I am a first time patient. From the moment I walked into the office I was greeted by the front receptionist who was very welcoming, and helpful with my paper work. I was then called to the back by Angelica who did my accesment. She was also very welcoming, helpful, and kind. After I was done with Angelica I then was seen by DR. S who answered all of my questions and concerns. I just moved to San Diego and I felt like I was back home. This is a wonderful office.

The doctor's assistant as well as the administration team are wonderful! Warm and welcoming, professional and knowledgeable, kind and patience. Dr. Martin has been my family doctor for decades now, we just love him, he is trustworthy and a true humanitarian.

They are absolutely the best retina eye doctors in the San Diego area. I've been going to them for almost 20 years now. They saved my eyesight in both eyes. Eyesight is precious. So only go to the best. The staff and the doctors are so nice and skillful. There is no better place to go for retinal eye care in the San Diego area.

Most of the time when I have a procedure done my blood pressure is very high. Not today the 23rd of June. All the staff that took care of me were so professional and kind and caring. They made me feel so comfortable and at ease. A great experience. From the nurses that checked me in to the surgery and recovery. Everyone made my time there a good experience. Thank you.

I really liked all the staff I came in contact with, and they’re able to do pretty much any tests and procedures you need done at one location. They have a large range of Doctors and Specialists and seem to be able to handle a volume of patients quickly and professionally. I’d highly recommend them!

All the personnel of Dr Goldman from the receptionists to the lead Nurse Brenda are very knowledgeable of their job assignment one can not help but to be impressed of Dr Goldman's office. Dr Goldman also is a very much of a gentleman and scholar of his field that his patients are all awed of his kindness and manners. As always I had a great experience with the staff including the doctor who did the procedure for my eyes, and the nurses that were not only very friendly, but were overall great to deal with. Truly a nice overall experience.

My experience with Dr. Patrick Sassani of the California Retina Association Clinic was pleasant, pleasant and above all with a professional experience to treat patients with vision problems and especially with patients with diabetes. We are over the top pleased with personal care that my Dad received during his first visit at their Chula Vista location. We were immediately greeted by several staff members when we walked through the door. Within minutes we were given the necessary forms to complete and then ushered in the door to begin my Dad's assessment. I was invited to join him because, well he is 94 and uses a walker. Every step of his evaluation was extremely professional and handled with the upmost care. We were both impressed by the attention paid to both detail and kindness shown by each of the team members. We were blessed to have Claudia inform and assure us of every step taken during our time at the center. We would highly recommend this location, in fact we already have!

They are very kind and answer all my questions. I can see now and I'm greatful to all the staff and doctor for making my visits there comforting.

Everyone working there seems to know what they are doing. Very friendly and they take the time to explain any questions you have. They all work well together making it faster to get you out quickly.. The people here are wonderful. Originally had a problem with my insurance and Norma my case handler found away to work around it and I got my cataract surgery. I had Dr. Sara Khandam whom explained everything before, after and during the surgery. She really did help ease my anxiety during the surgery and thankfully I now can see again!

Great place if looking for eye doctor. Love my eye Dr. Sassani. Staff is friendly and nice. No problems. I didn’t like Castillo Institute so I’m glad I found this place.

Today was my first appointment with them and it was such a great experience. I’ve been to other clinics and they are not as welcoming as this healthcare setting. They seem to really care about patients.

Dr.s and staff work together well.. always polite and professional. And surprisingly quick for the number of patients they serve at a time.

I went in for my yearly eye examen as a new customer and everything from the first call to make appointment was awesome, i was able to be seen same day and everything took about 1.5 hrs, The assistant were kind and thorough. Doctor answered all my questions and listened to all of my symptoms since i was referred by my primary due to HBP. Everything came out good and i was immediately scheduled for my next yearly exam.

Yes the clinic was very thorough check them got called in no more than no more than 10 or 15 minutes they were busy but everything was what's good I liked it and professional doctor was very concerned only because of my concerns and will keep a close eye attention to any different changes due to my age

This place was God sent!!! NEEDED same day appointment and the staff was WONDERFUL at making it happen. The doctor was compassionate and knowledgeable (valuable skill) as most SD doctors have TITLE but lack the knowledge and experience. If you’re in need of eye care this is the place!!

I'm very happy with my experience at California Retina Association, Dr. Skaf, and the rest of the staff were so friendly and helpful. From the minute you walk into their office for exam, to exam room and their surgery facility, every person you meet will try to make your visit comfortable. I was very anxious before the My Surgery, and me fearing needles; nurses at OR got so distracted that did not realize when they put the IV in my arm. All of them did an amazing job making me feel comfortable before and during. I had heard a lot about Dr. Skaf and his expertise in Cataract Surgery, that is why I traveled over 3000 miles from Ohio to have him do the surgery, not only I am happy with my surgery, I am excited, I am blown away I can see, read, and drive without glasses and I'm still healing but already seeing the results and so excited to see the outcome. I would highly recommend California Retina Association Specifically Dr. Skaf

Dr. Martin Rajsbaum is extremely knowledgeable and willing to spend the needed time with the patient to explain the diagnosis and the treatment to follow. I highly recommend Dr. Rajsbaum for his professionalism and kindness.

They take a long time, it's 3:30, my appointment was at 2:00pm and they tell me that there are still 7 patients in front of me. The same thing when I brought my father, he was there for 3 hours!!!
