Definatley a DUMP! I went on a Tuesday night and this one security guy wouldn't leave me alone. My friend complained to another guard and he said "What you don't like attention?" Place reeks of body odor and smelly weaves! Drinks are "Downtown Prices" and the place is tiny. People were smoking weed in the corner. Just a terribly ran club. Never returning!

This place is so hood complete with thugs and plus sized Mexican girls. DJ spins some current Hip Hop tunes and there's a small dance floor. Security pats everyone down and search ladies purses. A ghetto locals meat market. Take some friends in case stuff goes down and you need back up.

Diamond Jim's is a nice spot for live music. Much cleaner venue then before. Very helpful staff and really good acoustics. If I can suggest; provide more different brews on tap, like, IPA's, etc.

Not a big variety of draft beers and if you want to use your credit card, I was told that it was a $25 minimum, that's ridiculous! And the bartender was not polite nor patience despite that there was only about 5-6 other customers in there.

Comic Con Friday evening in San Diego, so I venture to Diamond Jim's in Chula Panorama for their Funny Program, and also it transforms out, I was not the only one - the area was complete, even bench stools. I've seen a great deal of real-time comedy shows this previous year, albeit in dedicated Funny Clubs so I wasn't certain what to anticipate in this setup. From the good gent functioning the door, to the bartender, to the music and also dance flooring lights the pre-show was pleasurable and also had a wonderful \"area bar\" atmosphere. I got my typical blueberry vodka\/Diet Coke at the bar. It was well poured as well as moderately valued, as well as took it to my table. The host, local Large Frog, did a terrific job, his material extremely amusing, topical, his last joke leaving me increased over with its punchline. He established the tone and also got the energy up for the show. Not featured on the expense was local comic Carlos Mendez, his timing, shipment and also self-deprecating wit something with which we can all relate. LA Comic Keenan Baker's take on partnerships and also maturing with an army papa maintained the energy up for the headliner Ace Guillen. His set was an unforeseen treat for me, combining wit and songs, my two preferred things. It takes fairly an array of talent to execute all those various genres, make them amusing and cohesive. I was sitting in the front beside a screen case so I could not see lots of others in the audience, yet I can hear them replying to the performances. All the comics were well received as well as there corresponded laughter, a few of it really, very uproarious. At one point, a guy behind me was laughing so hard he just started claiming \"quit it, quit it, please ...\" through his giggling. After the program I went to the Ladies Room, sat at the bar as well as got one more adult beverage. The bar had emptied substantially, which suggests that the majority of individuals existed especially for the Comedy Show. I do not recognize the staffing scenario at Diamond Jim's, but I believe that if they had the ability to incorporate table solution during the program it would certainly have been extremely valuable. Out of regard for the entertainers I won't leave my table to visit bench (and even the Ladies Room) throughout the show, nevertheless I absolutely would've bought a minimum of another, most likely two grown-up drinks. This will not effect my score though, it's simply a monitoring, because it was a really great show and I want to see Diamond Jim's proceed as a comedy place.

No food except for the additions to drinks. Service great on the busy loud as hell nights. Atmosphere: gots what needs to keep itself standing out.

💥Fun little dive bar 💥Great bartender Me and my wife attended a themed event that was hosted at the bar. The security was nice as well as the hosts. The atmosphere is a bit divey but in a good way. The crowd was fun and friendly. There was about four people who lost there phone that night and all four phones were returned to their owners promptly. Prices for drinks were not crazy and the bartender Severiano alonzo Sergio was extremely helpful in providing choices on different drinks. I would definitely go back for another event! 👍🏽

Not the classiest place you can frequent. Chula Vista can do better. Not female friendly.

I went there last week and was disappointed in the way I was treated. I made a request for a couple Santana songs/tipped $10.00. Waited like four songs and my request went ignored. I then left with plans of never returning. Terrible customer service!!

Been here once, had a great time, think the DJ should mix it up and play more current music with the old school stuff. I'd go again, though.
