We
stayed
at
Park
Hall
for
one
night
away
on
a
Groupon
deal.
As
soon
as
we
parked
and
got
out
of
the
car
we
smelt
a
horrible
strong
smell
of
petrol.
We
checked
into
the
room
but
the
room
smelt
of
petrol
and
it
was
giving
me
a
headache
so
we
decided
to
go
to
reception
to
see
if
we
could
change
rooms
.
We
saw
a
lady
called
Emma
who
was
acting
Manger
for
the
evening
and
she
apologised
for
the
smell
and
explained
it
was
the
boiler
and
that
rooms
on
the
first
floor
would
have
this
issue.
She
changed
our
room
to
the
second
floor,
away
from
the
boiler,
she
gave
us
complimentary
drinks
in
the
bar
and
even
arranged
for
a
bottle
of
wine
with
our
meal.
She
was
amazing!!
The
hotel
should
think
about
promoting
her
to
Manager
(rather
than
acting)
she
was
so
pleasant
and
friendly
and
couldn't
do
enough
for
us.
We
had
an
unexpected
situation
in
the
restaurant
later
in
the
evening
but
the
staff
were
all
so
friendly
and
helpful
we
had
a
little
giggle
about
it
later
and
also
at
breakfast!
(you'll
not
forget
that
one!!)
The
staff
and
cleanliness
and
food
quality
do
this
hotel
credit!
We
had
such
a
lovely
stay
such
that
we
are
going
back
mid-Christmas
to
have
a
little
"us
time"
and
staying
in
such
a
friendly
and
comfortable
hotel.
Management
need
to
sort
the
boiler
situation
as
I
am
sure
more
people
would
love
to
stay
there
and
maybe
haven't
said
anything
about
it.
