I don’t know if it’s only this location or Panera in general, but every time I get something I feel like they try to skimp you. This was $5.59 and it’s not even filled to the top. Last time I got a salad, the same thing happened. Should’ve just went to Starbucks.

Ordered through Uber. Opened the bag and I see a bunch of space in the bowl. Thought there would be more food considering the price of $14.29. Save your money on the over priced food that isn’t even a lot.

Very good food and affordable. Great friendly staff. The table we sat on did not appear clean. That's why they don't get a 5th star.

My Mom had never been so I take her and there was no soup:( but the manager Michael and his crew were pleasant and hooked us up. My Mom enjoyed her 1st panera experience. Our food came out good, no issues and we enjoyed our lunch...I think the cashiers name was Cesar....he was pleasant and helpful even with all my mom's questions. This panera location knows how to treat a customer!!

I regret not Panera Bread! The Panera Bread were fire . Great service ! All smiles and so helpful . Took my mom and she loved it too ! Panera Bread was I see why they have a wait . Go early and beat the crowd. Worth it.

The good: there is nor a single thing on the menu that I have ordered and didn't like. The kiosk at the front of the store is way quicker to order food from than the regular line. The bad: the coffee bar could use a deep cleaning. The ugly: the dinning room needs a person to just stand and clean

Barely anything in this Buffalo chicken sandwich it’s horrible if I wanted a grilled cheese I would have gotten that

I ordered from this place, on their app, 4 times. First order, I went to pick it up in store and they didn’t have my order. They said they only had half my order and could not fill the other half. They said they would refund my money for the other half. They did not. Second time, I ordered to pick up in store again, and my order was incorrect. I had to wait for them to redo the order. At least they had the items to fill the order this time. Third time, I ordered to pick up in store, and they didn’t have my order at all. They had to pack it once we showed up. Then, when I got home, I realized they gave me the wrong size cream cheese. They gave me a tiny individual serving instead of the tub that I ordered and paid for. Who gets a tiny individual size cream cheese for 13 bagels?? Last, I ordered for a delivery to come to my home the day before Thanksgiving. They sent half my order. I had to go to the store to fix it. They tried to blame the DoorDash guy for it being wrong. They said he told them I wanted the bread bowls cut. I did not. However, regardless of the items being cut, it was still HALF the order. The DoorDasher didn’t fill the order. I used THEIR app. The same one I used the first three times. I ordered delivery because I’m sick and didn’t want to have to go to the store in person. Off I went though, 8:00am, to fix it. If I had waited for my husband to get off work to pick it up, they would have been out of the items needed. This location on Broadway, in Chula Vista, is just the worst. The only good things I can say are, when they have it, the food is good and the employees are not rude. They may be wrong, but they are courteous. That’s why I gave them two stars.

I didn't rate the service because I wasn't serviced. My wife bought the food for ua. Overall it's busy and the atmosphere is great. No complaints. I enjoy Panera.

The app to order food is never synch with thr items available for sale. They never have the souffle available so when you show up to pick up your order curbside. It's surprise! We do not have your items we can give you this. If you do not want what we have you need to get off your vehicle for a refund. Then based on their policy the company refunds you the money after 3 days. So make sure you spend your money well and dine in to avoid the frustration of not getting your money back and your items. Why would you be charged for something you didn't get.

It has been a couple of years since dining at Panera. OMG is it NOT worth the price. The older versions of their sandwiches were worth these current prices. Whatever they've done to the menu, PLEASE UNDO IT!🤢

Panerai Bread is super clean, friendly, and tasty. The four cheese souffle is amazingly good. Their strawberry banana Greek yogurt smoothie was delicious. Tip, souffle runs out early.

The place was kind of full with a lot of trash. I should to move somebody else's trash so i could have a seat. So food is really good I'll try another brunch

I am a loyal customer. Received a message that I had a free pastry for my birthday. Went and they wouldn’t honore my free special. I will only go to the store in downtown SD from now on. Very dissatisfied

Here is a review not written by someone paid to inflate ratings. I write reviews when I am either impressed with a business or really disappointed in one - this one is the later type: Interior was dirty, staff was rude, bad drinks. This Panera is always a mess - you wonder if anyone has ever vacuumed or cleaned the carpet. Touch screen terminals are also broken half the time. Staff incredibly rude - watched staff member sweeping dust into a seated patron's face from the filthy carpet - with a broom. Staff member was either too oblivious or too rude to see the problem. If a person doesn't automatically see this as a problem - you don't educate that behavior - you just need to let that person go. This behavior is the reason I'm writing this review. Just outrageous. Drinks are also inconsistent - often empty and no one refills. Also unhygienic - staff brings tea in buckets - no gloves or mask - don't really want to drink tea sneezed in by their staff but that is the situation.

Good food, usually. Unfortunately, this Panera Bread doesn't have most of the items they offer available. Around 60% of the food and drinks are usually sold out or not in stock (I've tried at 11am, 3pm, 5pm, Mon-Sun). I've never seen this happen before, anywhere in the East Coast and Central and South US. The staff is nice and polite all the time. If you order drinks online you have to request the cups from the staff, as at this location they do not have the cups available for you to grab and go. Not the best Panera, sadly.

Was super nice! The lighting is great, its quiet and homey, the dishes (as in plates and bowls) are simple an artistic, the food was really yummy, healthy, vegan friendly, pretty to look at and it came is Perfect portions. Plus, the drinks are fresh and it smells great inside. Its clean and well lit, the system of trash is very simple an eco friendly. Ive only eaten Panera 3x in my life (twice dine in, once delivery) and each experience was positive.

I like Panera so much, sandwiches are great, and soups, highly recommend trying the chicken chipotle that's one of the best. 🙊 The only thing with this location is the homeless 😬, they were seated outside but entered to grab limonade, but besides that everything is just fine, service is good. Prices are fair, but drinks are a bit expensive 🙃.

We didn't have a good meal here. My mom ordered the pick two deal, Smokehouse BBQ chicken sandwich with the Turkey Chili soup. I also got pick two with the Chicken Frontega Sandwich and the BBQ chicken salad. My mom didn't want anything with milk in it for health-reasons and when she got the sandwich, there was barely any chicken. She said there was just ¼ a cup of chicken for ½ of the BBQ chicken sandwich. Not worth the price; the amount of chicken she got should've been priced at 4-5 dollars instead. The guy we got the food from gave her chips instead and said that the turkey chili soup definitely has milk in it but in the kiosk, we wanted to exclude milk from the soup and it didn't stop us from ordering the turkey chili soup. What? My mom also got the the hazelnut coffee from the self-serving station and it wasn't hot plus it had a weird aftertaste. I tasted it too and agreed with her. For my ½ Frontega Chicken Sandwich, it didn't even have any basil. Not enough chicken, not enough cheese. For my salad, it was good. It tasted fine and I liked the sauce and crunchy little chips. My mother just came out from urgent care and she was in pain and I didn't care about the missing basil because of how hungry I was. My mother and I won't be coming back. I also got hot chocolate and it was too sweet. Don't get extra whipped cream and caramel drizzle like me.

The food is decent for the price. I ordered a chicken sandwich and was surprised that the bread was not that fresh (don’t they bake bread here)? The coffee is decent and their monthly service is also good value. The wifi is so slow, however; if you’re looking to get some work done here I would watch out for that.

Love Panera. Sandwiches, salads, soups, pastries, bread. Everything is good. Convenient you-pick-2 combinations. This visit coffee in dispensers was really cold, but asked for newly brewed hot coffee and were helped briefly. Really recommend.

I have been eating at this location since 2006/2007, to date, it's still as great as ever, I'm glad to see staff doesn't change, in the sense that they're still friendly and polite and patient (I have 3 indecisive kids now lol). Food is always great, I don't think I have come to a bad experience ordering or getting anything bad or to complain about.

It's June🎈💐🎀 .... time for our every 6 month tour visiting several of our favorite places that appreciate their costumers with a complementary treat for their bday. My daughter and I just recently went to Panera and the place, as it has always been, was nice, clean, and the attendant was superkind and professional. The bday treat was incredibly scrumptious 😋... I would give them more starts if it would be possible +⭐⭐⭐

Applies to the Chula Vista Center location. The staff here was young, so the service was extremely slow. Not caused by lack of experience; rather their propensity to socialize with their customers. Chatting with your customers is often an enjoyable and welcome occurance; but NOT when you have a line of customers waiting to order. Being sociable, and professionally-effecient is a fine line/difficult skill for anyone to learn.

I have ordered Panera from this location twice through door dash and added the baguette. Both times I called Panera right after placing the order to ask them to put butter in the bag since there is no where to type it in the order notes and for some reason it's not automatic included. Both times they assured me they would and didn't :( very disappointing especially since I'm at work and don't have access to butter. If your not going to do....don't promise it.

Never really had a problem here before but today my soup was cold, my sandwich was soggy. I was forced to order from a kiosk after standing at the counter for several minutes and several workers just walking past me. I mean I get it, but I also work in the service industry and having to basically do everything yourself defeats the purpose of enjoying a meal out. The dining room was disgusting. The table I sat at was filthy but the only one available and while COVID is still a thing, sitting at a dirty table makes me uncomfortable. I have always loved Panera for their healthier options and environment but based on this experience I'm not sure I'll return to one again.

Love the food, unfortunately it's the very first time I ordered delivery and the last. Aside from the fees and the tip, I where missing items... I missed items, loose money, and couldn't even go fix it since I ordered meanwhile at work. And the worst I still hungry. What I did got was good tho.

Yummy healthy breakfast. Service has always been pleasant. Free wifi, w/easy access to outlets 🔌for 💻 working/studying.
