I saw the reviews and was expecting good tacos. Like I wasn't even expecting the best tacos in the world but you know something to satisfy my hunger. Tacos de asada are $4.05, adobada tacos are 3.45. So disappointed. I ordered 4 asada tacos, 2 adobada tacos and a flan. I honestly thought the flan was gonna be homemade but it came in a little cup, packaged like it came out of Northgate. :( Also the adobada tacos had way too much pick de gallo, like where's the meat? It should've been even. Maybe this was a one time thing but for being a first time I wouldn't come again :(

Burritos got Sloppy. Quesadillas no Cheese. Just the tortilla pretty much. This place used to be great and I normally spend about $45 per visit. But today it was very dissapointing.

This is nothing new but so disappointed with customer service. I always prefer to call in my order but lately either they dont answer the phone or place you on hold for over 15 minutes. By then im already at Sunbow location to place my order in person. While standing in front of register to place my order staff looking at personal phone and sharing some social media video. Finally someone takes my order and in the middle of it asks another staff member if she should continue taking phone orders (1 1/2 hr before closing. When told yes she rolled her eyes before she finished taking my order. My order was going to take 2o to 25 minutes again nothing new. There were two tables available and both were dirty with food and utensils on table and empty water cups on seats. I chose to stand while waiting when a young lady took her break at one of the dirty tables. She made a phone call and loudly complained about how tired she was and how bad she smelled like carne asada. To top it off she used profanity language and customer's waiting kept looking towards her with disappointment. I decided to walk away in order to not have to hear her and went to salsa bar to prepare salsas to go. Salsa bar was practically empty and messy. Zero radishes with the exception of some floating in water including utensil. I've been coming to this location for years and each time I come back ithe quality of the food is worse. Smaller portions at a higher price with the option for extra carne asada @ $3 extra. Seriously!!! Will not be going there again nor do I recommend it. Here's picture of staff sharing social media instead of providing customer service. Lastly, the girl with long hair is the one with the foul language at break and with loose hair at working area. So, disappointed 😞

Lolitas restaurant is the worst food ever. Waited 40 minutes to get a sandwich with cold chicken that taste like can fish. Is not worth the visit at all. Restaurant is a joke it should be out of business. Desgusting will never recommend any one to came here.

I’ve eaten at lolitas since 2011-2012 and the portions have gotten smaller(by half), but price has increased much more than inflation dictates. Quality of food is going down. Don’t eat here. Burros and fries will be 300% better than lolitas.

Worse place ever, poor customer service and extremely pricey. Dirty tables. I order 3 roll tacos with cheese and got 3 skinny tacos with a little bit of cotija. I asked for more cheese and added an additional 1.25 Not going back for sure.

There is no reason why a carne asada burrito plain should take more than 40 minutes—it’s the same amount of time it would take to go buy the ingredients and make it yourself—so why not cut out the middle man? Moreover, the reason it took more than 40 minutes is because they prioritize phone order over in person—as the phone orders are larger and clearly more lucrative. Clearly, it highlights how little they value the customers time as at no time was I told that there could be a delay with my food. In conclusion, it’s blatantly obvious that its profits over customer service for this restaurant.

AirPods fell out of my pocket while eating in the restaurant. Noticed they were gone hours later. Find my devices told me they were still in the restaurant. Went back and asked the employees, all said no one turned them in. Meanwhile, the find my devices updated and said they were still in the restaurant. They tried to tell me maybe a customer found them, yet they were still in the restaurant hours later which clearly shows someone working there had them, yet they lied to my face. Luckily, I tracked them later in the evening and it showed them at a unit in National City. I’ll be contacting National City police to help assist me in recovering them from the employee. Shame on you, lying, awful employees. Quite pathetic. Tacos were good though.

Ordered 2 small carne asada fries and 2 5-roll tacos. They only charged and gave us 1 carne asada fries. Took over 30 minutes to receive our order, so I ordered food from a different place. They had 4 young girls behind the register, they were talking as they were taking our order, laughing and looking at each other's phones. If I could give a zero for service and food I would, can't rate food that I ordered and never received! I would not recommend this spot at all. Food is good, but being San Diego, there is a lot of competition without the rude service and better prices!

Picked up our order of RolledTacos with guac and cheese at 830pm. What we got:5 rt, a tbsp of guac no cheese. Called back at 845. They must've closed early bc there was no one when we picked up. The last time we ordered were acosted by an employee that wanted to discuss politics with us. Clearly we did not want to discuss MONKEY POX but he insisted we should be worried. Never again will we patronize Lolita's ever.

25 minute wait for 10 rolled tacos and 1 bean & cheese burrito. Tacos and burrito bland in flavor. No tomatoes on tacos. Only a pinch of queso fresco on the bland guac. Beans were dry. No clear wait area = Cluster. Not worth the wait.✋ I recommend going to Don Roman by Sharp Rees Stealy.

We love Lolitas! Burritos are my favorite, but plates are great, too, with rice and beans. Brought a friend with me this time, and she loves the food. The atmosphere outside is great, and they announce your name on the speaker when your food is ready.

Eat in is always great....takeout is consistently disappoint. The online app doesn't work well, they mess up the order frequently and the food quality is noticeably sub-par. Recommend only dine in

I ordered my food to go over the phone like few minutes and I picked up my food not knowing that they're going to mess up my order. I asked no sour cream and no pico de gallo on my large carne asada fries since my son and I are allergic to it. When we got home my son open the order and we both saw sour cream. Obviously we can't eat our dinner. Not happy.

Little to no cheese on our pollo and carne asada chips and fries. The cook sucked for details.

Ordered the Carne chips and tsunami chips, but they gave me tsunami fries. The food was still good. I accidentally threw away the basket and they made dig the trash to get it..thankfully it was on top. It was an honest mistake.

Been coming here for years whenever my daughter is in town, I don't know what happened but what a disappointment this time, the food was nowhere near the quality it used to be, with the first bite I knew the oil they use to deep fry tasted months old, the meat was tough and chewy, the guacamole was not fresh and it was overall below the quality we expected, and we were charged for extras we didn't get. We will not return!

Ordered 3 rolled tacos rice and beans and this is what i got. Brown guacamole with very little cotija cheese, no flavor. I ordered 3 orders and this was the best looking ones of the 3. Very disappointing. This is my first time ever leaving a review for any restaurant.

Wasted my time, money and bad food. First time customer. I called in a phone order, came at the instructed time. The food wasn’t ready so I paid left a very respectful tip and sat down by the register. We sat in the restaurant for over 30 minutes waiting never being called for our order. Finally got up to ask about it. I waited again at the counter for another 5 minutes for a personal conversation between employees to finish up before I finally was acknowledged. I asked about my order and the guy said oh yeah it’s ready. I asked how long has it been waiting and the girl he was talking to chimed in and said a while. I asked why no one called me and he said “I don’t know.” Food was soggy and cold and I didn’t get my added guacamole. This experience sucked.

Love this place. However. They don’t put enough sour cream or guacamole on the carne asada fries. So I’m literally just eating cold hard fries with meat… it’s very disappointing because not all fries get coated and I don’t get the full experience. I also don’t plan on paying extra for sour cream and guacamole. I feel it’s a given that there should be a good balance for what I’m paying. 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

The tortilla for my chicken crispy taco was so hard it was inedible. Same for my husband. The carnitas on my non crispy taco were crispy like a tortilla chip. One item was missing from my order. The service staff was very nice though. I’m not even going to bother contacting them for a refund for the item I didn’t receive, since I won’t be returning, it was only a $4 taco. And I tipped lol! Big fail on all fronts. Check your order before you leave!

Lolitas mexican food, parking was good may be because was evening no long lines, service its ok but flavor of food and drinks is not what it used to be, will go back soon to double check.

No matter if there’s a line of people or no people the wait is always no less than 20 minutes and mostly upward of 30 mins. Workers in front are rude and don’t make eye contact when you approach to ask for anything. They just walk past as if you don’t exist.

Literally the best carne asada fries I've ever had. To be fair, I recently stopped trying to find any better because I'm disappointed every time I try someone else's. Their Chile Relleno was delightful, as well. We even dipped some fries in the Relleno sauce. We get the guac and sour cream on the side.

Down visiting my home town. Lolitas on palomar was a disappointment. Not the taste I remember. Got my name wrong so I didn't go up when food was ready. Hence cold food.

Worst place ever, customer service is really bad, they don't take phone orders, food quality is bad, don't waste your time trying to call or even worst coming in person. I live couple blocks from this place and prefer to drive miles to other mexican food places.

Food was pretty good no complaints. I got the chicken rolled tacos and my order came out pretty fast. It was a nice portion of food and the price was very good. I fed 3 people with $24.

If you're looking for a delicious authentic mexican food restaurant.....avoid this place. The food is mediocre at best, the meat is bland and dry, but not nearly as dry and hard to bite through as their tortillas. My "2in1" burrito with "extra" Carne Asada last night took almost 50 minutes to get to me, had the most miserable serving of meat even when I paid for extra meat (and didn't just get charged for the extra, they added a surcharge on top of that) so I paid around $17 for a single burrito that had HARD, STALE tortilla wrapped around it like 3 times, DRY, UNDERSEASONED meat, and the two rolled tacos inside made up the bulk of the filling. Absolutely miserable time here, I'd rather drove to Broadway on the other side of town and go to Roberto's. Or go to Palm and eat at Teresita's Fruteria.
