It was my first time going about a week or so ago, my son raved about it because it was of "Hawaii " and he enjoyed the coffee. He took me and the first thing I said was "this is my first time here". I expected more of an explanation of how it works, more enthusiasm of their products. I felt I had to pull to get answers. I felt the 2 young men could have been dressed a little better than looking like they were at home. What about a company t-shirt? And better client service with more of a welcoming spirt. The coffee was good though, and it should be celebrated with good service and happy atmosphere.

The owners should know how bad this experience was today. Antithesis of a coffee shop. Uninviting, unwelcoming, unfriendly. No energy or effort to be pleasant from either the guy or the girl working there. The vibe is that they don't want to be there or care that we are there. I asked for a double shot of espresso with as little water as possible and the girl was very confused and gave me a drip coffee filled to the brim of the 14oz cup. And then both employees were completely apathetic when I said that's not what I asked for. The guy said, oh, we don't make espresso here. And that was it. They didn't offer any solution, just sort of stared at the cup. Wow. Zero customer service awareness.

Nothing bad to say. If you love coffee you'll love it. If you only drink Dunkin' maybe steer clear😬 THE strongest cup of coffee I've ever had by far (they have varying caffeine levels). Everything is cold-brewed so its smooth. Just be careful if you get an iced coffee and down it😵‍💫.

Really yummy coffee! Staff was super friendly and the create your own menu was pretty cool. It was important to them that you enjoyed the drink and were very willing to make adjustments. I got a medium roast and it was very strong, just the way I like it, which is why depending on your preferences, different roasts are recommended.

Coffee was fantastic and perfectly sweet/rich. The coffee was actually strong, almost reminiscent of Vietnamese iced coffee. Their flavors are distinctly Hawaiian and took me back to the islands.

Great coffee, but apparently if you like strong coffee called Wild you need to be there before they open to beat the cops whom are probably already waiting at the door to buy it all for the week. It’s delicious and NOTHING like Starbucks. You can also customize it as well. Please don’t expect the rapid 3-4 barista service because majority of the time there’s only one. Do keep in mind that great/delicious things take time. So be nice 😊

first timers get a free flight of all the cold brews they have. it's amazing. you can tell just how each brew varies from the others. the store and its employees have a created an atmosphere that isn't at all pretentious for how carefully curated their craft coffee menu is. if I had lived closer, I would have easily become a regular. I'll have to make do only coming every week or so, but I know for sure the trip will be worth it.

I absolutely Love this place. I am a COFFEE person and I've been here twice and the fact that you can pre order your coffee and they keep record of it with your name so they don't mess up your order is Above and Beyond Excellent service. The coffee place is like a wine tasting place so you can really chose the type of coffee creamer sweetener and intensity of the bean. That's everything to me delicious excellent service and staff! And I appreciate that they have meetings! I happened to witness a meeting occurring- and very uplifting! Big Ups!!!!

First and foremost is the aloha spirit and feeling of o'hana (family). Second, but not by any means less than, is the cold brew coffees. The selection of cold brew is a virtual tour of the Hawaiian islands! From the light to the dark, the strongest cup of cold brew is equivalent to 12 shots of espresso! The choices of milk and sweeteners will make any lactose intolerant person jump for joy. The best sweetener by far is the Haupia, home made coconut sweetener! They even save your drink in the system so you can just say, I'll have what I had last time," cause I wouldn't know what I had! On a side note, I would love to see more fresh baked goods with the same islands flavor, maybe some malasadas, our macadamia nut cookies! The decor is a little dark, doesn't quite remind me of Hawaii, but it is chic. Over all a must try, I'll definitely be back!

Hidden gem in Bonita I can't tell you how many times I passed by and didn't know about their delicious coffee! I have been there couple times and ordered the same drink hot and cold.

Awesome coffee and service. Tastes just like the Kona coffee from Hawaii. The server was fantastic and let me try several sample blends to find which I ordered. She also let me try a coconut sweetener that went so well with my coffee. Overall think it's one of my favorite coffee spots.

**although it's called "espresso bar" it does not specialize in espresso drinks. Get the coffee instead. Hawaiian coffee of different flavor profiles. Their specialties are hot or cold coffee with their homemade sweetener, tastes like coconut candy!! So good. Perfect place for a nice sweet cup of coffee. Plus, they only have hawaiian beans. Get your Kona here! Make sure to try the homemade sweetener.

I usually go to place with more reviews but I'm glad I didn't this time bc this plaza in general is so awesome. The coffee however was beautiful, roasted perfect.

Nice little coffee shop with delicious coffee. Luis was an excellent barista. He was super friendly and accommodating. They offer a guide on the caffeine Content of the different coffees they brew which is super helpful for those that are looking for a good roast without the jitters. The interior needs a little love..the paint job was driving me crazy LOL..but overall, a 5 star experience.

I would like to respond to the lady who said the 2 young men could have dressed a little nicer, not like they’re at home. This lady also suggested they wear a company T-shirt and that she expected more of an explanation of the process: 1.) Ask for what you need, and 2.) my husband and I, as well as our whole family who live up the hill love the people that work here, their casual dress, and the casual vibe of this coffee shop. It perfectly suits the shop and feels entirely appropriate. And the best part: The coffee is absolutely exceptional! Some of the best I’ve had in the US.

Really good specialty coffee drinks with a Hawaiian flare. Tried the cold foam latte since I'm into simpler coffee drinks and it was delicious. Would give this spot a 5 star but the wait was a little long (30-40mins) since they had just a single Barista working. Would visit again when I'm in San Diego

Great little hidden gem here in Bonita. Love the authentic taste of the coffee! I had a lite version based on the recommendation and it’s fantastic. Definitely coming back here when I need my caffeine fix.

The coffee is really good. I wish the atmosphere was more a vibe but still the best coffee.

Really wonderful Hawaiian coffee. Made just the way you want. Got a mocha with medium roast and my friend got a dark roast coffee. They offer different flavorings along with oat milk and regular milk. Price is comparable to most coffee houses maybe even a bit lower. Definitely be back.

I ordered hot regular coffee to go and I got a half cup of coffee. Sure I pay full price. They don't have basic condiments for coffee (cream or sugar).

A great, local coffee shop in South Bay, San Diego. Love the Hawaiian style coffee choices that are available here. The service was great too and the cold coffee with Haupia sweetener was so delicious. I definitely will be coming back!

A great, Hawaiian style coffee shop located in beautiful Bonita. The coffees are rich and they have a great variety of flavors to try from. I recommend trying the iced coffee with half and half with Haupia flavoring.

My FAVORITE coffee South of the 94 ☕ ❤. Since I'm organized marketing minded I gave 4🌟 bc I see quite a few improvements needed to boost sales in that category, other than that the coffee and almost Haupia alone keeps me back for more. The customer service feels like I'm back on the Big Island, chill, relaxed and genuine which I appreciate. Requesting "My Usual" is a unique service they provide that's convenient if you can't remember your favorite/regular order. TRY: 50/50 Oahu West over iced premium coconut milk w/2xHaupia = 1.5cups of coffee
