Good ale outlet. Very impressed with the quality of ale and fittings. The owner knows his beer and is enthusiastic about his business. As is usual with these micro pubs, don't expect food other than small snacks. But if you want ale, try it.

Went again the other day, as I had got sober waiting for a pint in the shepherds hall. I was served as I entered, and greeted with a smile and amazing service. The ale was refreshing and they recovered my buzz back with no time to spare. So happy chorley has so many amazing pubs like this. 🥳🥳

In incredible range of cask ales. Totally unique micro pub. Definitely a labour of love with a passion for ales and trains . Even a live link to the train times for the station. Will definitely be going again next time I'm in the town

Cosy bar, good wine selection along with interesting local and national beers. Any ale buff should note the dedication to serving traditional English Pale Ale, we used to call it a pint of Bitter. Knowledgeable staff.

Found the drinks we had quite expensive, but maybe should have asked the price before ordering. Nice clientele. Maybe would not use again, but the place is nicely set out and comfortable.
