This is one of our favorite parks in the Otay Ranch area. We love the beautiful Jacaranda trees & it is very spacious for our pups to get their exercise running chasing tennis balls.

What should be a nice park located in the heart of a family friendly neighborhood is actually a magnet for misbehaving teens in the area. Every single time I take my son here to play, we inevitably leave early to get away from the loud swearing, inappropriate teasing and fighting that always happens. It sucks.

Jacaranda Park is located in Chula Vista the the Otay Ranch community, just minutes from Meadow Park. This park has a small playground, grass area, a half court basketball hoop, plenty of benches with shade, beautiful Jacaranda tress throughout and a small community Give and Take library box. The playground features a huge slide and double slides along with a climbing net and climbing equipment. It’s a fun little park to enjoy a quick park trip and let the kids run freely. Street parking is available, there are no swings & no shade above the playground. No bathrooms but Meadow Park is at a short distance and does have bathrooms.

Clean and good for dogs and kids!
