Been going to Lolita’s for years! Overall they are a solid place to get decent Mexican food. They are consistent when it comes to taste - service varies - but never horrible. When it is busy - you will wait… typically go for lunch or non-busy times. I do recommend for lunch - the value is absolutely worth it.

This place is really good. Best Mexican food I had in a long time!! Definitely will be back. Nice addicting spicy salsa, too! Yummy 😋

Haven't been to a Lolitas in a couple of years. Went in today with good expectations. Ordered small carne asada fries with extra guacamole, was charged for it. Got home and had to scrape off meat to find normal amount of guacamole.

This spot and the original Lolita’s location are hands down the best! Best Carne asada fries and no matter the size the carne asada is always fully loaded on. The rolled tacos are also really good!

I was pleasantly surprised when I ordered the Carne Asada. It was very flavorful, tender pieces of meat. The beans remind me of my dad's, refried in good ol bacon grease, yummy! The rice is good too.

Kids and I go there after having fun at Skyzone. Their beans are so good. We tried the loaded nachos and they were awesome. Shredded beef burrito was very tender and had good flavor. The salsa bar is good. Wish they had spicier salsa though, but the radishes and cebollitas are a nice touch.

Post COVID Update. Still serving awesome street tacos. Delicious and exactly what this weary traveler needed. Staff are super friendly as always and it was great seeing people come together again after so long. Great food. HUGE portions.

Pretty good street tacos! Convenient, and inexpensive. Corn tortillas were good but not spectacular.

Horrible establishment with incompetent employees. All the employees say is sorry and it should be out soon. All employees have no balls here to be honest with the customer or admit fault that you forgot to make my order. All they say is sorry sorry sorry like a robot. We’re all Human and I know mistakes happen but accountability goes a long way. Instead of telling the customer I don’t know it should be coming out soon - when In reality it’s not cause you forgot to make my order - take accountability! Resolve the situation - offer a free drink - take charge - stop being scared. Waiting for 1 hour for my food when you tell me it’s a 35 minute at the register is totally unacceptable. And this night you had more than 1 angry customer waiting in your lobby. It was obvious all around!

Awesome place to eat, the decor is really nice. I had to minus 1 star due to the amount of meat, I understand that there is inflation, and had to shut down for a little bit during Covid, but compared to other Mexican restaurants, they give some of the lowest amounts. The Carne Asada however, is very well seasoned and cooked.

Pretty terrible service, the cashier barely spoke, when I placed a pretty simple order she seemed lost. No greeting, no thank you, an incorrect order, and barely able to hear anyone when it was ready, all in all a thumbs down. I don't think I will go back as it was as of I had to do the work for her. If you do order be sure they greet you, tell you you can approach to order, have them repeat the order to you and check it accuracy. I

Even though it is a growing chain of restaurants it has a close to homestyle taste. You will not be disappointed eating at Lolita's for your taco fix.

Ordered a Tsunami burrito and evidently they have decided to cut costs. What should have been steak and shrimp ended up being mostly lettuce. This was hands down the worst burrito! This is a surefire way to lose customers. Good thing Birria Kings is opening up next door! You would think Lolitas would try and keep up with the competition rather than cheat their customers and drive a steak through their own heart! Oh well, glad the shopping center now has great alternatives.

Ordered tsunami chips 6/8/2023 tasted great. 5 hours later worst diarrhea of my life with gas and bloating and sick. food poisoning!! totally scared to ever eat here again.

I phoned in my order and when I arrived I saw the sign over a separate register for phone orders and pick up. I waited in line then the cashier kept asking customers from the order here line and took their order. I asked her if this was the line for phone orders and she said they only had one line! What’s the point of the sign? I watched so many customers do the same thing as I waited for my food and no one told them as they stood in the wrong place an inefficient system and why have the signs that designate and separate phone orders and pick up from order here customers. I also was told my order would take 25 minutes and it ended up taking 40 minutes. The pizza I ordered and coordinated the timing of pick up with my Lolita’s order sat in my car getting cold. I was disappointed to say the least

The carne asada meat they make is great. Love the flavor and texture. The Spanish rice is also good. Having said that, the refried beans and french fries seemed like they came from a package. Be prepared to wait for your food after placing your order. Ours took over 30 minutes to come out so order ahead of you can. My carne asada burrito was half empty. All the meat and guacamole was on one end with French fries filling up the rest. Parking is easy with the large lots. It’s located in an outdoor food court setting behind the fountain. Right next door is what looks like a church in a commercial space.

Fantastic breakfast burrito! Flavorful, bountiful, and perfect for the takeout. The dining area was clean, employees were courteous and helpful. I went during the weekday on a morning - it wasn’t busy at all. I will definitely be returning with my whole crew - yar!!🦜

Family brought us here for lunch and it did not disappoint. Great price and good sizes for what you pay. Would definitely eat here again.

We ordered a small and large carne asada fries for dine in. Food came out less than 5mins and the staff was nice to change the TV channel but the food was served cold. The fries were stale and cold and on top of that the meat was not even warm. Paid $26 plus change for leftovers

Fantastic, fresh, delicious! Recommend Lolita’s with five stars! We go at least once a week. Chili Relano, rice and beans are delish! Salads are crisp and filling. Rolled tacos are the best.

Came in Dec 29 during dinner time, wait was 30-35 mins long for dine in, no problem. We’ll wait. Receive our carne asada fries, California burrito. Fries we cold and undercooked with barely any meat.

Not impressed with the service or food. Took over an hour for a burrito and refried beans ! Actually went back thinking maybe was a bad day for them but sadly was the same situation . Poor service and mediocre food . Hopefully in the future they can be better staffed with experienced and professional staff.

Ordered through the phone. Half order of carne asada fries and half order carne asada chips. Was told it'd be ready in 25 mins. Arrived 20 minutes after I made the call, paid for the food and was told it wasn't ready yet. Waited patiently for about 20 minutes and finally asked the status of my order. The girl at the counter said it's not ready yet. Waited another 25 minutes and finally received my order. No apologies given what so ever. At least acknowledge to your many customers waiting that you're short staffed and the wait will be longer than usual. This has happened on more than one occasion. The staff needs work on their customer service as well. 1 star for customer service, adding 2 stars because the food is good.

Food great, customer service and hospitality off the chain. They didn’t sweat the fact that we came in 20 minutes before they closed. I really appreciated not being rushed as we were all really tired and hungry from a long day. Much love and gratitude to them.

I took my family a little over a month ago to this Lolita's location. I have been there many times and suggested it to my family. It was around 7:30 pm when we arrived. We walked into the restaurant it was 30% full. Before we started to look at the menu we were greeted by 5 employees standing at the front counter. They were very eager to tell is that there was a wait time of over an hour. This didn't sound right Mexican fast food restaurant a bunch of employees standing around not doing anything and an hour wait. I was very disappointed especially since I recommended this place. The only reason I am writing this is for the owner of this restaurant. I also own a couple of business with 90 plus employees and understand that the owners can't be at every location at all times. Just wanted to make you aware of what's going on at your Eastlake location.

Since moving to Chula Vista this has become our go to spot when we have a craving for California burritos or carne asada fries. I also appreciate that they are super accommodating when it comes to custom orders, which is nice since I can't eat cheddar. Usually I take out, but they also have a Pokemon Go poke stop within range of the outdoor seating area!

Surprisingly the food was really good. Carne asada fries were bomb. Meat was really flavorful. Salsa was good and spicy. The large was enough to share. I had rolled tacos. They were good but average. I only gave lolitas 4 stars and not 5 because they offer green onions but they are raw not grilled. Other than that, I would definitely recommend this place!

If you're talking comfort food. There's nothing better for lunch than a Carne asada burrito or Carne asada chips don't forget to I try their enchiladas too. Yum

The experience at this particular site was Awful!!! I was there before the two busy lunch lines, the last to leave. Asked for a refund because time was an essence. Kept telling me it'll be ready in a minute. I'd should've check my food before I left. My refined beans was cold, the rice was lukewarm. The tacos were warmest because they just made them. I Love their restaurant in Otay and Clairmont. The experience and food is totally different!

This is exactly what my wife ordered. She had to trash the whole thing in the trash can. “Very greasy like crazy greasy. Don’t look at the photos and think it looks like that no puddles of greasy. Got a taco and burrito plate and wow burrito was so soggy and very gross just meat and nothing else it’s nasty and swampy best word to describe. Beans are so greasy like nasty puddles of oil in it. Honestly very gross food I’m assuming all the restaurants are like this so I’m so shocked this restaurant has one location let alone multiples. Very disgusting don’t waste your money on greasy soggy Mexican food go to old town and have real Mexican food” Well said by the author
