Really nice place to stay. I loved the decoration and the room in general. Customer service could be better, the girl at the front desk at night didn't even say hi when arriving. It is not in downtown BUT is really close to the tram station, so it is well connected

Booked thru Expedia days in advance. Arrived to find room totally uncleaned. There were crumbs and hair in the bed, handprints on the walls, stains on the sheets, etc. Immediately went to front desk to request refund and seek accommodations elsewhere. Was told I needed to ask a manager later in the day. Called later and got a manager. They told me I had to speak to the OTHER manager and I'd have to wait two days to talk to them. Waited and called again. That manager just abruptly transferred me to a random person who told me they couldn't do anything because it was an Expedia booking. I told them I'd dispute the charge and that I had pics as proof. They said they'd try to figure it out. Never heard back. Now, here I am months later, and Expedia is claiming I "used the reservation in full" when I wasn't even there for 30 mins. No money back, no help from hotel. Long story short? Disgusting hotel, incompetent staff, and lost money to add insult to injury. DO NOT BOOK HERE!!

I stayed for 5 nights at this hotel. The room was nice and clean when I entered. The staff I interacted with during my stay were nice. The only complaint I have is the lock to the bathroom door would get stuck when in lock position and the shower knob was very hard to use. They do offer breakfast for about $7 which is nice. Serving the basics like Scrambled egg, bacon, potatoes, and toast or bagel. As well as cereal, cookies, yogurt, and coffee. Over all I enjoyed my stay.

This is a nice place compared to the price given. I didn't even finish to unpack my bags and I'm already writing a review. Loby smells nice, very professional young man at the front desk. Staff is very professional. Everything about this place is nice. Room is comfortable and cozy. Nice size TV compared to other hotels and bathroom is nice. Keep the good work guys!

I loved this hotel. It was very clean and modern, all the staff was very nice. Wish it had a refrigerator and new mattresses. I thought the location was just right. Out of the business of the big city but close enough to everything. I loved the shower most of all. ๐Ÿ˜„

This hotel was very upscale. The rooms were very beautiful. The bathrooms were jaw dropping with glass doors, I loved it. The had espresso machines in the room which I also loved. The bed had a lot of pillows and I liked that. Very classy for Chula Vista had a great time.

First Trip ever to San Diego, California. Summer vacation for my 7 old month baby girl, my wife and myself after completely losing and finally repairing my home from Hurricane Ida in New Orleans, Louisiana. My Advice! Keep Looking! THIS PLACE needs to be hit Really hard with a Disinfectant Pressure Washer in all the bathrooms and the carpets hit with HOT WATER & deep cleaning disinfectant STEAMERS in Each Room. The sheets are dirty, the pillows are trash. I got a pimple on my nose, look for a different hotel. All The "nice" pictures don't ADD UP and are false! 4.5 rating??? What makes me write this feedback is especially because of my babygirl and my wife and i, are terribly Sick. My baby caught a 101 degree fever. It went down. Now she is non-stop sneezing and coughing. If my baby has to go to the Emergency Room very soon. I will not be done with this poorly maintained roach motel. I am coughing up Mucus and blood once, as big as the palm of my hand. Right Now. I do blame that dirty PORTABLE A/C unit hanging on the wall. Must be infected with bacteria, virus, live spores and mold. They hide the smell of the room leaving the window wide open and we were always outside touring to even notice. We Noticed the last few days, smells like a wet dead body. I AM NOT EXAGGERATING. HOW DIRTY CAN A ROOM BE? Left over Hair in the shower. My Point, they are not cleaning these rooms and are turning them with the hope of these pictures. MY ENTIRE FAMILY'S HEALTH WAS COMPROMISED! we are still terribly sick. Ruined the Whole California Trip. I am definitely severely infected by room #4204

This hotel is interesting. While in the rooms are very fancy and nice the bones are almost motel with windows and doors to the outside. Also giving 4 stars because they mentioned having breakfast but not that it was $6 per person until the very end. If I would have known that I would have gone across the street and enjoyed a bomb breakfast burrito every day instead of watery eggs and paper bacon for $6 per person.

Hercor Hotel. My room was very clean and comfortable. I enjoyed the dark colors in my room and felt very fancy haha. The beach is super close and though I had a plan to run in the morning, I did not follow up XD. Staff were polite and answered my calls to the front desk promptly. Only qualm was the AC that kept making loud sounds intermittently to drain water.

This is place is great in terms of pricing and is a good place to stay for a few nights. If you plan to lounge in the room and not go have fun in San Diego, this is not the right place for you. It doesn't include a fridge or microwave in the rooms, so plan accordingly to not bring leftover food back. I don't mind not having those in the rooms, but there is a microwave on the 2nd floor. The rooms are clean, and the shower is great, Love the high pressure spout hitting your body. The staff are wonderful as well, very nice people.

Scary night here. Domestic violence all night in the room next to mine. I was terrified all night. I called the front desk two times and she wouldnโ€™t bother calling the police. There is no security on sight to assist in situations like this. I did not sleep one minute all night. I was too scared. I will never stay here again. I do not feel safe. Leaving the MOTEL at 5:00 am just to get out of here!

The stay was excellent. The place itself is small but enough room for that comfortable King sized bed. What my girl liked the most was the modernised bathroom. The mirror facilitated her make up routine! Great place to spend the night! I would recommend.

Wow. What a find. I needed a staycation and this place was perfect. A block from the trolley, and everything is right there... Restaurants, shops, 7/11, liquor store, gas station, etc. The front desk guy, Axel (coolest name btw), was super friendly. The room was small. Like, just a bed and closet and small small desk. The bathroom was gorgeous though, it felt like I was showering in a 4 star hotel.

Reservation ID R352814466 I have talked to 5 different managers between the hotel and this reservation.com website and I got zero refunds. I made a reservation and it was not honored. This business is dishonest. You got the payment ($250) out if my bank account in seconds and I got no room or any benefit. I got no refunds. I want to prevent people to use Hercor hotel services. Nahomi, Axel, Luis Barrera were not helpful. They just read a script and can care less for the customers. Nahomi spent an hr. trying to fix the computer and could not give me a room, in the middle of the night, when it was already paid. I had to find another hotel at that time. Axel just read the script and denied any refund, Luis said thatโ€™s the way they work. Customers money matter but not helping them. Please, make yourself a favor and do t ever go there. Reservations.com will not do anything for you either.

Very nice staff, clean rooms, parking, breakfast, beds comfortable, just nice place all around. Rooms in front you can hear the traffic really well so I had to sleep with the bathroom fan running. The lady that does breakfast is very very nice! However it says free breakfast on website itโ€™s not free anymore and only a few bucks which is added on to your total. They donโ€™t have little refrigerators which sucks but they have water bottles at front desk which I usually got 4 a day, even would get a bottle when I was leaving to go explore the area.

Nice cozy hotel in Chula Vista. The breakfast is not included but is just $4.99 (buffet) per person. Highly recommended ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿป

Really great, with a very small deduction. We were skeptical at first because our room faced the street. However, the rooms are incredibly well insulated, so you really can't hear any traffic noise. The rooms are also beautifully furnished and elegantly equipped. A wonderful bathroom with a great shower. The breakfast room offers free fruit and snacks during the day and a small breakfast in the morning for a fee. 7eleven next door, taco stand opposite - you can stay here for a while. I would have liked a small fridge in the room. Unfortunately, it was not possible for us to cool our provisions. Fortunately, there is a 7eleven right next door, so you can get chilled drinks here at any time. I would also have appreciated a kettle, but that should not be a point of criticism.

As soon as we arrived we knew it was already a bad decision location wise Room are clean but small. They watch you like a hawk on the cameras. We came in to drop our things off bc we came to visit family we stayed in the room with the family that came with us and right away they called the room to tell us we needed to get another room because they counted 7 of us. We told them that was invasion of privacy and they had no right to tell us who could come into our room etc specially after 30 mins to 1 hour later and they where going to leave to their house in a few mins anyways. Horrible place.. we didnโ€™t leave only because I didnโ€™t want to deal with looking for another place last min and we were leaving in a few hours anyways.

I had a terrible experience with this hotel. I booked a room for the wrong date and realized my mistake soon after. I immediately contacted the hotel and requested a cancellation, but they refused to refund my deposit. Despite my explaining that it was an honest mistake and I had no intention of staying on the wrong date, they were adamant that they would not refund my money. This is a clear example of poor customer service and a complete lack of empathy for their guests. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone and would advise people to stay away from it.

This place gets the job done and it's pretty fancy in the rooms and lobby. There was a flosser and a cocktail straw on my floor so not sure how thoroughly cleaned it was but I was just there for a night so I let it go. Breakfast was terrific and a great price ($7 per adult).

The value you get from this hotel is top quality. The bathroom is well designed, water pressure for the shower is amazing, and the bed is more comfortable than what more expensive hotels offer. The buffet style breakfast is the best and will definitely save you money on other dineout options.

I went with my Wife and son and requested a king bed in a Studio Suite. the parking was small and it had a "gate" that was off next to an apartment complex it left doubt if my vehicle would be safe because anyone could walk in. This hotel basically put a bed in a closet with a table there was no room to walk or put our bags down. The bathroom was just as big but there was more room in there because there was no bed. It also stated there was no smoking but as we were walking to the room there was a man next to our room smoking a blunt. The window to our room was open so all that smell was in our room! We could not stay there we checked out. we are now fighting them with our bank because they didn't want to give us our money back. Dont stay here!

Stayed 1 night for a concert in town. Pros: No disturbances. Great shower. Cons: Beds suck. There was a hair in my toothbrush cup. Tv was difficult to use. Espresso cups were too small and spilled everywhere. Parking lot is small. Neighborhood seems questionable but we came in at 12:30am and didnโ€™t encounter any riff raff.

This is the 3rd hotel I stayed at in the past 4 days and how lucky was I to be greeted by Giselle Keller. If your visit starts with meeting her at check in youโ€™re going to have an amazing stay. The room was clean and I love the mirror in the bathroom and all the lighting in the room . Iโ€™m so glad I stayed with my first choice that area. Easy commute to everywhere

The Hercor was decent. Not amazing but not horrible. First, the bed was absolutely horrible. My husband and I kept rolling into the middle and it felt like it was broken underneath with no center support. If you sat on the edge, you sunk in like on an air mattress. They definitely need to replace it. Second, our glass wall separating the bathroom from the bedroom had finger prints all over it and so did the glass shower door. Pretty gross but also during covid, seems it wasnโ€™t cleaned. The breakfast was supposed to be free according to my booking email (it said complementary for 2 guests) but when we went to eat, the woman serving breakfast said it was $10 a person, I still have this email stating it was free but apparently it isnโ€™t. Overall, it was fine for a night but I wouldnโ€™t have been able to stay there longer than that because of the bed.

Really nice hotel! Friendly staff, easy check in! The room is really clean, nice bathroom mirror has a ring light built in. Perfect for selfies! Tons of channels on the TV. Ambient lights throughout room to accommodate whatever mood u are in! Definitely will come back!

Very nice and comfy rooms! Check in was a breeze and the front desk was very nice and knowledgeable. Only downside is our room has a glass wall separating the bathroom... and there's no sound isolation...
