Great find whilst wandering around Chorley on a Sunday afternoon. Could possibly describe the decor as traditional and industrial. There was a really good selection of real ales, plus cider, various wines, gins, and fresh coffee available. Friendly and helpful staff.

Lovely staff, friendly atmosphere, and an ever changing roster of interesting cask beers. Nice wine selection. Very reasonable pricing strategy. They like a move around, furniture wise. Just like your lounge.

What a great place and a cracking lad behind the bar, very friendly and informative. Top variety of great ales. Worth a visit or 2.

Great place with really helpful staff, great drinks and lovely atmosphere. The little room 2 space they reserved for our group was much appreciated.

What a fantastic place! Never had such good service by lovely, welcoming &:super efficient staff. Had no sooner walked in when our orders were taken. Great atmosphere & quirky decor. Thank you for making our school reunion 'do' even more special!

Great place! I spent one afternoon here on my visit to Chorley and everyone was so very nice to me. The staff and customers were so friendly and very chatty. It seemed like everyone knew each other, or if they didn't, they all just wanted to contribute to the convivial atmosphere. I kinda felt bad I didn't have enough time to talk to everyone, and didn't get a chance to go back another day. Perhaps I'll get another chance - would love to stop in and say hi again.

Excellent craft & traditional cask ales. Friendly staff. Quite a large bar as it was extended last year. Lots of comfy seating & very clean. A great place to have a beer & a natter.

Lovely friendly place. Joe Barman is very accommodating and goes all out for his customers. Fun place with lots of friendly Banter. Glass Pinot Grigio reasonably priced and good quality! Definitely worth a visit.

. The relaxed atmosphere and honest intentions of this independent bar were poorly matched by a rude bar manager . A family member was spoken to so disrepectfully today when asking for something at the bar we needed to leave. Would not recommend . Very unpleasant experience.

Great place to visit with a selection of great ales, wines and spirits. Plenty of things on all week round including game nights, quiz nights and live music. Friendly staff and crowd and ideally situated for a drink close to the bus station or train station. Recently been on a few pub coach trips organised by the staff here and they've been excellent. Would highly recommend this venue.

An absolute gem! A great selection of beers, ciders and coffee (I would go here rather mainstream coffee shops to be honest). Lovely atmosphere (there was a group of musicians practicing when we first went), friendly bar staff and friendly patrons.

Great little big bar in town centre, nearest and best to bus and train stations, on a par with sams bar for situation and prices🍻🥂👍👍

Best pub in chorley. Excellent selection of ales, wines and spirits. Service is always warm, welcoming and efficient. Chorley wouldn’t be the same without it!

This is a great indie pub. Lovely atmosphere but it's all about the cask ale. Definitely unique and worth checking out

Always busy and always has some of the best keg and cask in town. Used to be a micro pub, which I did prefer. Now it's more of a normal pub/wine bar with a vault. But at least getting a seat is easier now. 😂

Great place. I had a pint of lager and it was one of the best pints I have ever had. Really smooth pint and tasted delicious. If u want some really good ales is well they sell them and they are brilliant

Loved this new layout! Used to call into the original bar and always friendly with great ales, this new addition of Victoria Rooms (great monicker) is welcome and the atmosphere was brilliant, noisy with conversation not blaring rubbish for a very refreshing change.usual good selection of well kept ales. Liked the layout too. Very open fluid and easy to navigate, bar area about face very good idea. Does away with all that pre1914 queueing garbage. Table service quick and very pleasant staff, quick delivery and machine payments eradicate the till thing, it's the future....... We'll be back....

I do like it here, but the cask beers (I guess as every cask ale outlet), but they always seem to be running out of that "particular" order every other pint drink . Plus the number of times we've been given the wrong drink, one too many, one missing, beer instead of wine (combinations of this) it's once a week! Great location though 👌

Nice friendly place, been wanting to visit it for long time, at the time I was in, fri afternoon full off men but as a female didn't get no bother from them but would suggest entering via the adjoining tearooms to avoid simultaneous head swiveling on entering. The barman Alex was SUPER nice, friendly & welcoming and knowledgeable about the drinks on offer, helpful and engaging with customers, deco was rustic and charming with a miscellaneous array of seating to suit anyone, all in all great little bar, great service, great drinks on offer and lovely friendly, welcoming, recommend you go try it 👍

On a quiet Tuesday night when a lot of pubs in Chorley were shut the Sheps Hall had a great atmosphere. The diversity of ages and backgrounds of the customers cannot be matched, all sharing the space in their different ways. I no longer live in Chorley and loved the bigger space and new decor. Oh and most importantly the beer was great
