As I was checking out, with multiple orders so I was paying with different cards. The Asian lady with blonde curly hair and the one with black hair at the front came all in my face and started touching stuff in my cart. Basically accusing me of stealing. They would not leave me alone and stood over me the whole transaction. She even moved and picked up stuff out of my cart EVEN after I told her that I was still paying for that. Absolutely crazy. I reported her to the sales manager and he was very kind. But to the lady, shame on her, they need to train their staff better.

Yolanda is a real piece of work. The way she treats Robert the older gentleman working as a curiosity clerk is beyond. It's amazing how she wears "I Love Christ Jesus" and then treats her coworkers as such. Sure Robert might not be the best at bagging and can often over bag the bags, BUT, there is kindness and then there is treating your coworker with such hostility that you misrepresent your entire religion. I'd love to see the reviews of her performance by secret shoppers...I'll be avoiding her lane at all cost. Work place abuse shouldn't be tolerated.

Lines are way too long. People come to this store to shop for service. That's why we pay the high prices.

I will always stop st Ralph's Store. I love to buy chicken & hamburger patties ready for the stove. All spiced up & sliced. And I am able to use Ralph's card for discounts. So glad I stopped in.

Friendly, helpful employees and wide selection of high quality foods including plant-based foods. The floral department has plenty of options for any occasion including balloons.

Ralph's is such a childhood grocery store. The appearance is comforting and it is always well stocked and clean. The staff is always smiling and you see staff everywhere always doing something but willing to walk you to the item your looking for. I appreciate this store and love shopping here. Thanks to my neighborhood Ralph's. This drink is amazing. I only find it here.

Great selection of items and also holiday and seasonal varieties. Easy self-checkout as well.

One of our favorite neighborhood stores. They carry Kroeger products that are comparable to brand names in quality but for a fraction of the price. Ralphs continue to exceed our expectations in terms of service and products they carry.

Good store, but is there really any reason for it to be open after 1400 on Thanksgiving Day? Give the employees a break ... and the shoppers an incentive to plan ahead and not lead such spur of the moment lives.

Well I live in the middle of the Ralphs on Otay Lakes Rd and East Palomar St. So I go to the one that's closest to me at the time. But both of these stores are always clean and I really love that and appreciate that!!

I bought 3 items for a grand total of $28. Item 1 antacid, item 2 lbs of beef and pork mixed, and item 3 guacamole. The store was clean:) Employee at the self checkout seemed to be focused on plastic bags being needed, but that is part of their duties.

No regular check out lanes open for wine, or alcohol at 9:00 pm on 9/29/22z When asked to be ringed up at customer service desk, they said wine can be purchased at self checkout out. Once bf tried to check out they opened a regular lane to only ring up wine after he had paid for the rest of groceries. Why make him go through two check outs? This was extremely rude and a no respect for time of customer having to be checked out twice. Customer service desk was not helpful and did not explain that the wine would be checked out separately after his regular grocery. It’s the lack of enthusiasm to help that stands out that was noticed on this trip to Ralph’s. Better luck at Vons next time.

I have bought rib eye steak twice and is very low quality meat, you can’t even cut it with a steak knife, had it from Costco and the standards are very high, the price is cheaper also, know the difference between high quality meat and commercial cheap meat to make money off, there are several grades of meat, the flavor, texture tells it all, there’s a restaurant at del Coronado hotel called Sheerwater I refer to it as (Shitwater) this is the same type of meat they serve there, 2 dollar steak

has the worst customer service among all Ralph store specially the night shift employees and the night manager has no dignity, ruthless, unprofessional and lack of customer service. they are rude and unfriendly they should be fired or teach them manners before customer service.

Love this grocery store. Wait in line is always at a minimum and when I order online the employees are always kind and place my groceries in my trunk.

Outstanding service and quality brands with an array of plant-based options. The employees at this location make transactions like using coupons or exchanging/returning items simple and easy. I am always thanked for my business. This is my preferred grocery store because of the consistent, positive experience!

Overall, well setup store with easy to follow signs and directions for all items in the store. It is clean with wide aisles for easy maneuvering. Payment process was a bit slow, but staff were helpful. Parking is a bit tight, but store is located in a central location in the neighborhood. Prices are decent and comparable to other nearby markets. Will likely be returning.

This store is usually clean and most of the employees are polite but this is the second time I have a bad experience with a lady named Cheryl who seems upset when I ask her to ring me up. The first time after some back and forth she rang me up and threw some of my groceries damaging and egg (no big deal but I didn’t appreciate the attitude). This time around she refused to ring me up all together and also refused to call someone else to help, eventually a nice lady named Jackie came by and rang me up she was very polite. The customer check out is a great thing to have for a couple of items but customers should not be forced to charge themselves for groceries, at that point you might as well clock us in to work too. Over all most employees are nice but it is kind of bothersome to have to haggle with the employees just to get rung up

They have teenagers choosing produce and bagging groceries without any training it seems. I tip these kids every time then get home to more smooshed food and total disregard to the notes attached to my pick up order. Training makes a difference in the quality of work. Would have just spoken with a manager, but called twice and no answer. There are a few really great employees here, so shopping in the store isn't so bad, but I do agree with another customer who said the self check out shouldn't replace available cashiers.

I used to love going to this Ralphs because of the wonderful staff. They made going to the grocery store a pleasure, rather than just a chore. However, this Ralphs location has insisted on funneling everyone to the self-check out counters and very rarely have more than one staffed check out line. The result is long lines. This is a huge pet peeve of mine. Why should I, the customer, have to scan and bag my own groceries? I didn't used to mind going to the grocery store and paying higher prices at this Ralphs because the interaction with the staff was a pleasure. It's just not worth it now.

Juices packed too tight and one fell from height onto my wife’s foot. She needed help getting up and was limping. She told store employee (possibly manager) who told her “I will tell the. To be more careful next time.” Did not ask how she was, offer to help, or have her fill out an accident card(which is what the law requires). I called and they could not even find a manager or assistant manager. That says it all.

Was at this Ralphs yesterday and Jaqueline (sp?) went out of her way to help me in the pastry section. In my opinion she went above and beyond : She stopped what she was doing (stocking donuts I believe) and answered several questions about the cakes offered. She was friendly, professional, and quick. She also hurried to the back to retrieve something I requested. She has a wonderful attitude and demeanor. I was in a hurry and was thanking my lucky stars that she was working there that day. Thank you, Jaqueline!

I hate posting bad reviews but I won't shop at this Ralph's anymore..line was ong only one line open and a bunch of employees just standing around talking..several people asked for another line to open..when they did cashier Jackie was rude...didn't greet you..didn't thank u...basically through the receipt at us..I said something to the mgr. on duty and she was not any better... We have a choice where to spend our hard earned money and my money won't go here..this was a Monday night at 8:00 pm... Im forced to give this. A star to post other wise it would be a zero for me... I do like Ralph's just won't visit this one again!

Easy shopping. Great selection and always stocked (barring the apocalyptic shopping experiences everywhere that was COVID). Competitive pricing and fresh produce.

I usually like Ralph's but the prices are way to high on some items. I bought a salt and pepper grinder set, each we're 6.99 but they chargerd me for 2 pepper grinders! How do I prove I didn't buy 2 only had to pay for 2? While looking at my reciept I noticed I paid 6.99 for a gallon of white vinegar. I want to return it but can't find my receipt. A gallon of vinigar should not be over 3.00 no matter where you buy it. The total on my bill was like 160.00 for 2 bags of items. I felt like I was robbed. Why such high prices Ralph's? Vons and Albertsons are no better. I hate Walmart. Food 4 less is usually so busy and hard to find one near by. Retired people or other people on a fixed income can't afford to buy food. That's not a very friendly way to be. Only the rich can enjoy the pleasures of shopping there. I'd like to have the extra pepper grinder I was charged for. As the cashier was ringing my items up she said, "oh I just love these grinders!". That had to be when she just gave an extra swipe of the barcode leaving me to pay for and extra pepper grinder that wasn't in my bag. Multi tasking not her friend. Focus on what your doing and try to let us consumers not be robbed cause we want to buy some food.
