One of the loveliest experiences I’ve had, firstly the staff are so wonderful, attentive and friendly. They went above and beyond to make our experience so lovely. The food was absolutely incredible, the lamb crops were tender and the ribs are so flavoursome. The lamb betyi was incredible, everything was full of flavour and the portion sizes were great. Very family friendly and great dining in experience

Fresh tasty food. Excellent customer service, the staff are so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The lunch time special menu offers absolutely outstanding value for money. They have good options for vegetarians. There is a function room for hire downstairs. I eat here regularly and really love it. The price of the lunchtime special has not increased and really is a fantastic option. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.

Some of the chicken was a little overdone, but customer service was great and everyone was friendly/approachable. Would recommend the swordfish for anyone a little hesitant on the seafood section: I normally hate seafood, but had nothing bad to say about this dish. Would recommend and visit again.

We had a wonderful time at the restaurant, from we entered until we left. The young man from India who served us was very kind and attentive and entertaining to my 4-year-old God daughter. I would surely recommend this restaurant, value for money and very tasty meals.

Mekan has a restaurant and a function room in the basement. The function room has a bar which only takes cash.The restaurant is quite spacious clean beautifully decorated. The food nice good sizes portions. Staff are pleasent.

Tasty and plentiful. They were happy to accomodate us outside as we had a dog so did not see the inside. We shared the Mekan Mixed Grill between 3 which was more than enough! The Acili Ezme was very good. Would return.

Came here after attending a baby dedication. We sat downstairs as there was quite a few of us. To make things easier, platters were ordered for each table, they came with mountains of different meats and rice underneath. Very very tasty. However, the cocktail I had was warm, no ice whatsoever. Not used to that especially when it was just made and the day was nice and hot. Maybe, I just might be used to the cocktails in the city. But it was way to warm for me to enjoy. That's the only reason 1* is missing. Other than the cocktail everything else was great, would eat here again but order a soft drink next time.

Lovely restaurant and club. The food is worth every penny, good service the staff are pleasent. The prices are reasonable the restaurant is beautifully decorated. There is a club downstairs for private function pay cash only bar that's my downfall no card payment. No parking you would have to park on the side roads.

Used to come here often when I worked in the town hall round the corner. It was really good. Today was passing by and got a takeaway. It was brilliant and the Mrs loved the food from here, her first time. Food, portion size, taste and cs were spot on.

Visited here yesturday for a surprise 60th birthday, and what more can I say besides lovely cooked delicious food and amazing/friendly staff. Staff were very attentive to our table of 21 and we had such a fantastic time!! Thankyou 😁

Great food and for our weekly restaurant tours that my brother and I do every Sunday by visiting different restaurants we have to say that this was the first restaurant in which all the menu items we had has exceeded our expectations. We had the grilled chicken wings,lamb meatballs, olives, and prawns which were very very delicious as appetisers. He had the grilled salmon with potato’s and I had lamb chops with rice. The portions were huge, our waiter was very pleasant. Will definitely be back in about 3 months as we travel around London visiting other restaurants.

Only one waiter running look after a dinner party of 20 peoples, plus a private function of 100 people downstairs. Food was late, orders taking wrongly or incomplete. Starters and mains coming out together, some people while eating their starter was presented with their main. A total shambolic night which could have been better if the management and catering where to run their businesses properly i.e. get more staff when having two large functions on the same night. The waiter tried his best to accommodate the errors made.

This place will give you the best food you can eat and best hospitality you’ll desire !! We had our sons 5th birthday party and we enjoyed the time there - they have dj set area for you to plug your own dj or play your own music and it’s very private 2 !! Thanks Mekan for making our party special

Service was poor. Was not asked if we wanted the dessert menus. We were not asked if we were enjoying our meal. The waiters were not attentive. I kept having to repeat my requests to the waiter who kept forgetting to bring things over like the water for the table, my juice, bread and containers for taking our food away. We were not even left complimentary sweets after settling the bill. Felt pretty invisible. I bet they would have noticed if we all got up and left without paying!

Amazing food AMAZING hospitality Amazing evening. The manager was extremely accommodating to us and made us feel very comfortable. Drinks were good I look forward to my next visit. The portion sizes are huge.

We came here for a friend's birthday and the food was lovely. The staff were very helpful and polite, one of them showed us downstairs where they were having a birthday party. They has set the room up so well, the tables looked fabulous. Very professional. We will definitely be going back.

I enjoyed the calamari, as it was lightly battered and had a good crisp. The lamb adana was OK, seasoned well but nothing to rave about. The rice was disappointing, which is quite upsetting as I had expected more from this place from my colleagues reviews. They provided bread, I feel I remembered this the most as it was bake nicely and came out warm! Also the min lemonade drink was tasty.

Genuinely friendly staff. Great service. The meal was spot on and I adore the salad. My friend enjoyed it too, especially the red wine. Not sure of the name but it was served in a nice wine glass. It makes all the difference, the attention to detail. I will go back soon.

Absolutely brilliant time for my dads birthday. We hired the room downstairs and the staff were very attentive, the food was beautiful and plentiful and it was a great vibe. Thanks so much
