This is a beautiful park next to Pier32 Marina in national city. Lots to look at (cargo ships, seized oligarch's ship, boat launch, wildlife, osprey nesting, many birds). There are cement tables for parties and a fishing pier. I took a star away because kids like to drive fast, and there is a cat epidemic. Lots of electric car plugs. Amazing aquatic center!!!

This really is a nice little park in an area you wouldn't expect down by the docks and train tracks. There is a nice looking boat ramp that goes into the Sweetwater Channel giving you access to San Diego Bay. There is also a small fishing pier that overlooks a spot on the channel where you can watch the workers loading and unloading cargo ships. As for the park itself it is relatively small but features a well kept lawn with a jungle gym for the kids, some public art, a few vending machines, and public restrooms. FYI, entrance is also free.

Great little park to bring the family and dog. Has a nice playground for the kids and shade trees to relax under. If your into fishing there is the pier and some shoreline rocks to fish off of.

nice place to visit. Need to be cleaned up a little bit. It would be nice if they added a few Retail shops In the general area of the park, maybe even open up a fast food shop in the empty parking lot right outside the park to get more visitors to the park. It could definitely be a really nice place

Great little Park hidden away in an industrial area. Very laid back and quiet. Nice little playground, restrooms and a little fishing pier as well.

It's a small quiet place, with a children play area, restrooms, boat launch area. A very small pier to fish off of. Wheel chair access, also free parking. 7:13_23 fishing is picking up 👍✌🏽

I love it here. When it is not busy with huge family parties or the people who live in their RVs in the parking lot, it is a quaint place to relax or walk the dogs. Watching the boats come in and out as well as the fishing off the tiny pier is also calming. Easy parking and many eating places on the other side of the freeway to being for a picnic, or the Waterfront has incredible food. Have a nice visit!

Great park to take the kids, or even adults to have a good time. You can have functions here easily and do other things like fishing, running and any form of exercise. This park has a lot of views that would be great for a photo shoot. There's a place to lower boats into the water beside it too, it's a fun park.

Decent view of marina jetty toward harbor. View partially blocked by working pier. Harbor cats on the prowl for seaside rats. Oh, and spotted a skunk too!

I want to share to see a friend of mine ship out on a freighter. There was a peregrine falcon hanging out on a wire overlooking the ship. It was cool

A truly beautiful little park next to the water with plenty of benches and picnic tables. An awesome playground and decent bathrooms. Some beautiful trees and a pier for some fishing too! I wish it were a little bigger but for what it is, I loved it!

I Love This Park To Chill & Hang Out By My Self Or With The Homies. I Definitely Would Have A Party Here. I Totally Recommend This Park & Boat Launch If You Have A Boat Or Jet Ski.

Nice clean park. Great for walking your dog or having the kids play at the playground. There is a ramp for people to put their boats in the water.

Place is nice. We had an impromptu picnic there. It's peaceful. Place got some tables for take out food. Nice shade in some areas. You may be able to take a nap there if you've time. There's also a public restroom there. There's a boat launch there too.

  • 5/5 Barry B. 1 year ago on Google
My kids always love this place. There is also a small fishing pier with a great view of the roro unloading.

  • 5/5 Diane B. 1 year ago on Google
We’ll-maintained and beautifully-situated at National City’s off the beaten path marina, the family stayed cool with a strong onshore breeze under the shade of a giant fig tree while the young ones played in the nearby play structure. For a warm Sunday afternoon there was plenty of empty space at tables and parking lot.

  • 2/5 Brian A. 1 year ago on Google
Good boat launch area. The park is really nice too. Bathroom had no toilet paper available. The reason for the low stsr score is due to the homeless and less than safe feeling leaving my car there for hours.

  • 5/5 Donna C. 1 year ago on Google
Nice park with grass and tree shaded picnic tables and benches. Kids will love it here as there's a play area with swings and jungle gym equipment. The restrooms are located near the parking lot and there's even some vending machines in case you want a soda. At the far end of the park is a fishing pier. But what really caught our attention was the huge yacht docked nearby. Turns out this is the $325 million Russian Amadea seized by the United States back in June. Don't know how long the Amadea will be docked here...so if you're wanting a glimpse of her...don't wait.

Good spot for family picnic has stone benches. Has a small pier for fishing also has a boat ramp and restrooms with lots of parking. the playground was sealed off with caution tape and the vending machines where expensive and one was busted and didn't wanna read my debit card.

Good starting point to bike or e-skate along the east bay down south to Imperial Beach along the bikeway. Restroom is OK. Nice grass area and picnic tables. Use Google Maps if using the bikeway because it seems to end and you have to find on Maps where it continues on. The bikeway along the east bay while confusing is much more interesting and diverse compared to the Coronado side which is just long and boring.

Great park! Lovely view! But uh the fact that there's no bathroom doors is a bit alarming. How is that not a safety issue??? Imagine letting your children use a public bathroom with no doors where anybody can walk in and watch them?
