head
dentist.
On
a
separate
unrelated
matter,
I
recommend
You
request
an
itemized
receipt
or
an
estimate
of
service
agreement
form
to
cross
reference
with
your
insurance
billing
statements
to
make
sure
you
have
not
been
overcharged.
I
was
overcharged
multiple
times
and
did
not
realize
it
until
I
reviewed
my
insurance
statements.
The
issue
was
quickly
resolved
by
both
office
managers
when
I
brought
it
to
their
attention.
