The food is good, but this place has the worst customer service ever. All the employees do not know how to treat their customer well ; they're not welcoming , they're not nice , and they're just rude rude rude.

Service is HORRIBLE. Waited in total 40 minutes for my order. And this is supposed to be a fast food place. Also, this wasn't rush hour, this was a Sun night. When I got there, there was no line, I was first. Rather than welcome me or say anything, I literally had to wait 15m to even be acknowledged. Even then, it was only because the person behind me asked what the hold-up was. Rather than ask me how she could help she just started taking his order. She seemed like she didn't want to be there. No apology for the wait or ignoring me, nothing. Then had to wait another 25m for my actual food. Again, no apology for the long wait. The food was good, only saving grace, but not amazing or worth a 40m wait and interacting with lame employees. The older gentleman making the food seemed like a hard worker. They were definitely understaffed.

This place is awful. Terrible customer service, terrible serving sizes, you ask for chicken and meat bowl and all they give you is a bowl of rice. They need to know/learn that three pieces of chicken and a piece of meat isn’t enough. FIX THE SERVING SIZE ALREADY! Been going for a while hoping they’ll have fixed by now but noo. And don’t even order extra meat or chicken at all they’ll give you a teaspoon. And if you think I’m joking look at what those employees gave me.

Food is contaminated, staff don't know, or they don't get trained to understand the Bible of the culinary arts due to mixing work knives and cutting tables for the same meat. Rule number one you don't mix chicken with meat or cut the meat with the same knife; you cut the chicken or use the same cutting table. That is a no, no chicken and beef mixing is wrongful doing. You don't offer customers mixing of beef and chicken togethe😡👎 I will not go eat there even again, the meat that I ordered tasted like chicken my son is allergicto chicken and it cause him an allergic reaction, they want to show everything they do and that they aren't clean.

The chicken and steak bowl was excellent! Plenty of meat cooked to perfection! The Dumplings are delicious too.

Usually the service is good and the food, lately I’ve gotten wrong orders, pink in my chicken and bad service, I’d use caution when choosing this location.

Received excellent service from the cashier Colten. He was timely, efficient, and kind. Excellent food will be sure to come back.

My friends and I couldn´t decide where to eat, so we ended up at WaBa Grill, and i must say that we made a great choice! Benny and Evelyn, thank you for such great service. The place was clean and the food was delicious. Hope to visit again very soon.

Based on the most relevant reviews of this place I wasn’t expecting much when I ate here, but I guess they must’ve made some improvements because everything was awesome! This lovely young man named Colten helped me out through the whole way and was very polite and understanding with my speech impediment. He rocks! I will definitely come back again!

It was great. Never beeb before today and the cashier I think his name is colten, he made my first time really easy recommending me his favorites. And it was very good food.

When I came to order my food I was slightly confused about the menu but I had an excellent experience with an employee named Colten who helped me with the ordering process and made me feel really welcomed. Food was great and the service was even better!

Theres a ton of reviews up here for Colten and its for a good reason, I come in here and the second time he already remembers my name, talk about attention to service!

This place was absolutely great. In particular, one employees with the name Colten, helped my wonderful experience. He was so patient and kind while serving me and was overall just a wonderful employee. He made my day so much better.

The 3 staff didn't have any idea where the gift cards were kept, once found, they had to call someone on the phone on how to process it. I am so disappointed with the level of help here. More basic side of chicken order was even mixed up I ordered and I ordered 10 dumplings and when I got home there where only 5 yet charged for 10. Very disappointed and would like a manager to reach out to me. I'm so afraid the gift card will be I correctly processed. It's for a birthday gift and I will be mortified if my $50 gift card is rejected by the birthday recipient. Stay tuned to see if the card can be used. No faith in the staff at all.

I always love their customer service. They know I'm vegan and provide help on which items have dairy or fish ingredients. The kitchen is also pretty fast.

Customer service was great! Though the food was not what I was expecting it to be… I believe the regular chicken was mixed with the spicy chicken (was not cooked) and the white rice wasn’t cooked either. I love WaBa grill, but it’s just not the same food as it used to be… not giving up on you though, maybe next time it will be better.

I got chicken & beef (rib eye) combo with rice & veggies. The chicken & beef were delicious & tender? I will definitely come here(Chula Vista) again.

The tables were soaked in wood polish, absolutely SOAKED, they stained my sleeves, my friend finished her food before mine ever finished and when it did it was the wrong food. I still took it because I was starving and didn’t want to kick up a fuss but maybe skip this location until they get some things in order

Just had a really great experience at this waba grill. I was helped by Daniel. Great customerservice Great attitude , personally etc. I'm in El cajon but I go to the gym in chula Vista so any time I need a post workout meal best believe I'll hit this spot up , because of the service I received from Daniel. Get this man a raise!

Good food, I order the family deal with steak and chicken. It was made fast and the quality is good.

The food looks great and it's probably worth trying however the customer service definitely need some improvement. I came in and was interested in low carb menu options that they had. When I left the cashier know that I was looking for something a little car, her response was, "do you need a minute to decide?" I would have liked to be offered some suggestions on low carb menu options. Instead, I overpaid for what I ordered and I didn't feel like I was helped very much.
