I am here at Bamboo Garden Thai Cuisine, enjoying lunch. Today I ordered A Tomkha Soup, it has coconut milk base soup with mushrooms, galangal, cilantro, & lime juice. Choice of seafood combination. It is very deliciously tasty. I also ordered Pad Thai, it consists of stir-fried egg noodles in tamarind sauce with egg, green onions and bean sprouts, crushed peanuts. It is my first time tasting this meal courses & I am happily satisfied. Thank you Nick for taking my meal order you are very generous and humble. Thank you to all the staff in the kitchen as well for preparing the meals. Thank you so much & God Bless!

I was craving for Thai food, and so we went on Mother’s Day. We were one of the three groups that came right when they open, We were showed to a table of five, and was given the menu right away. It did not take long for us to place our order. And so we waited. After, I believe about 25 or 30 minutes our appetizers was served, so in a blink of an eye appetizer’s gone because we were all starving. And so we waited for the main course. 45 minutes passed, no food was being served in our table, but they were serving food to people that came later than us. In fact one group already finished eating and left. My husband was already irritated and wanted to say something, but my son was calming him. After an hour and fifteen, my son stood up and told them we were leaving. The order taker, I believe he’s the son of the owner, went to the kitchen then came back, and said it’s ok for us to leave, and did not even ask for an apology. I supposed they haven’t even started to make our order. So we paid for the appetizers that we ordered and left. What an awful experience we had at the Bamboo Garden Thai Cuisine. We were not able to eat, so I cannot answer the questions below.

January, 2023. Finally found an affordable and delicious Thai food restaurant! This place is awesome. Parking is no problem, the staff are nice, the place is clean, and the food is awesome! I would say the prices for all the food are lower than average. The portions are huge too! I will be visiting this place again. Paid $29 for spicy noodles, chicken pad Thai noodles, and drinks. Very happy with my experience here. Update: April 8, 2023. I am convinced that this is the BEST Thai food restaurant in the area. The Jungles Curry blew my mind away. It was delicious! I've never had anything better. The bamboo shoots added a small crunch and the egg plant melted in my mouth like butter. The jasmine rice was perfectly cooked too. The mango with rice dessert and the golden fried banana with ice-cream dessert are a must! The customer service is impeccable too. Nothing but super kind, attentive, and hard working staff. I like the overall ambiance of the restaurant as well. Of course, it is always very clean. 100% recommend coming here, you won't regret it!

I know their food is so delicious but I had a very awful situation and This happen last night to me. They are so neglect. My husband order red curry duck. One spicy 🌶 and the other one “NO” spicy, (0) When I ate one bite I noticed is spicy then I feel reaction as my throat kind of close, shortness of breathing, immediately I drink one glass of milk and go outside for a walk… if you are allergic something don’t believe however they put in the Tupperware. If you have somebody test for you that is good.

We’ve had the curry, wings, chicken dishes and fried rice, pork ribs and the star in my opinion is the fried dumplings! Very good authentic food and friendly quick service. Definitely a good place to eat!

Very pleasant place, close to the medical center, nice atmosphere, OK service. The food was passable 3/5. The spring rolls were kind of bland and very loosely packed, the Pad Thai noodles appeared to be overcooked angle hair pasta swimming in a sickly sweet red sauce. The rest of the meal was otherwise OK. I likely would not go back to this resteraunt.

Of all the Thai restaurants I've been to, this place's mango sticky rice is my favorite. I always leave space for it. The food is also delicious. The wait staff is very attentive and friendly. It's a nice lunch date place.

The food was very authentic and the atmosphere was very friendly. This was the best thai food place in town. The pad thai had a perfect combination of ingredients and flavor. For people who are allergic to peanuts, ask them specifically to leave them out. The tomsum soup had a rich combination of lime and coconut flavor. The papaya salad was delicious, only time i had better was at a thai temple in LA or the cambodian temple in San Diego. The spicy catfish was original. Deep fried breaded catfish in a curry paste sauce. Although rich in flavor, it was a little salty. The staffs were friendly and there seemed to be many regular customers. The setup was unique and clean. Like i said, to me, this was the best thai restaurant in the local area. Only reason i had to remove a star was because of the temperature inside. When i went on a hot day, there was no AC turned on. Recently, i went on a cold night, the doors were opened and it was very cold. The restaurant didnt realize it was cold until someone asked to close the door. I highly recommend this place and would raise it to a five star if the temperature is comfortable the next time i visit.

Food is so good. We loved every dish. The duck was super tasty and the sauce savory. The pork larb was spicy but kept me coming back for another bite. I would rate this as my favorite Thai place south of the 8

Everything was Flavorful, tried the Tom Yum Soup, musan curry, crab fried rice, mango and shrimp curry! Came with jasmine steamed white rice. Service was quick, food came out within 15 mins. Restaurant was clean with decorative trimmings with Thailand influence

Perhaps we tempered our ordering too much but the dining experience was a bit run of the mill. Based on the reviews of others, expected something a bit more notable. Pleasant room and staff and we'll likely gove it another chance.

I went here with a friend to try Thai food for the first time. It was a little over $20 for an order of duck Pad Thai after tax and tip. For $20, I would have expected the serving to be more substantial. The food itself was alright except for the duck, because a lot of the pieces had excess cartilage. On the upside, the restaurant was super clean and the staff was nice.

Nice, clean, small restaurant in Chula Vista's Otay Ranch area. The woman behind the counter/waiting tables was friendly and helpful. I had the spicy noodles and larb salad and both were good. However... I asked for an 8 out of 10 on the spicy scale and I felt it was more like a 4. I guess it's better to err that way than to have it too hot. Maybe next time I'll ask for a 10.

I like the place, the food is great and the ambience is nice, the only thing is that sometimes there's a few flies flying around and it just becomes a nuisance. If they had ceiling fans or fans in general, that would definitely get rid of the flies.

The food was good and above average. The service was fast and friendly. Many vegan choices- be sure to tell the server your limitations. My woon sen noodles were good however a bit more oil than I prefer.

Had the yellow curry with chicken, it was delicious. Had level seven spicy, but I think I'll crank it up to nine next time. Friendly service.

I ordered the pork belly bowl and it was $19 and I got 4 pieces of pork belly some carrots, broccoli and rice. When you see the picture you will see why I am so upset. My 1 year old grandson wouldn't have gotten full off of this.

I heard that the workers here are Chinese so not sure if it's owned by Thai people are not. Based on their pad Thai recipe it was not authentic. I can see why people would still enjoy their food if they never grew up eating real Thai food... This is the first time I had it with thin pho noodles. The cuts of meats were not uniformly chopped up and was chewy. It looked and tasted like it was precooked. The flavors were too tart and the noodles were soggy plus the sauce was watery. Noodles easily broke apart. I asked for a level 6 spicy and it was not even a level 1. It even smelled like lemons. The flavor was okay but I wouldn't call it pad Thai. The fried rice was also soggy and bland. This is more like Asian fusion food but they tried I guess.

Pros: nice service, really good egg roll appetizer with sauce Cons: glass goblets and paper plates and plastic forks? The flavors aren't as developed as other Thai restaurants we frequent. It's sad, I'm not even looking forward to eating my leftovers, which is usually such a fun thing about eating Thai food. Another thing is there is no bathroom.
