We just happened on this pace while in town. It was VERY busy, even though we were there at 5pm. However, we got a table right away. Servers were friendly and attentive. Our food arrived quickly. Quesadilla platter was perfect. Fajita salad was a bit oily and very salty. It’s a cool family vibe and flavors were good.

We ate here for the first time. And this place was great! We ordered the comal which is carne asada, chicken and shrimp on a bed of grilled onions on a hot sizzling cast iron skillet with half an avocado on top with pico, delicious. We also got the queso fundido (ps we ordered the queso well done) which has so much flavor! My wife ordered the large margarita... Be warned large should be labeled MEGA, definitely not for one person size of like 3 margaritas in one. Overall great place nice solo guitar singer and friendly service!

Did not like it, chef tried giving me a low priced, thin cut beef cut for Arrachera. Really dissapointed with the food. The service and the margaritas are good but the food is not. Be ready to pay $$$ its expensive diner is not less that 18.00-25.00

Great service with great food. We got sat immediately at a booth for two individuals. The ambiance was filled with Mexican art and great Spanish classic songs from Chente, jenni Rivera and Juan Gabriel. When the food came out, the Chile verde and carnitas plate were smelling delicious. We had side orders of rice and beans. Highly recommend this Mexican style restaurant.

Love it! We had the mimosa brunch. Delicious mimosas you get 3 with your meal. I ordered the chorizo con papa omelet with rice and beans. Mm mm mm!! 😋 delicious. And the guitarist walking around and singing was the perfect touch for a lively vibe! 100%recommend!

I haven’t been to Murrieta’s in about 32 years (they’ve been around a long time). My parents enjoy going, so we decided to join them this evening. Everything was delicious (see photos)… from the crispy chips and two different kinds of salsa, the marinated carrots, the margaritas (regular and tamarindo), all of our entrées, and even the churros (filled with vanilla). We sat on the patio and arrived at 4:00 PM, strategically before the dinner rush. We were offered heat lamps if needed. As we were leaving around 5:20ish, there was already a line of cars pulling into the driveway waiting for parking spots. The staff and specifically our server, Valeria, made this such a great dining experience for me and my family. Valeria was friendly, attentive, accommodating, and on top of everything. If only we could experience this type of customer service everywhere we dined. Thank you Valeria, we’ll be back! I took off one star for the temperature of our food. Valeria kindly reheated my mom’s albondigas and a couple of our other plates were room temperature. It still tasted good but would have been better if it was hot. Overall, I was highly impressed!

The restaurant is pretty. They have the old traditional Mexican look with the Adobe style and colorful decor. The restaurant can easily seat large parties and has a full bar. There is outside seating as well. The bar is nice, and they have beer on tap. The food was a little overpriced for what was given, I felt my guacamole was horribly small for its price. EL Toritos would do an entire table side fresh hand made option of guacamole 2x the size for the same price. I ordered a Stella beer, and I didn't receive a Stella, I don't know what they brought me. Possibly the coors light or modelo was tapped into the wrong handle..? We had a larger party, so the food took a little time, which was expected, but the servers kept up on the chips and salsa, which was awesome. Although they didn't pre-bus our table unless asked, so we had lots of plates hanging around clogging the table. I think what made me rank the service at 2 stars was all the food came out but 1 persons. And it took a very long time to come, most of us finished our meals before his tamales arrived. That can and will easily kill the vibe when everyone can not enjoy their food together. All and all it was ok.. could have easily raised the stars with a few adjustments.

I had the shrimp burrito and found it had no flavor. The shrimp enchiladas my friend ordered had 3-4 shrimp for $18, but they offered him another no problem with plenty of shrimp. Drinks are good, atmosphere was fine, service was good. Probably only go back for drinks and chips personally.

Enjoyed the food and time with family. Enchiladas de la crema and Carne asada burritos. Also liked the salsa and spiced carrots. A go-to place for us when visiting Bonita!

I love this place. My significant other had introduced this place & I sure glad he did. The chicken mole is best! The service is great & FAST!!!! I also love the environment & decor. ***Update*** 11-26-18 I have been craving the mole here for over a month. I finally came by & as soon as I walked in with my family & I'm greeted & got seated. The waiter was amazing! My son had a blast talking to him about the salsa being too hot for him, so the waiter brought him a kid friendly mild salsa. Which was very kind of him & I appreciated it a lot. My son being a picky eater actually liked the salsa! Everything was delicious 👏 It was so good we didn't take any left over food home ... our tummies were full of all that great food. I hope everyone enjoys themselves here because it is worth it!!

Food was pretty good as I got the fish taco plate and it was more than I expected for the price. I ordered a beer from the tap and it was straight flat. Service was a little a slow but the waiter was nice! Also this is a Mexican Restaurant and it was so quiet as in where's the music? The table's conversation next to us can be heard everywhere!

I wish the food was worth the price. You're paying for the atmosphere and the amazing service, not the food. It tastes like if Applebee's were a Mexican restaurant. I've been disappointed every single time in the mediocre food and wont be going back anymore. Good margaritas, though. The chicken enchiladas are particularly bad. It's just cut up chunks of chicken breast like you'd have in a salad wrapped in a tortilla. Pretty sure it's the same chicken. No love goes into this food.

If you're in the mood for great Mexican food, visit this place. Plenty of parking, easily accessible for handicapped individuals. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The food and drinks were very satisfying, even better than expected. Our waiter was fun and attentive. We'll be coming back soon!

After playing Bonita Golf Course, it's a great pit stop for a cold beer before heading home. The Chips, salsa and cured carrots alone make it a great stop lol! Good appetizers as well.

The food was excellent! I got serenaded about my green eyes. Fun relaxing Sunday afternoon. Nice staff! My boyfriend has been there many times. This was my first time! We'll be back again & again!

Great service! I had an idea after only trying the chips and salsa that the food was going to be good (That's always a good indicator) I ordered the Camarones a la diabla plate. The amount of flavor and depth in the sauce was soo deep and rich 🤤 The shrimp were a nice size and cooked fresh and to perfection, not rubbery at all. Even the sides that came with the dish were great. I also had the Chamango and Tamarindo Margaritas 🍹 I absolutely recommend the Chamango! They were both so good and blended perfectly (I wish I would have ordered a large instead ) Extra points for the cute cactus details on the Margarita glass 🌵 And all staff was very attentive and friendly. It's always nice when multiple people are checking on you at your table not just your waiter. It's a very comfortable vibe 😌 I loved the food 🥰 Very authentic and very delicious ..excuse me while I go finish my left overs 🤤
