The food and service are excellent. My only problem is that they don't take credit cards and I didn't know that. They do however have an ATM that you can use to pay but charges you the typical convenience fee. Didn't like that. That means that you have to pay for food, drinks, tip and the ATM convenience fee. It can get expensive. Suggest you start accepting credit cards.

I came here thinking it’s a taco truck, turns out, it’s a whole restaurant. Great tacos; birria tacos are very nice. Beef tacos are also a great option. Consommé is flavorful but they only give you a small cup. Great place for a quick bite. Service is nice and friendly.

One of the Best birrias in San Diego if not the best one. Really affordable prices excellent service. Food is really flavorful. I highly recommend the birria tacos in my personal opionion the the blandos or dorados are the way to go. They also have other options in their menu like menudo chilaquiles carne asada milanesa etc etc. Even if they are busy service is fast and good. The staff is friendly and I haven’t experienced any trouble with the service or food. Clean place big parking lot and excellent food quality. 5 stars every time I go there. Thank you guys !

I got an orden de birria and it came extremely salty and lukewarm. We were seated outside and it seemed as though our server had forgotten about us. Everything was overpriced because of how underwhelming the food and service was. I don't recommend this place especially since they don't accept card even though their signs say they do.

Very good, the birria was made of beef not goat. I do not recommend regular coffee was too bitter.

Food was fantastic. One of the best birra places. Very nice a clean inside. Lots of TV’s with great Latin music. Cash only after 3pm.

Quesa birria taco was delicious! Visited a few ago and I felt like it was ok but gave it another chance and it wad delicious!! I'm glad it was good because I need a go to birria place! Had a modelo mechilada and that was also a plus! Service was fast and great. Only issue they were cash only. I guess the machine goes down but I remember this before so not sure if it's once in a while or all the time!

It's unfortunate that the service was terrible and management even worse. The food was great, and the only employee who deserves a tip is the cook. They forgot to put in an order for my daughter, and the server only came to check on our table twice. The guy with the black shirt, possibly a manager or owner, has no professionalism drinking with its customers and lets customers go behind the bar where other people's drinks are prepared. I wish this place the best.

They have a food truck located at 1777 Palm Ave, San Diego, CA 92154. Good tacos and good salsa. We prefer tacos dorados (crispy). By the time you get home they are not soggy… They need to improve their customer service. I’ve been in this location a couple of times and I have to leave because they barely opening or they are cleaning. So, if you are not so hungry, this is your place… it is more like a brunch place.

Very friendly staff and manager, i ordered the birria to go and honestly it came very warm and not hot. It should have came hotter or i should have reheated it when I got home. I wouldnt say i got food poisoning, but my bowels hated me for atleast 2 days. 💀 Please, I hope management can read this and address it.

12/7/22 1:30 pm food truck in san ysidro 2 stars becuase the cashier has poor customer service. All i asked is if they accept card and she responded with "eh?" With an Attitude and gave me a dirty look for speaking english i guess . I wouldve loved to order more items but i was too emabarassed. The cook on the other hand very polite respectfull and served us free comsome and provided extra napkins when of course you need that when your eating birria . He was awsome ! 5 + stars just for him . The Food Was Good ! The salsa is bomb real chile NOT water down tomatoes sauce . The birria had lots of flavor . I wouldve LOVED to have tried more items on the menu but with the girls' attitude, i was emabarrased to order more stuff becuase my spanish is not that great my bf had to order for me .

Very friendly and quickly seated. The waiter was very attentive and provided extra lemons and napkins. We ordered birria tacos and tostadas with cheese with birria. The tacos came with cabbage so requested it on the side instead. The Horchata drinks were refreshing. We enjoyed our experience and food, definitely returning for birria!

Second time trying this place out. The food is really good. I think the options they have are better than most birrierias. Service was good but could be better. It wasn't very busy, yet our server forgot all about one of our ordered items. Atmosphere is nice. Good music playing at a good volume. I like that it feels a bit more private since the windows are dark.

I think now that it is 2023, they should accept card, I wouldn’t recommend my friends or family to visit this restaurant, because if they really cared about there customers they would let the customer know that the place only takes cash, I was a new customer and this was not said to me at any time not from when I was greeted or from the waiter. At the end they looked at me and said they don’t take card only cash and they showed me the little sign that is no where in a persons view sight. It is literally at the bottom corner when you walk in, nobody can see that. I had came in only with my credit card and I was not about to take out cash so it was lucky that my friend had there debit card with them and was able to take out cash, they charge a $2 fee to take out cash. What if I was by myself, then what would’ve happened, would they let me go and come back? One of the employees kept apologizing to me but I don’t think it was sincere at all, if they cared about new customers they should at least give some type of warning when you walk in or put a sign that says CASH ONLY where people can actually see it. That ATM is just there for there own benefit.

The location is easy to find, the place is very nice and clean. The bathroom is clean and it smells good. The food has a really good flavor however, the wait time to get the food is quite long. Reason Why I give them a 4 stars rating.

I am very disappointed in this place. Me and my husband went a couple months back (during the week) it was empty and the food was GREAT! It did take a little while to come out but it was great. We returned today (Saturday) needless to say there was more people. Waitress was not as friendly but we understand it was busy kinda. Their fb page said they served carne asada fries at all locations so I ordered that for my daughter and they told us they don’t serve that here. So we opted for something diff in hopes my daughter would eat it. I ordered what i ordered last time but this time it came with cabbage. I let the waiter know it didn’t come with it last time and she started to go back and forth with me even asking other waiters if it always comes with it until one waiter said it was fine to take it back and remake it. By this time my husband and daughter are done eating and I’m waiting for my food. It comes out and it’s wrong again. I ultimately just asked her to take it off the check as I didn’t eat it. She did not apologize or offer to remake it so we paid and left. If the owner can see these reviews you need to spend some time in there. Because I was still in the mood for Birria we went down the street to birrieria y menuderia Guadalajara and had a table before we even stepped inside. Food was great and much cheaper and the service is a1.
