I have come to this outback so many times in the past. It's a Sunday not. Not so busy. Bar table area had many open tables. Even then the main seating area had open seats. Many new faces as far as servers go. Got seated fairly quickly. But no plates were given when we got the bread and blooming onion. Had to remind the server. Had to remind the server again what my drink was after the rest of my party received their drinks. And the biggest issue is, our main dish arrived before the soup and salads. HAD TO REMIND THE SREVERS AGAIN. Not sure if management changed but the serve is lacking. Food was bland and lacked flavor. Since they brought out the main course before the soups. It's not that enjoyable since it got cold

Surprisingly good! Came in out of curiosity, as I'd seen several of these but had never gone in. The steak was smaller than expected (I clearly have no idea of visual ounces), but so well seasoned and the potato (which I usually leave a part of) was also very good. The plate size in the end was perfect for me.

Very good! Went Sunday at 530, it was busy but we still got sat right away. The blooming onion was as good as I remember, and the steak and ribs were tender. Only draw back is the price, but for the amount of food, maybe split a dish?🤣

I will start off by saying the service and staff are consistently on point, every time I've come here. During weekend nights they're always full and staff is always doing their best, running around and such. Ordered their burger, but the patty was unseasoned and the meat was extremely soft, almost like eating Mashed potatoes. Wasn't very pleasant at all. Fries were great though Ordered the Salmon using the gluten free guide online, but got pretty bad gluten poisoning shortly after. Nothing in the dish (broccoli and seasoned salmon) had gluten, so it must have come from cross contamination from kitchen or something along those lines. Naturally this isn't anyone's fault, just be mindful that this was MY experience with it. Like I stated, staff and customer service was great, food was underwhelming.

Paco H. was an excellent server; attentive and the food was amazing as always. I tried something different - the Tasmanian chili. No beans; all beef. It was flaming hot and oh so delicious! Two thumbs up!!

It's been years since we've been to Outback, and some friends said let's go! I enjoyed their hit bread and butter, mmmm. Yummy. their appetzers were really good tooordered the coconut shrimp, and the mushrooms which were in a batter, but inside it tasted like sautéed mushrooms. Hubby got huge honkin' RibEye Original Steak and I ordered the salmon dish with asparagus. Very delicious! My husband said his steak was sooooo good!😋 Now there's nothing stopping us from going back!

Service was friendly, food was delicious, margarita was bomb, bread is amazing... we did not like the deep fried onion but everything else was enjoyable

A really nice steak restaurant, tasty food but be aware the sirloin steak and lobster meal is a little deceiving. The 11 ounce steak is small and the lobster is petite, not rock lobster. The picture on the menu makes them seem big, but not.

Great service… my partner and I had a wonderful dinner here. For a picky eater like myself, they were very accommodating.

Our 1st time for brunch. Used to go to nearby competition until last visit where their service and bloody Mary's were disappointing. Pleasantly pleased with service, menu options and simple but tasty bloody Mary's

I ordered to go and asked for medium. I got rare instead, so i have to cook it a little bit myself. Well there goes my money haha at least the bake potatoes are good.

Goodbye Outback Steak house. The steak and Grilled Shrimp combo with mash potatoes was not enjoyable. A medium well steak was burnt on one side and well done inside. I should have had a replacement but I stuck to it. A $30 meal plus a drink, come on restaurants. Get some quality control in that kitchen. The staff was nice and the reason it is not a 2 star rating.

It’s almost like you need meals like this every once in a while to remind you that the sweet is only as sweet without the bitter. Where do I start, it took about 15 minutes for us to even be acknowledged by our server. After that it took about another 35 minutes for us to get our drinks. The food was absolutely atrocious. The oil that our appetizers had been fried in, hadn’t been changed in a long time and was burnt. Everything was so greasy. We found a hair in our salad, but didn’t even bother to tell the server being that he would only visit the table every 30 minutes. The steaks were god-awful. All fat and gristle. At the end it was just hilarious. I was looking around feeling like I had done something wrong in life. Like I had ended up here, and some sort of punishment.

Our server Cesar was great, he was very attentive not only to our table but also to the tables around us. If you go there ask for him to be your server.

The food was ok but the service was horrible. I will go to an Outback Steakhouse just not that one. I have been to other OS and received great tasting food and great service.

Order through doordash. I thought I will wait 1 hour or so for my food to be ready and delivered to me but within 30 minutes the food is ready and on the way to deliveredto the house. Everything is good. Thank you.

It's Outback what can I say.. you can always find a good steak here, a little pricey for some but compared to bigger steak houses this is a bang for your buck. this location is near a mall so expect some wait times on weekends, but overall good environment good food and good service!

The food was excelent, It took a while for the food to arrive, like 25 min, and AC was to cold. But in general it's a good place to eat.

First and foremost, the managerial staff needs an overhaul, not having enough wait staff is on them. The service was solid, while the young lady busted her aspirin to provide service to her section. The food was okay. The bar service itself needs some assistance since they are making drinks and serving customers around the bar area. It seems that the South Bay area does not have a restaurant that can handle parties larger then 4 to 5 people. The wait was roughly 35 minutes but we still needed to wait for a server to come in.

I heard so many times to go eat there...not impressed, tried the Blooming Onion ..but it was so overcooked and super greesy....we ordered lobster but they were the size of a LG shrimp- just super small..the balsamic dressing was way to sweet . .so I did not eat my salad..my daughter ordered a different dressing and took 1 bite and pushed it away....I pretty much ate my steak and bread and packed the rest ,I didn't even bother to try the lobster I ordered...just disappointed for the price and the others with me felt the same about what they ordered....I mean it looked good on the plate..but looks are deceiving....ok I do have to say ...someone ordered coconut shrimp.....if you ever go....order that...she let me try 1 and cooked perfectly

Ribeye char grilled asked for rare, come overcooked/well done. Filet Victoria was really good , medium rare as asked. Aussie fries not crunchy, Tim tam with ice cream ok.

Outback steakhouse, the mid choice between Denny's and Ruth Chris but still good enough to enjoy a nice dinner (or lunch). I will say though that it is hit and miss when it comes to cooking. I've always said that it's not the establishment that makes the chef, it's the chef that makes the establishment. That said, you can't go wrong with the bread and blooming onion. Like I mentioned, this time I will give it 4 stars unlike last time it would be 2 stars and I don't think I would ever give them 5 stars because that would mean perfection and that's a tough one. As for the waiters, they sure make you wait. Maybe it's not their fault, it's managements fault. They make them wait on too many tables or maybe it's just substandard waiters attending. Either way, it lacks attention. So if you picked the right day and time, you may get good parking, a decent chef and a motivated waiter to have a decent lunch/dinner.

This is my second time here, first time was better than the second..I ordered the same thing I came here on fathers day my wife and I ordered the pasta 🍝 with steak and shrimp, a blooming onion 🧅 and one cocktail 🍹..First of all blooming onion was drenched in oil it was soggy and some parts were raw. Our pasta was sweet?? I tried my wife's and she tried mine just to be sure and yup who in the hell cooks sweet pasta?? It was just terrible 🤢 the shrimp where way over cooked amd skimpy the size of my thumb, the only decent thing about the pasta dish was the steak. Let's not forget about the cocktail that never came after I asked our waiter twice..and once it arrived I swear to you it was nothing but Kool aid sugar galore!!!. Man o man Outback Steakhouse in Plaza Bonita I really liked you the first time around and that was only a year ago but something happened to you guys and it's not for the better...stop taking short cuts take care of your customers and listen to what they have to say. I didn't complain to our waiter that day because I wanted to enjoy my father's day in peace with my family so I rather leave this review right here for you. Sorry I won't be coming back.

**Status Update #2** Well, shut my mouth! The ownership group's promise of gift cards came by FedEx yesterday, along with a nice letter. I will be raising the score I gave for the service from three to four out of 5 stars, and my overall experience star from 2 out of 5 stars to a 3 out of 5 stars. My wife and I will be going back to Outback again, although I am not sure if it will be the same one! ----------------------- **Status Update #1** I am happy to announce that my wife and I were contacted by the ownership group who apologized for our experience and have invited us to return after they've had a chance to speak to the staff. Because of how this has been handled, I will be raising the score I gave for the service from two to three out of 5 stars. ----------------------- I'll start off with the service. It was adequate but not memorable. The atmosphere was dingy, and the food was trash! Specifically, both the Bloomin' Onion and the Bloomin' Shrimp were super greasy. It was as if the batter and grease used desperately needed to be changed yesterday. The porterhouse I ordered was a huge disappointment. The seasoning was so bland that I asked for the A-1 Steak Sauce. On top of the fact that the lobster did not taste fresh, it was extremely dry as well. Lemon juice and butter were no help at all. Finally, about 25% of the plate of Bloomin' Shrimp was burnt crumbs, which I did point out to the staffer who brought out the food. And while he was kind enough to comp us one of the appetizers, it wasn't enough to take the bad taste out of my mouth on this one. The total for me, my wife & our youngest son came out to almost $150, which included 2 appetizers, 3 entries with 3 side orders, 2 premium non-refillable kiwi-strawberry drinks, as well as one Sprite. The discount for one entree brought the total down to about $137. Add in an 18% tip (yeah, ikr‽), and we basically burned $164 just to find out that the management team & cooks and dishwashers of the National City Outback Steakhouse need to be taken 'out back' to the woodshed for some re-training. Oh, did I forget to mention the food that was on my wife's drinking glass? My bad. Lol, and after re-reading this to my wife, she told me that the 'Strawberry Salad' that she ordered was also trash...smh.

Outback Steakhouse remains one of the best steak house. From sirloins to prime ribs, from shrimps to lobster tails, all are excellent and savory foods. Even after the covid outbreak, the food is much tastier. You will notice that the place is almost always full especially during weekends.

Took food to go and this was there order they made. After speaking to a other manager, that was concern on my service he gave me excelent service and takes care of his customers.

Ordered rib eye and sides with an onion soup. Impressed that our server did not use a tablet or paper to write down our order. When our soup came it was still very hot so, glad we were also given the salad to eat while the soup cooled down. I asked for no raw onion in my salad, but still came with. I ended up picking them out. Not too long after, the rest of the meal came. Wasn't ready to have the meal since we were still eating soup and salad and by the time we finished, the rib eye lost temperature. I asked for medium rare but looked and tasted like it was medium well. My baked potato was not fully cooked...soft but should have been more creamy. I don't blame our server but maybe expediting could have been tighter. I was looking forward to eating here since we haven't been for a while. I really wanted to love my meal but couldn't.
