We really appreciated the new patient special. Staff was very nice and helpful, especially the person I spoke to on the phone. However we were not impressed with the doctor. My dog is a trained service animal and had a small injury. They did very little to answer my questions about home care and options. The doctor did very little to actually look at the injury to provide us with enough information to feel confident in any further procedures and instead we felt like he was just pushing for more money and surgical procedures. We felt rushed. So rushed that when my dog was exhibiting some timid behaviors (he just hid, no whines, barks, or growls) the doctor felt it was appropriate to muzzle him. My dog is NOT aggressive in the slightest, especially with humans. He's a trained service dog and doesn't bite. Our trainer suggested not seeing this vet again because he didn't understand dog behaviors and we all prefer the LEAST amount of invasive behavioral correction. The muzzle wasn't necessary and we're concerned about having to re-train him now in vet settings because of this as he now thinks those two things go together. We are grateful they at least gave us an antibiotic for him, but we will likely not be back and will look elsewhere for a second opinion and a vet we can use long term as we prioritize his health and visit the vet regularly. We were hoping to find a great and helpful office to stay with since we just moved into town, but we're probably not going to return here.

We always have a great experience when we go here. We brought our first puppy, Piper here through her life (8 weeks - 12 1/4 years). Now we have a new puppy, and there was no doubt we would go to Pacific Pet Hospital. Dr. Humphrey is always so caring and understanding of our concerns and takes the time with you. The entire staff has been caring and attentive. We love Nurse Terry! Our Piper loved her as well.

We took our pocket pet to Pacific Pet Hospital a few weeks ago. They were the only vet in the south bay willing to see her. We ended up being faced with a sad reality that our pet was not going to make it and had to put our baby to sleep. It was a painful moment for our family but Dr Humphrey and the staff were so gentle, warm, patient, and understanding with us. A few weeks after our visit the staff sent our family a card with hand written messages expressing their condolences for our loss. The staff cares about their clients and patients. We appreciated that card so much and would not hesitate to take our pets back to see Dr Humphrey and his staff

I was immediately impressed with the personnel, on the phone, and, coming out to our van to take our large Rottweiler into the hospital for exam, xrays, and extensive lab tests. Speaking to the vet about the results of the exam, was very informative and useful. The next day, the chief vet called to give us the results of the lab tests. I give Pacific Pet Hospital my top rating

I love it here! Dr. Humphreys is awesome. So kind and gentle with my furbabies. I wanted to change vets to find a nicer doctor. I found him! I felt comfortable coming here for the first time. Staff was friendly. Atmosphere has the tropical island feel. Prices are actually real good compare to others. I am happy they took care of my furbabies with their annual exam and full shots.

This was the first vet I went to after moving to California. By far the customer service and care for my dog was the best. Staff was very friendly and informative. They treated my pups like royalty and made the entire experience easy.

I take my 2 Huskies, Athena and Atlas and my Frenchie Roxy Petunia to Dr. Humphrey since I got them 2 years ago and I won’t change vet care because I love the care and services at Pacific Pet Hospital. Nice and friendly pet nurses and staff. Clean and welcoming office for you and your pet. I totally recommend it to family and friends and anyone reading this review.

I suspected my buddy had an ear infection so I called around for an appointment. After three calls the earliest I got was a month and a half out. Then I called Pacific and they told me we could come in the next afternoon! Genuinely kind staff knew how to calm the old girl enough for a quick evaluation. She did not have an infection but a foxtail from dead grass had lodged in her ear. She was put under and the offender was removed. We were on our way home in 45 minutes, a little loopy but irritant free. The cost was very reasonable. Very satisfied.

Every time I go in they welcome me and my pup with open arms. They give my girl the upmost loving and cuddles to make her feel comfortable during her vet visits. The staff is so amazing, they even took me in on a last minute emergency check up because I found a weird spot on her head. Walked in at 0805 and my girl was seen by 0810. 30 minutes later, she was cleaned up and a okay again ❤️ 10/10 would recommend.

While I didn’t end up using their services due to some scheduling conflicts, I really commend their customer service. I had paid a deposit for an end-of-life appointment for my family dog and when I notified them that I had needed to schedule an appointment elsewhere, they were so kind on the phone and immediately issued me a refund for the deposit- I didn’t even need to ask.

I began taking my two cats to Pacific Pet Hospital around August 2023. The staff have always been very nice and extremely helpful. My senior cat has developed some health issues and has required a lot of consult and assistance, and both the vet and the staff have always been there to answer all my questions whether at an appointment or over the phone. The appointments have always been timely and the waiting area never crowded with lots of patients. That's good for anxious pets. I also like that they are open Saturdays. Overall I am very happy with Pacific Pet Hospital and will continue taking my pets here.

Everyone was friendly. I felt no pressure to do more than I needed for my dog. I came in just for a heartworm test and preventative and walked out with just that. The prices are comparable to other vets. The wait was a little long, but I don't think I've ever been to a vet that didn't have one. They warned me when I came in and everyone was very friendly and attentive.

Great service! Front desk, nurses and Doctor all very friendly and helpful. Rusty our cat was handled firm yet gently. Diagnosed and everything was very clearly explained. Options were given, not pushed. Parking was great, early appointment. Will go back!

My experience with Pacific Pet is nothing short of priceless! The staff treated both my puppy and I with kindness and attentiveness. I love how easy Pacific Pet makes it to take your dog or in my case an 8 week old puppy (Belgian Malinois ) to the vet! 100 stars rating.

I was looking for a new vet. My vet had become very expensive and there were so many new doctors that I did not feel heard or seen. I came across Pacific Pets and I now recommend them to anyone that has a pet and feels like I do. They make me feel heard. I had a question regarding some work that was done on my dog Maddie Max and they responded immediately and just had me take a picture and they gave me their opinion. My previous vet would have asked me to bring her in and they would of charged me for an emergency visit. At least $75.00 and it would have been unnecessary. I hope these people stay in business forever. They are as economical as the times will allow them to be and I appreciate their attentiveness to my pet. If you are unhappy with your vet care, as I was, these are the people to call.

This place is great both staff members and Dr. And genuinely so caring! I love how gentle the Dr. Was with my dog and how he kept making sure he was comfortable. Another great thing is pricing I believe pricing is extremely reasonable but also love how they don't force prices on you they try to accommodate you and recommend things you actually should pay for and if choose to opt out of anything they don't make you feel horrible about it. This will be my permanent vet hospital!

The moment we stepped through their doors, we were greeted with warm smiles and a friendly atmosphere, which instantly put both me and my pet at ease. The reception staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating, answering all my questions and efficiently handling the necessary paperwork. The waiting area was spacious, clean, and filled with treats to keep our pets entertained while we waited. When it was time for our appointment, Dr. Humphrey, the veterinarian, showed exceptional knowledge and skill while attending to my pet. They took the time to listen to my concerns, thoroughly examined my pet, and provided a comprehensive treatment plan. I was especially impressed by how gentle and patient they were, making sure my furbaby was comfortable throughout the entire process. Moreover, the veterinary technicians and assistants were just as professional and caring. They demonstrated genuine concern for my pet's well-being, and their expertise was evident in the way they handled the various tests and procedures. What truly sets Pacific Pet Hospital apart, however, is the evident passion and dedication of its staff. It is clear that they genuinely love what they do, and their commitment to providing the best possible care for our pets is unparalleled. I cannot recommend Pacific Pet Hospital highly enough. If you're looking for a veterinary clinic that combines exceptional medical care with a compassionate approach, look no further. Trust me, both you and your furbaby will be in the best of hands.

Been bringing my 2 furbabies in to doctor Humphrey- Pacific Pet Hospital for about 1 year now. I always ask tons of questions because I want to understand what services are available with dr. When I address any concerns, they quickly answer all my questions. I can honestly say that doctor Humphrey and his staff are amazing with my 2 furbabies. I would recommend Dr. Humphrey to everyone, family and friends.
