The temple is one of the 108Divya Desams and wonderfully maintained. It is one of the beautiful temples I have ever visited. We visited the temple on 29/6/2022 and it was cool and drizzling. The temples closes at 11 am so plan to visit before if you are planning a morning visit. Offering darpanam to deceased ancestors here is considered as holy as offering it in Kasi. You can take bath in the river and change clothes. There are clean restrooms available. We went by govt bus from guruvayur to kuttipuram bus stand and then took an auto from there. While returning there were frequent buses to kunnamkulam which 7 kms from guruvayur so we took a bus to kunnamkulam and another bus from kunnamkulam to guruvayur. The travel was scenic.

A shrine devoted to Vishnu on the banks of bharatapuzha. The temple also serves as a place to spread ashes of deceased people. With a rich history and a great ambiance, the temple and surroundings are worth a visit if you come here. Remember to get dhoties too because the temple doesn't permit wearing of pants/western clothes for males

Many temples are there in malappuram before mappila lahala or kalabham, Only few temples has been left after that movement. This temple and the outside area is showing the old god's own country (Kerala) marks.

Temple is maintained well. There are free toilet facilities just outside temple. Place to keep your chappal and belonging at low rates. Car parking is not available near temple, but in both sides of the main road 100 meters from temple.

The place is known for "Bali darpan" where it have thrimoorthi sangamam. It is available in all days. You have to take prior ticket before Bali darpan and sometimes you have to wait 30 minutes to get into your turn. All the things and instructions will be given by the authorised people. They will also provide free breakfast and lunch for the devotees.

Most serene and peaceful place in Thirunavaya. This temple is located along the banks of Bharatha puzha. The staff is organised and helpful. The temple festival is going on till April 22/24( not sure about the exact last date). There is also bali idal facility in this temple. There is a separate counter for all enquiries and services for bali idal karmam.

Tirunavaya Temple is a serene ancient Hindu temple in central Kerala, India, by the Bharatappuzha River. Dedicated to Navamukundan (Narayana-Vishnu), it's revered in ancient Tamil hymns. The Temple complex is intricately designed. Enclosed by a wall, it houses various structures and the temple's architecture, with granite base, laterite superstructure, and terracotta roof, is adorned with intricate carvings. Lamps adorn the outer walls during festivals. It's advisable to plan your visit in the morning (between 05:00 am to 10:00 am) or in the late afternoon (between 04:00 pm to 07:00 pm) to avoid the midday heat. However, do check for any specific timings or restrictions related to temple visits, as they may vary. Additionally, consider avoiding major festival days for a quieter experience.
