This park has one of the best views in Chula Vista. You can see the Coronado Bridge from its heights. It is family friendly and tucked away from the busier more easily accessible parks. The only drawback is parking. Their isn't much. The pickleball world descends on Tuesday and Thursday nights and you ha e to park on the street. This has been a favorite since 2000.

Great park. Play Pickleball there everyday. If the parking lot is full, park in the shopping center behind the park. There is an entrance on both sides.

The playgrounds were clean, the lawns throughout the park were green and mowed and the park overall appeared to be vibrant and safe.

Went to play pickle ball here and it has very nice courts and lights for night time. There is a good system in place to play and everyone was very nice.

Came to Mackenzie Park to play Pickleball. I am from Naples Florida and out here for few days. Everyone was welcoming and explained the process of leaving paddle for next game. Thanks to Everyone who made a stranger become friends!!

Great pickleball place. It seems like pickleball never ends here. The courts are new and modern. There are bathrooms right there. If the parking is full you can park in the mall behind and walk up. There is a gate in the back. There are shade tree covered tables. The courts are organized by level. Just watch to see where you fit in and lay your paddle against the net post. People are very friendly and nice. No one is a stranger. You can find just about any level of play anytime.

Nice and secluded park with bathrooms, sand playgrounds, pickle ball court, basketball courts and multiple smaller open fields. It also has a few grills, gazebos and tables. Clean for the most part. The bathroom was a bit smelly the last time I went.

Their 12 pickleball courts are very busy and good for older people to exercise.

Because my Job as Facepainter I was on variety of parks and this one is nice and looks like new on this area...looks very clean with a lot parking...but not to much shade.

I never knew this park existed. We used it for a wedding rehearsal for an outside wedding. It was perfect and not crowded at all. It also had restrooms and playgrounds

Pickleball open play great players, excellent courts. Free. Tues / Thurs evenings are full of very skilled players, would say 3.5 or 4.0+ mostly.
