Manny was the ultimate. He made us feel super safe - he was skilled beyond. My carried my 8 year old on his back, helped us take photos, gave us great perspective on the island, let us know important facts, gave us food recs, and was kind. Period. If you’re looking for some Action Park style adventure this is the place for you!!! They cruise you around a bunch of very bumpy, narrow, backroads. Taking you to a lot of great sites and vistas you’d spend all day hiking to. The best part of the trip is definitely the Tide Pools. It’s probably an hour of hard hiking from any point to get there, and unless you have experience off-roading you probably shouldn’t try the drive yourself. That’s why Tan Tan is great! They bring you down and back up hassle-free and you don’t have to worry about destroying your rental car!!! Watching a pig chug a beer at Dominoes was a treat. That’s where I stopped for a beer, but you can BYOB and drink the whole trip if you like. Would recommend!!! If I come back I’ll probably be in a Tan Tan truck for the next trip to the Tide Pools. Disclaimer: The driver was very experienced and I did not feel in danger at any point. That said the Jeep we were in did not have modern safety equipment.

Highly recommend Tan Tan tours!! We did a 6 hour rainforest and tide pool tour with Mario who was an amazing guide!! Mario was extremely knowledgeable, fun, and a joy to be around. He took excellent care of us during the tour and was there for us when we needed help at a later time. We can't thank him enough!! ASK FOR MARIO!!

Toothpick and Mario were great guides and the overall experience was a lot of fun. This is definitely an off road trip, which is the main reason I booked the trip. While it is bumpy, its not really bad at all. The guides know what they are doing and make the drive look easy. Very impressed😃

From scheduling to the end of the tour was 5 stars! Alex was wonderful when it came to getting us booked. King was our driver, and I must say. He was the most pleasant and knowledgeable Man for the job! We loved every minute of our tour. King would stop along the way and tell us about the trees and the fruits that grow on the island. he picked fruits for us to taste and told us what the islanders used them for. He told us about the culture and the history. We got to see the Island from the East to the West. I highly recommend this tour, it was well worth the money we spent to go. If you want to learn about the Island, I suggest you request King as your Driver. You will not be disappointed!

My girls and I had an amazing time. The views were great and our guide was very informative about the island and kept us safe during our mini hike to the tide pools which were simply breathtaking!!

If your going to St. Croix, you must take one of their Jeep tours!! Our guide and driver, Mario, treated us like family instantly and took amazing care of us throughout the whole trip!! It was one of the highlights of our whole trip!

They were not good at communicating or getting in touch with. Came to St Croix for our honeymoon and really wanted to go to the tide pools with them since we didn’t rent a vehicle. But ended up canceling bc they never were able to set anything up. They never apologized for the inconvenience to our trip

I can’t say enough amazing things about these guys !!!!….. and I didn’t even take the tour hahaha. These guys came across myself, wife, and our 3 young children stuck in the mud on an island road the day after Christmas. Not only did they try and push us out, when that was unsuccessful they drove back to town to get a chain to tow us out. They FREED us!! :) I can’t say enough about the incredible display of altruism. Humans like this make me hopeful for the future of the human race. I wish their business venture the very best! No doubt you’ll be in wonderful hands when you use Tan Tan Tours. Best experience ever!!! Devron was our guide and we literally couldn’t have been in better hands!! He was so knowledgeable about the local plants we were seeing as well as things in town and all the best spots for the best views! The ride down to the tide pools was a little scary so don’t go in thinking it’s an easy ride, but it’s worth absolutely every penny!! Make sure to bring clothes you can get dirty and wet!! We had a waterproof phone carrier too and that was perfect to get pictures!! Call in to reserve your ride and if you have a party of 4, even better because it’s cheaper when you can split the cost of the Jeep!
