Amazing cheap meze in the heart of Chios Castle. I got the fried calamari, the tyrokafteri, and melitzanosalata, and all three were excellent, both individually and paired together. The English descriptions for items can be a bit vague because they are direct translations from Greek, so make sure to ask about food items if you are confused.

Delicious fresh food, friendly staff and pieceful athmosphere, we always enjoy being here. Highly recommendation, especially for the Kafenes salad and the calamari.

We loved the food and the coziness of this restaurant. It is one of the tree restaurants in a garden-like city square. Very peaceful. We liked the Greek salad, saganaki, fava, and kalamari. Reasonable price.

Just inside the old walled city is this great bar and restaurant to relax in. Only pedestrian traffic which adds to the atmosphere. Good Greek staples to share along with cold local beer. A great place to hideaway in during the heat of the day.

Great atmosphere in the evening- quiet and peaceful. Friendly service and very good prices in my opinion. We ate here on our first and last nights on the island- came back because we loved it so much. Far more relaxed and felt more authentic than the touristy places on the port!

Nice location. Food is okay but not exceptional. Heavily overpriced. We were also treated like second class guests. Others were served first, out order was incomplete. Exoect extraordinary delays and inconsistency
