I had my eyelash permed(lifted) and it was one of the worst ones I've had. I asked for natural curls (that's what the girl recommended to me too) but I ended up having my eyelashes curled almost 90 degrees. I waited to see if the curls soften as time passed but no, they were damaged. Some of my lashes were curled so awkwardly that they started poking my eyes. I even had to pull some out myself. I'm so disappointed by the result and upset that I have to deal with this until my lashes fall off. *You can see in the picture how my lashes were permed. They were definitely not NATURALLY curled.

I was looking for a new nail place since moving to the area and I am so glad I found Alebrijes! Sandra did a beautiful job on my nails (sculpture gel/hard gel fill manicure) and she was really careful about asking me if I had any discomfort throughout the process and making sure I was comfortable. She also did a beautiful job on the shape of my nails (I like almond shape), and made sure I liked the shape before applying color (which I did because she did a fantastic job). I love that they give you a sugar scrub for your hands after the manicure as well. The pedicure was amazing, and Jessica asked me if I wanted the sugar scrub added which I did. I definitely recommend the sugar scrub because it was amazing and smelled really nice. She was meticulous and did an amazing job of making my toes look beautiful. The inside of the shop was bright and clean and welcoming. I will definitely be going back as a regular in the future! Bonus: it is right next to a Taco Shop!

The owner and staff treated my wife terribly yesterday because she brought mistakes to the nail tech's attention. She takes pride in her nails and believes in getting her moneys worth. This place isn't cheap and she previously had issues with nails cracking and breaking to where she even bled and returned for repair. I don't know why she kept coming honestly. The nail tech this time was very inexperienced and struggled to finish. She texted me the entire time for about three hours saying how shocked she was with what was happening and how she was being gaslit and talked about. She understands Spanish, but I don't think they knew lol. She is an extremely patient person. At any time they could've canceled the service if they felt she was being difficult, but money is always most important to these shops. The nails look ok, but it took very long to get what she asked for. Looks quite simple to do, but what do I know? She used to get beautiful flawless nails done by a young girl on the other side of town with zero issues and lasted up to a month. Clearly my wife's standards are too high for them. Her cuticles are still sore from the girl drilling over them several times and she is applying neosporin with pain relief. They never once showed any concern for her pain or acknowledged how long the tech took. Several staff ganged up on her at the end and they told her don't come back. I think this is a for us by us type of place that caters more to their own. If it were me I'd sue and get my money back plus damages, but thankfully for them she's not as petty as me.

Got a gift certificate from my sister in law to this spa. I tried to make an appointment on line but it wouldn't go through. So I called and made an appointment. My technician was very quite, not really talkative. Very clean, nice facility. I had a gel manicure, and spa pedicure. The manicure was beautiful. I didn't really feel I got a good scrub down of my calluses on my feet though. I had ordered the callus remover and she forgot. I reminded her and she turned around and looked at the manager to confirm. After the manger said, yes I had ordered it, then She put the callus remover on my feet and then stuck my feet in the water straight away. I asked if that was going to be effective and she said yes. I was confused because no one had ever done that at any other salon. Besides that, they offered me water or wine, which was nice. The manager was very attentive and kind as well. I liked the way the mani pedi turned out. Very pretty and matched nicely. When I went to pay, the manager didn't know how to apply the gift certificate on their computer system. So it took a while to figure out. I had 18 dollars left over from my certificate, and she just rounded it off to 20 for my next visit. She couldn't reprint the certificate so she just signed my copy with a 20 dollar credit. It was a nice visit over all. As I'm leaving my online appointment goes through. Lol. I had to ask her if they were going to charge my card because the appointment had just gone through. She said not to worry about it, if there was any issues to come back and she'd resolve it.

Love this Salon. I go here to get my eyebrows done with Mary Falcon. Best place I've ever been to get them done. My friend had reccomended this place to me. Mary designs them perfectly with care and does not rush it. She is very kind and helpful. I also got the 24-hour lashes put on by her for this first time for an event and they were perfect. She made sure they didn't feel uncomfortable and she even helped with eyeshadow since I am definitely no pro with that. I reccomend this place for sure. Make an appointment before hand. This is a very busy Salon & for good reason.

Bad Experience I went to this place to do my nails for my bachelorette. They gave me a good service but my gelish started to peel off the next day. I sent them pictures immediately via Instagram but they did not respond, so I had to go again days after my bachelorette and show them my nails and when she took a look at them she said that she could repair them and I also told her that I sent pictures via Instagram and she told me she did see the message (but then why didn't she reply to my message) in that moment she was busy, so I tried to be empathic and I told her that I was gonna make another appointment via instagram. So I sent her a message immediately and she only replied by asking when was the day I wanted to make the appointment for my gelish and told her at what time I would like the appointment and I asked if I would have to pay again or if they would cover the service this time because the first time I went the work they had done did not last at all, and till this day as I am writing this review I have yet to receive an answer from them , I have sent her another message but they simply don’t respond!

I don't have enough time to describe my disenchantment with professionalism. In an ovation, I had an emergency and the owner, Senora Maria, made it very clear to me that she had to charge me the cost of the service which I had reserved EVEN IF I spoke on the phone 100 times before they answered, and I also called 48 hours before the day of the service. Last Saturday, March 16, 2024, I arrived for my appointment half an hour early because I was in the area and that's when I found out that they were canceling my appointment. There was no discount and nothing free for last minute cancellation. I innocently made another appointment and now I'm having trouble canceling because as always they never answer the phone and they don't have that option in the app they have. Furthermore, the employees speak badly of the clients who bring sand from the beach. And other things. The machines for the gelish are good and the employees struggle along with the clients. I have had all those experiences, but they will not see my money for such poor service.
