Excellent and friendly service from receptionist, my nurse Travesia RN and Dr Samadi. Was in a room in a matters of minutes, my nurse did her intake and the Dr did a full assessment. Both took their time with me to assure I was well taken care of. Most importantly, my issue was diagnosed and now recovering. "STRONG WORK Chula Vista UC" Thank you!

Curt, the front desk associate of urgent care, was attentive, friendly and kind. The doctor who assisted me with my eye emergency was so kind and caring. After examining my eye, he did an additional test to make sure retina was not scratched. I appreciate his gentle demeanor and explanation of my eye redness. Both men were excellent!

I went to this Urgent Care on Monday around 12pm because I had/have extremely bad shoulder pain and being able to feel my joints/bone feel clearly abnormal under my armpit/around my shoulders. The wait time was typical, about 30 minutes which I completely understand and I would actually say that the wait room process itself was the best part of the experience. I go in to explain my symptoms and how it’s impeding on my required daily activities of writing/driving/doing dishes when I couldn’t understand why. Long story short, I explain my pain and an x-ray is done and when the doctor comes back the results, what essentially happened was she told me my X-ray came back perfectly fine and no sign of dislocation and basically told me that was it and stood in my little room waiting for me to stand up and basically waiting until I got up and left the room. No follow up questions, no suggestions for pain management, no reference to my shoulder pain once the x-ray arrived…at the time I walked out because I trust doctor’s and also have some recent bad experiences at Sharp Hospitals that has made me very scared to speak up about my pain. It made me feel as though I came off as someone who was faking for attention or drugs or something and it actually makes me very angry looking back. I without a doubt, deserved more answers to my shoulder pain beyond ‘your x-ray is perfect, you can go now’, and it makes it hard to ever even think about recommending this place to anyone ever.

They are always able to treat me quickly and effectively. They have always been able to address my concerns and put me at ease as well as providing me with the care or products I need. Every time I come the wait is usually under 20 minutes and the doctor doesn't make you wait long. This last time my test results were taking longer than normal to come back and they kept checking on me to let me know they didn't forget about me and see of I needed anything which was really sweet. Sharp urgent care is always my go to in an emergency.

•I was seen within fifteen minutes of signing in. • The staff were kind and courteous. • Dr. Dy, the attending physician was great as were the RN who took my blood samples, and the first RN who took my vitals. •▪︎ However, I forgot to pick up my patient discharge sheet on the way out of the facility. I'd like to get it today on my way home from work. If someone contacts me regarding this issue, I'll be mist appreciative. Thank you.

The check in experience was easy. I got there right at opening and only waited 15/20 minutes to be seen. Both the nurses and the doctor were very professional and explained everything in great detail. I love the care they have for patients at the SRS Urgent Cares and would not go to any urgent care if I can help it.

If you EVER find yourself in a situation where you need immediate medical assistance, Sharp Chula Vista Urgent care is the place you want to be. EVERYONE, from the person who checked me in, all the way to the Physician - were all absolutely amazing health care workers. I was treated with care and compassion. They were efficient but very detailed and kept me informed of my medical status the entire time. Thank you Sharp Chula Vista Urgent Care for all you do!

I got priority care today as I had a dog bite... the staff & Dr Gonzales acted quickly & made me feel @ ease! I was in and out within the hour!

I visited urgent care 10/28/22 and was seen by Dr. Gonzalez and RN J. Rafael. My experience was great. Dr. Gonzalez was professional, positive, and have a great personality. He has a great technique for the patient to forget about their current pain momentarily. He was informative, patient, and thorough. He asked multiple times if I had any questions which I thought was great. RN J. Rafael was also professional as well as empathetic, and thorough. She was informative and took time in explaining in great detail everything I needed. Great experience for a busy evening at this location. The check-in department was very professional and efficient. An ice pack was offered and pain management as well. She made it clear if I needed anything else or had any questions to let her know. She also made me aware of the wait time at time of check-in which was considerate.

The wait time for an urgent care center was very reasonable, it was about 15min after checkin before I was seen. The clinician that handled my triage and the clinician that assessed my situation were both kind and attentive. I’d definitely return to the Chula Vista location for care I’m the future.

Receptionist and nurse were vey nice and professional. I saw Dr. Marco Gonzalez and he was excellent! He’s very professional, caring and is very knowledgeable with his many years of experience. He was my primary doctor for 10 years and now he’s at urgent care. Wish he was still my primary doctor.

I went in for a sprained ankle. I was in and out in about an hour. My vitals were taken, the doctor came and before I knew it, I was being wheeled off for X-Rays. Everyone was so friendly and attentive. I have visited this location other times for either my child or myself and our experiences have always been great here.

The staff was excellent and I've never been treated better by health care providers. At one time I was going to Scripps emergency room and the treatment I received from those people were almost criminal in my opinion. I did eventually got to see some of the regular doctors and they were a better quality of human than the people who worked in the emergency room. Wasn't very happy with Paradise Valley Hospital emergency room personnel either and really appreciate the Sharp experience. I'm a believer! For better service get to your local Sharp Health Care Services.

Don't come here if you're military. Even after explaining to them that tricare prime authorizes out of network urgent care visits without prior authorization they told me i would still be charged. They acted like I didn't know what I was talking about and said that's for their emergency rooms. I wouldn't have wasted my time driving further to go to urgent care if didn't know I would be covered. I didn't want go to an emergency room for a non-emergency room issue.

I called to set up an appointment for possible UTI. Customer Service referred me to the RN triage for this condition. Set up an appointment with a telemedicine physician during who had me go to the local Urgent Care to rule out kidney infection. Urgent Care personnel were very professional, caring, genuine, and concise with their instructions. The physician asked to make sure I understood her directions. She was very thorough. Please let them know how much I appreciate their professionalism. The telemedicine physician, Dr. Sugar, left a follow-up phone message after my urgent care visit. Great service. Thank you.

The team was great! From check in, she was very professional and caring. My nurse was amazing! She was personable, caring and gentle. Doctor Ammar was fast and thorough! I was very happy with my experience at Sharp Reese Stealy Urgent Care.

Been a patient with sharp for many years; there have been good and not so good experiences; today was one of the best. The doctor at Urgent Care Chula Vista was outstanding! She took the time to talk to me with professionalism and care. I’m sorry I forgot her name ; just remember she is from Venezuela.

Total wait time was 1 hr. Staff was super nice, courteous and respectful. Nurse was so very understanding and sweet and Dr. was beyond amazing! I felt heard and taken care of.

I was in and out in a reasonable time, considering it is an urgent care. The doctor had excellent suggestions for me to do at home. In addition she gave me the medication I needed to resolve my issue. There is extra parking on the upper floor, but the entrence to this extra parking is through H street. On a different occasion, my daughter went recently, signed in, went out to a coffee shop near by, and then returned 50 min later to avoid having to sit in the waiting room. Her waiting room experience was shorter.

I had a very good experience overall. Here’s why: -Showed up on a busy morning but had the option to wait in my car and receive a text to come back in. -The wait time was displayed on a tv in the waiting room which ended up being pretty accurate. -All staff was a good mix of professional and friendly.

Wait wasn’t bad despite triaging of more urgent patients. Staff is friendly, informative and comforting. I’ll go back to this location when needed 👍🏼

I have been to this location a few times over the years and it has been a good experience for the most part. Less than a hour wait. Staff was nice. Last time I went I had a problem with my ear. The doctor was so kind, thoughtful and professional! I wish I could remember his name. I think this is a good place to go. I know the wait time changes but it's been good for me. The place could use a paint job and nicer decor.

My 6 year old broke her arm and was treated here. Initially we were told there would be a 1 1/2 hour wait. We were going to leave to go to the ER instead so the team did expedite her exam, thankfully since she was in a lot of pain.

It’s been a while since I’ve been at this location. Because of what was going on with me, they took me right in. The nurse I had was so sweet and understanding. Her name is Tryvicia not sure the spelling. She was exactly who I needed to talk to. The drs and staff were also super friendly. I’ve be er had this experience before.

I’ve been here since about 9:30 due to shortness of breath and being sick over a week..it’s now noon and no one has seen me yet. They know I’m having issues breathing and have no urgency. I’m also being seen in a tent OUTSIDE. I paid $75 for nothing. Save yourself time and go elsewhere. The worst experience by far was their intake person, Mirna. She was incredibly rude and even argued with me while I was on the phone with my mom and trying to get a refund due to their non urgency.

Thuan the nurse assistant who checked my vitals is very kind and re-assuring. He makes my down situation, cheerful and light. I appreciate him and the rest of the team for the fast service. Thank you!

They should remove the word urgent grom their sign more than 2 hour wait and waiting room almost empty. Stand crrected 3 hours to be seen procedure 10 minutes

The Care was excellent. The wait was horrible! SRS Please consider moving the urgent care to a much larger site. Add drs and close at 10 like you used to. The demand is there.

Came to Sharp UC in Chula Vista on 3rd Ave on 7/7/22 got here at 8:28am the wait was 20/30 min it was 10:40am and they said I was next to be called (this was at 9:30) 3 people passed so I went up to the receptionist name Jerry and she was VERY rude. She said well I am going with what the list says. She said it very loud and people around heard. It was embarrassing! Then I was called and Marcus was the sweetest and very nice! Marcus was the best! He made me feel that they really care for sick patients.

Not a review of this urgent care center, but of Sharp in general. My gf has Sharp insurance, so we went here, seemed logical... the fail-safe way of being sure to be covered. Not the case. Their OWN urgent care isn't in their network! Insane, I know. Just be sure to check first. They sent us to Marque, which was closer to us anyway... but of course, in the exact opposite direction we came from.

I had an excellent experience at the SRS-CV urgent care. Everyone from the registration team, nurses, and Doctor were extremely compassionate and helpful. I was seen almost immediately upon arrival. A big thank you to my Nurse, David (with the light blue eyes) he was gentle, understanding of my pain level, and had great bedside manner. He was funny too. Thanks to the whole team for getting me feeling better as quickly as possible.

I came here to get something done for a job. It is very well organized and clean. The staff is super helpful and knowledgeable. I haven’t been here for any other reason but the staff is very welcoming and helpful, everything is up to Covid-19 standards and constantly being wiped down and sterilized.

Horrible customer service! I made an appointment and asked if they took my insurance at the time of making the appointment. However when I arrived, I was told they canceled my appointment since they don't accept my insurance. NO ONE EVEN CALLED ME! And, they gave me the address of another urgent that they said took my insurance but when I arrived there I WAS TURNED AWAY AGAIN! How is this ok?! I had a serious health issue and had to go to 3 different places due to SHARP'S mistake!

Second time I come to this location and they can’t help with a COVID test my doctor ordered. First time they were out and second time they closed due to capacity. Called the Santee location and even though they are in the same situation they’re still conducting swab tests.
