First time visit here. A very pleasant spot in Whittle-le-Woods. There is a good selection of breakfast items, snacks and drinks. We had the afternoon tea that consisted of a pot of tea and miniature ice cream cornet. Savories included English onion soup, cheese and chutney, egg mayonnaise and ham sandwiches along with crisps and homemade coleslaw. Sweets consisted of caramel and berry slice, pumpkin muffin, shortbread biscuit and scone, jam and vanilla cream. Booking is required. The staff were very friendly and efficient. Disabled access and facilities are available.

We recently had a lovely afternoon tea with around 40 friends celebrating a bride to be. The food was fresh and delicious. Everything was set up beautifully and the atmosphere was just right. They are able to cater for most dietary needs very well. Me and my friend asked for glutenfree and dairyfree in advance. Our 3 tier stand had scone & jam, cakes and jelly, with sandwiches, crisps, salad and coleslaw on the bottom. The sandwiches were lovely, the meringue and chocolate delicious and filling. It was so nice to not feel left out when everyone else is eating delicious things. Everyone was offered boxes to take leftovers home. They served pots of tea and cafetiere coffee, decaf available, it came with tiny ice cream cones for those able to have wheat, (we had gf/df biscuits which were a bit of a let down). There's parking on the front for a few cars but it's limited in the local area, so lifts were organised. Recommended.

I've been here before and it never disappoints. The quality and assortment of the sandwiches and cakes is brilliant, especially when you have children with you. Their children's variety is amazing and my daughter enjoyed her very first afternoon tea. Thank you for accommodating my pram as well in such a tight space. We really appreciated it. The atmosphere is lovely and the decor is homely. Very friendly staff who are very hospitable. Thank you again for the lovely experience x

    1) The food was fresh and wholesome. Everything tasted like it had been prepared at home. Even the side salad was fresh and tasty. The Scones were better than other high end afternoon teas we have had in Manchester and London. Even the tea was properly brewed. A real pleasure and some real attentiontion to detail. 2) The decor was relaxing and the place felt loved. The China cups made me feel like I was in Mary poppins lol. 3) The price. An absolute bargain for the quality of food provided.

Absolute gem of a place! They do a really cute tea pot of juice and children's afternoon tea. Also, they cater really well for gluten and dairy free diets. Definitely recommend and will most certainly be back again.

We had afternoon tea for 2 - took our own Tupperware for leftovers as advised on Facebook pages and glad we did! Delicious food served in a very friendly atmosphere. Saw others order toasties and pie, all of which looked and smelled lovely. Shame we don’t live a bit closer!

Afternoon Tea is delicious and generous ,scrumptious cakes & scones and the constant top ups of our tea pots made it feel like a long and leisurely treat. The room itself is beautiful and the staff are excellent.. We’ll be back.

I visited with my mum yesterday, I can highly recommend the jacket potatoes if you fancy something different for lunch, very delish and a little different from your normal jacket potatoe, lovely little tea rooms you will not be disappointed, we just turned up and we was lucky they had availability so may be good to book in advance. If you like afternoon tea and you have a special occasion coming up this is the best place to go.

We visited here on 9th March for afternoon tea. I can honestly say we were not disappointed. A lovely freshly made selection of sandwiches, cakes and a scone with jam and cream. A nice touch was the constant attention by the staff with nothing being too much trouble. Also refilling you're coffee or tea which you don't often see. It was my wife's birthday and you certainly made it special . We were the first to try the mini trifles served with the afternoon tea and they were exceptional. I would recommend you book a table as it was busy when we went at 1pm. Will definitely be visiting again.

Lovely little tearoom, great atmosphere, fantastic customer service and food is very reasonably priced. Came today and was told about the vegan options available upon arrival. I had a delicious sandwich which came with salad and crisp. I have also attended the tea room on previous occasions for baby showers/events and can also highly recommend the vegan afternoon tea! Thank you for a lovely afternoon.

Brilliant afternoon tea, soup delicious, scone yummy, service great 👍 I've had an afternoon tea at Raffles Hotel in Singapore and the afternoon tea at The Vintage Tea Room knocked spots off Raffles! Thanks Ladies 😋

I have been several times and it is my favourite place to go. Huge range of gorgeous freshly baked cakes. The afternoon tea is really wonderful. The ladies have gone above and beyond to help accommodate me with my many food intolerances. I truly appreciate them. Thank you ❤️

It was quite busy. Gave notice that I was vegan, mini mince pie on arrival which was lovely. Soup and vegan cheese sandwich which was also lovely, then a blueberry scone and jam. I was a little disappointed not to have plant based butter or cream with it but overall a nice experience

Absolutely beautiful afternoon tea with my Mum and two gorgeous nieces, one of which goes back to New Zealand on Saturday . Homemade cakes and sandwiches and the tiny ice cream cone you get with your tea cup was such a delightful treat. Second time here but will definitely not be our last. Thank you Whittle tea Rooms. Would advise booking as it is always busy.

Had a mini afternoon tea, and there's nothing mini about it, lovely big portions and it's all beautifully presented and it's gorgeous food, really enjoyed it, the picture shows one sandwich but you get two, highly recommended 😋

My friends and I booked last minute and were delighted they had room to seat 5 people at 12pm on a Sunday. We were all impressed with the numerous cakes to choose from, as well as the beautiful decor inside. I visit tea rooms frequently and it's rare to find a place that sells hot vimto, but offering an entire pot of hot vimto was impressive. With each drink, came a delicious heart-shaped shortbread, which I thoroughly enjoyed (surprising as I'm not a fan usually of shortbread). All of us tried a different cake or scone with a pot of tea/vimto, we left happy and determined to return.
