I've stayed many times and always been very happy with rooms, breakfast and staff so it's disappointing to have to give a bad review on this occasion. I understand its half term and pressure is on but when paying nearly £90 fro one night and breakfast you sort of expect better. The duvet cover had some red sticky substance on it and the bed was very sqeeky. Breakfast was not great at all the table hadn't been cleaned, the coffee machine was broke, there was no pancakes and the hot food was cold. I'm glad I'm just staying the one night this time and not my usual 3.

The hotel is extremely warm, to the point where it's impossible to sleep, the general attitude at the reception is basically 'I don't care' the pub is quite dirty but the staff there are at least friendly, would I stay here again? No, was it worth over £100 a night? Absolutely not. If you like a good customer experience and a good nights sleep, look elsewhere 👍🏼

Clean, friendly and welcoming. A few changes due to Covid but still a great place for breakfast. Decor perhaps getting a little dated but other than that three all you can eat full English and Continental breakfast including drinks for £28.00.. can't be bad. Served up to 11:00..

I did enjoy stay at this hotel. I stayed two nights, two different rooms but due to work not because the hotel. Both rooms were good but I have to say that the first one to me made feel all the best. This was room No160, very silent, the curtains could cover completely the outside light, good size, good bathroom. I would say if I had stayed only the first night I would rate it 5 stars. ... and the breakfast, just perfect, a taste for everyone.

We stay at this Premier Inn in Christchurch East regularly, at leat twice a year, every year, when we visit family and friends AND Sammy Millers Motorcycle Museum close by. We always choose this Premier Inn as it’s reasonably priced, and close to three very popular restaurant chains as well as all the large shops. We find the staff very friendly and accommodating, nothing is too much trouble for them, the rooms are very clean and well looked after, with plenty of tea, coffee, milk etc…. with a “just help yourself” policy . When we arrived this time there was even an unexpected welcome pack, very thoughtful and kind. Will definitely be back in a few months time. Well done to all the staff.

I have stayed at this particular Premier Inn several times over the last few years with my wife. I am pleased to say that each time has been as expected, being reasonably priced and a relatively convenient location. I recommend this Premier Inn and will likely stay there again in the future.

Excellent service. We checked in late but the staff member at the front was very helpful and attentive. I didn’t catch his name but he was wearing a jumper and had glasses. Even gave me extra tea and coffee for my room. Great stay

Food was good not visited for a number of years, would say it's looking a bit tired could do with a lick of paint male toilets need sorting no hand towels as the air blower was broken.

Hotel restaurant is a beefeater and we had dinner and breakfast there. Although breakfast is all you can eat it is not self service. Disappointed to find only 1 bath towel for 2 people in our room and I know I could had gone and got one but couldn't be asked after our very long tiring day and all we wanted was our bed. Having said that I have noticed the "1 towel per room" in other Premier Inns and I question this when the booking details show 2 people booked

We were looking for a post holiday come down and decided to stay in Bournemouth after flying home. I was really impressed with the friendliness and helpfulness of all the staff. Great customer service! Beyond that, the rooms were clean and had the usual comfort that I love about Premier Inn. It was a little further outside of Bournemouth than I had anticipated, about 25 minute drive. However, having the retail park opposite was a great bonus :) I would definitely recommend and will stay again if I find myself in that area again. Thank you!

We came to Bournemouth for breakaway. Booked 3nights in hotel. Stayed 2!! We had 3 beds SQUEEZED in maybe double room. From one wall was maybe 20-30cm space then bed, bed, bed and another wall.. Hot, small room, window nearly no opening, and even fan didn't help.. bathroom getting so steamy, and everything goes on the room.. tap in the bathroom splashing everywhere when trying to wash hands. And this splashed t-shirt didn't dried up in room for 2days! We brought it home still wet.. Carpets in room looking and feeling dirty, room was dark (as one tiny window), no air circulation at all. Building from outside looking quite nice, location not bad, but definitely not quality we would expect from Premier Inn. Very disappointed, not to mention waste of money..

Once you have navigated the automated check-in (you can call for assistance if needed) things will calm down. Although located quite near to a busy road the room was quiet and pleasant. The lack of air conditioning may be an issue but fans are provided. A comfortable bed, spacious bathroom... a perfectly acceptable place to stay in the area.

A fair place to stay for a couple of nights but very disappointed in the hotel reception/management. A family of 6 across two rooms, next to each other. Rooms above were thumping and crashing LOUDLY all night long and kept us awake and startled children, spoke numerous times to staff and reception who wouldn’t do anything because they hadn’t heard the noise themselves. Then offered us a room to move too which wasn’t ideal as split us up. Awful attitude towards paying guests! Rooms very warm but generally clean otherwise. Restaurant service quite slow but staff very accommodating towards changing table times and altering food for the kids and very friendly. Reception staff have let the hotel down.

I loved the rooms and the bed at this hotel, sooo spacious, clean n comfortable. All-you- can-eat breakfast the next morning really set us up for a long drive to next stop. We think Premier is a terrific overnight option! 😃

Rooms were very hot in August. Fan supplied Biggest issue: Staff were reloading the breakfast pastries using their hands no blue gloves. I stopped them and asked them to use tongs. Senior team member seen doing the same earlier.

No air conditioning, no lift. The property nedds a makeover. Very convenient location. Comfy beds as you would expect from Premier Inn.

We had a good stay for one night with no complaints at the time. But when we got home we realised we had left the laptop charger in the room. After several attempts of getting through to them on the phone, I eventually spoke to someone and they confirmed we had left the charger. They asked me to send a self addressed envelope with postage, and they would return it. I got this sorted to then had a phone call whilst on holiday, 15th August, saying they now could not find the charger and wanted the make and model of the laptop so they could order one for us. Unfortunately because we were away I couldn't give him the information at the time. I said I would call back when I returned home. Since then I have tried calling and no one answers, can't leave a message and no email address to even email them. I have now logged a complaint via the online feedback form but can take up to 10 days to respond and the queue to get to speak to someone on the phone is long!!. Why is there no voice message service so I can leave a message at the hotel or even an email address? Extremely poor service and very disappointed.

Rooms clean and tidy perfect nights sleep, just a shame there wasn't many hotel staff to hand and was having to press a buzzer. It's not overly straightforward when self service. Really need staff members on the reception desk as it seemed when they finally came out to assist they couldn't be bothered to help.

Booked in for a weekend to go to a friends party. Nice location for us to get to party at to have a look around local towns. Rooms are what you would expect from a premier inn. Nice and clean and no fuss. Breakfast is extra at 9.99 and not a bad selection to eat

We arrived at 5 minutes to 3 and a member of staff told us that we would have to pay £10 in order to check in. The staff weren't very friendly or enthusiastic to help. This kind of put us off of this hotel. The rooms are nice and the view is okay but they are quite stuffy. The parking is good as there are lots of spaces. This hotel is opposite a retail park and has a playpark nearby. There is quite a lot of parking and is free for people with a disabled badge. The breakfast deal is very good value, especially if you have kids. Also, the restaurant at dinner was nice and the atmosphere was nice.

Stayed in this hotel for an evening out in Bournemouth. Location is good for us, as one of our group was designated driver, but probably not practical for a boozy night on the town. The hotel itself is in need of a makeover - it was looking well used. Size-wise the room was ok and the bed was comfy. There were USB sockets next to the bed instead of standard plug sockets. The main problem was that there was no air conditioning. The room was quite warm, and even though they provided a fan, it didn't work well.

Only issue with room was the heat as there's no AC, the windows have opening restrictions for safety and the unprecedented September heatwave meant a sun low enough to penetrate the room all afternoon. Very helpful reception staff and brilliant location at the top of the Mude Valley nature reserve, leading to the sea (If you're able to walk a few km of course)

Another great stay at a Premier Inn. Clean room, nice staff. Would start giving 5 stars, if only you would start a reward scheme (like many of your rivals) for non business, frequent users.

Genuinely forgettable experience, place was quite modern at the reception area with electronic check in, meaning there was nobody at the desk, room was an alright size, the cleanliness left a lot to be desired- as nobody around on the desk for me to mention it to it went uncleaned but there was blood on the wall in the bathroom and a strange stain on the carpet and a weird lingering damp smell probably coming from the bathroom that did not demist for 24 hours after a shower. The one redeeming feature of this hotel is the beefeater attached to it which is lovely for food!

Quiet, comfortable and a great location for us as it is slap bang in the middle of where our family live. Room was a little small but we were only sleeping there so not a drawback. Would happily use this hotel again. Be aware there is no lift/elevator so ask for a ground floor room if you have difficulty lugging heavy bags up a flight of stairs. The attached Beefeater restaurant serves good food and staff were most helpful and friendly.

An over night stop here at Premier Inn christch East. Much cheaper than the other, which is closer to the centre of Christchurch hence why we stayed here. About 1.5mile walk into town. Rooms good, staff very polite and very close to bye pass for you're journey. Worth staying here? Yep, if you don't mind a small walk.

I always enjoy staying in premier inn. I did sleep well, but have to say, room we stayed in looked quite tired. The mattress was ok, but softer than other premier inn’s I’ve stayed in. Lights weren’t that bright, 1 in bathroom wasn’t working. No usb sockets to charge phone. On the whole happy, with quality of sleep and would definitely stay here again 👍🏻

Absolutely fine except there was a mix up at check-in so I had to prove I had paid the bookings before they would let me in. Complicated and very unpleasant. Managed in the end by showing the relevant bank statements. Since I booked with them direct months previously, this was completely unexpected.

Hotel rooms starting to show their age. Mould build up on the bathroom ceiling. We found an old sock and M & M's on the floor. Not the best however you cannot knock the price and location for the beach.

We used an accessible room due to my wife being a wheelchair user. Nice sized room and very well equipped wet room, only thing we noted was the very tight turn into the wet room. Staff were all polite and friendly. The beefeater is very good with lovely breakfasts and excellent evening meals.

Nice Premier Inn with Beefeater. The Room was clean and good enough for 1 night stay. 2 negative notes 1 the room carpet smelled a bit stuffy like the last one room was not open in a wile and 2 one of my kids bedlinen had a yellow patch like an old stain that you can not remove. The rest was OK and clean. The Beefeater restaurant was nice and the food buffet was nice and plenty. The Location is also good just 20 min from the beach by car.

No aircon so air feels a bit stuffy, especially in the corridors where there are fewer windows. There was a standing fan in our room, presumably to help guests through the heat waves. Stayed here in September so didn't have this problem. The rooms/corridors/fittings looking a bit tired. Staff friendly. Location is good.

Having staying here many times, it is unfortunate that they have an absurdly inflexible check in procedure. Turning up at 14:52 and being told it’s £10 to check in early (a whole 8 minutes) is ridiculous. Whilst turning up at 12:00 and expecting to pay a little more is reasonable, charging £1.25 per minute at 14:52 is not. Shame that this has tarnished my stay this time.

When we entered the car park, we found a space straight away. We can’t fault the staff at all! When we turned the corner to head to our room, we smelled a chemical smell it was also in our room. We had a great sleep, bed was very comfortable. At about 6.00am we heard a lorry pulling in, that woke us all up. We went to breakfast, the food was tasteless. Again, we can’t fault the staff at all!

Room very tired in decoration. Mould in bathroom, bathroom fan incredibly noisy, room drab and needs facelift. Heating broken so room was freezing, in December this is a disgrace to let out a room with no heating. Corridors heavily stained carpets. 2 other guests complained their rooms were not hoovered. Service at check in very slow. Complained about heating, they just said sorry.

Lovely restaurant and nice food. The rooms are nice but extremely hot even using the fan provided didn't help.Shame the aircon doesn't work.

  • 1/5 Courtney P. 10 months ago on Google
Didn't get 1 bit of sleep, didn't tell us there was no air conditioning till we paid in full, was hot and stuffy all night the fan was pefetic didn't help atall just blew hot air around the room was probably better of sleeping in the car for £157 for one night

The restaurant is spacious and the food is very good in a very relaxed atmosphere. staff were very good I was impressed. Also nice seating area outside where you can enjoy the sunshine.

  • 3/5 Asif P. 10 months ago on Google
Clean rooms and friendly staff. Retail park opposite to pick up essentials. Giving only 4 stars as there was no AC and windows barely open (even on ground floor). The other issue is very poor phone signal (used EE, not sure about others). This wouldn't have been an issue if the WiFi was good. The standard WiFi is to slowly to do almost anything but look up essential information. Premium WiFi is too pricey. Also paid for breakfast only to find out coffee machine wasn't working, and seemed like it had been out of order for a while. Resorted to instant coffee granules and hot water.

I was down for the anniversary of my partners passing to put flowers on the beach where we used to go at Hengistbury Head, the hotel as always is clean and tidy and comfortable, I forgot my headphone case and spoke to a really kind and helpful member of staff called Alex on the phone this evening who kindly offered to post them back to me and save me over £100 for a new pair of headphones. What a really kind and thoughtful thing to do and it will not be forgotten, thank you Alex
