I, as someone who studies history, and loves archeology, I would not suggest going. Rather than paying 4€ per person to see a single room with mediocre paintings and broken rocks in a small room with workers who shadow your every movement like vultures, you can instead go to Kronos and get two delicious scoops of ice cream in the nice hot Greek weather.

It's enough to see the Ottoman mosque from outside. Inside, there are good pieces but doesn't worth the entrance fee.

a small medival-byzantine museum with engravings from the castles and byzantine icon paintings (some of them very nice if you are into this kind of painting). it is housed in beautiful ottoman mosque. a nice place to visit unfortunately no photos are allowed. Photos are not just a touristic action its an essential part of a museum visit. The people in charge of the museums in greece have to be forced to understand that the exhibits are not theirs to keep and "rule" but part of the (world) cultural heritage.

Not much to see and no photos allowed. There was little in English and no information sheets. Not good value at €4 for 10 seconds of entertainment.

Small museum (it's only one room) and not very interesting. The exhibits themselves aren't much but there are some imformational signs explaining the history and culture of the island. At least it's free for university students and some other categories of people. But keep in mind that there is a no photo policy.

Only good to see from outside. Entrance price is 4 eur per person and it is not worthed at all. They only have descriptions in Greek and they do not bother to say it before you got the tickets.

(Translated by Google) It is a pity that Mecidiye mosque is a Byzantine museum and there is not a mosque to be prayed on the island of Chios. There is also a sundial at the back diagonal corner of the fountain in the glass garden.

(Translated by Google) If you are not very museum or archeology enthusiast, it is not worth to enter 4 euros per person. There is nothing but a few remnants exhibited in a single room. The museum building is an old Ottoman mosque. (Original) Eğer çok müze veya arkeoloji meraklısı değilseniz adam başı 4 euro verip girmeye değmez. Tek bir odada sergilenen bazı kalıntılardan başka birşey yok. Müze binası eski bir osmanlı camii.

(Translated by Google) It is a mosque built by Sultan Abdülmecid Han. The mosque, the construction of which started at the beginning of the pier, was completed in 1847. During the Tanzimat process, Sultan Abdülmecid visited Chios in the Aegean islands in 1850 and visited this mosque built for his own name and went to Çeşme from here.   According to the state records of 1894, there were nine mosques, two madrasahs, three lodges, ninety-eight churches, a monastery, two synagogues, two baths and eighteen fountains on the island. Ottoman works on the island were left unattended with the exchange process. Today, there are eight mosques, a masjid, a lodge, three baths, a public fountain and an inn in Chios.

(Translated by Google) One of the only works left from the Ottomans. It is so well preserved and in such a good condition that perhaps this land would not have been in the hands of the Ottomans. The fact that it is operated as a banana must be entirely from the psychology of the years of mubadele. (Original) Osmanlidan kalan yegane eserlerden biri.
