I decided to take my uncles dog to get groomed and all that was in my way was tracking down her vaccination records. With the appointment already set and news that my uncle only thought he had them, I was afraid she wouldn’t get her spa day. He went ahead and called Amazon Animal Hospital to see if they possibly still had her record. Very easy peasy, they had her file, mentioned I’d be on my way and picked it up within a minute of arriving. Negra had her spa day after all :’)

The best vet. Wonderful experience and employees. We take our dog and bird there. Plus as an added bonus they do a free follow-up appointment. That's amazing!!

Old lady at front desk needs some training, very rude. Can see all the employees with their tail stuck between their legs, too afraid to be fired. Negative atmosphere. Our cat never hisses, as soon as he heard that old lady voice his back spiked up and tail fluffed up. Doesn't take a Vet to understand what that means.

For 15 years I trusted the care of my cat and dog to dr. Hibi...for the greater part of the first 10 years, I have no complaint...my disappointment came at the end of my pet's life. My dog had an enlarged heart since youth...and by her 14th year, she had developed a severely collapsed trachea...unfortunately, Dr. Hibi was more distracted, arrogant, and negligent to br able to treat her for it. He automatically treated her for heart failure and never explored any other possibilities until it was too late...I went back week after week to get him to call for a referral sonogram he requested, and Sandra belligerent denied access to Dr. Hibi...I wasn't looking for a check up on my pet, but for the referral. Denied seeing him forbover 2 weeks, I finally had to pay for an appointment for follow-up on a previous one. By then, it was too late, and my dog choked to death. If you love your pet, go somewhere else. As Sandra told me bluntly, they work to THEIR convenience, now, and NOT to the need of your pets...no matter if it's deadly. Cold, careless, arrogant NEGLIGENCE. This business should be SHUT DOWN.

They were fast, kind and gentle. Dr. Hibi was a pleasure to work with. I'm really glad I took my chinchilla to see them. Not only was it an all around good experience but their billing is more than reasonable. Thank you.

Dr. Hibi is the best and his staff as well. I love bringing both of my pigs to see him. He’s taken good care of my Mando since he has bad allergies.

Been coming here for many many years. One time we had a bit of an issue but that was corrected quickly. My pets are loved here the staff is very nice and caring. Dr. Hibi is a great vet and they are also very kind. When my daughters precious Guinea pig passed the staff was very kind to my daughter while she was grieving her Stinky’s passing. I’ve been taking my dog Luna since 2020. Vet and assistants have always been so helpful and punctual. I recommend this place to anyone that looking for a good Veterinarian in the South Bay Area.

Smoothly got my 40lb reactive dog in and out for her rabies vaccine. Made sure she was comfortable and had plenty of room to walk in and out of the clinic. The process was very simple and matter of fact, it wasn’t “overdone” because my dog has a nervous demeanor. I appreciated it a lot because calm and easy is the way to go with my insecure dog. Great prices as well as great, quality service, which can sometimes be difficult to find. All staff felt very competent. Really appreciate it, you guys!

I already had a terrible experience with this place during covid with the rude receptionist hanging up on me but decided to give them a 2nd chance because a family member recommended. This place is disorganized and the people here are not only rude but seem too stressed out and it shows in their interaction with their clients. Omar was the only one who was pleasant

I 100% RECOMMEND Animal Animal Hospital! I've been taking my fur baby here for years and the staff and Dr. Hibi are WONDERFUL, CARING AND VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE. Dr. Hibi, is a wonderful DR. and his prices are very reasonable. I have been to other vets here in San Diego, and all other vets want to do is order all kind of test which might not be necessary. Dr. Hibi, is not like other vets, he will try other alternatives first, he is a great Vet, because he knows what is going on with your pet by examining your pet first and asking questions. Dr. Hibi, will only order labs or X-rays if treatment doesn't work or if he thinks, bloodwork or X-rays are very necessary. The manager and staff are wonderful they always go above and beyond to help AND answer any questions I may have. Dr. Hibi and his staff are the only people, I trust my fur baby for EXCEPTIONAL CARE!! It said I can ask vet questions n they would answer me I explained my problem I needed there help because of problem I was having with my puppy I was so scared and got in touch with them because can't afford a vet. I told them all the symptoms and when they were about to answer they asked me for $5 before they can tell me but I didn't even have a cent to my name because unemployed because lost job when COVID hit and haven't been able to get work. I couldn't believe them I'm here sitting with my puppy crying so stressed out n hurt cus can't take him to vet. Thank god it looks like he's doing a bit better we're praying and crossing our fingers it's all about time now just laying with him and hoping he's gonna pull through. Thank you for listening and how awful for them to do such a thing and supposedly be there for people who can't afford help

The zoo is very nice, clean and huge! You can see that the animals are very el taken care off. I do recommend taking the tour bus which will give you the opportunity to see a lot more. Love that you can also use a kangaroo bus that allows you to hop on and off to avoid walking so much. Zoo keepers were very courteous.
