Im here because of the social media controversy.. alot of complaints but heres mine... Below is what I spend on comics weekly. & this is not even my cash spending at LCSs.. why am I posting this? I used to spend ALL this money at Comics N Stuff.. they would get all of it! $100-300 weekly! But after what I read this week im glad I shook them last year! I've purchased $60+ variants from them only to get home & it was damaged in the back real bad. Whoever bagged it knew it & still sold as is. Bad biz ethics. That was just the beginning. The inconsistency from shop to shop. From prices to attitude. Making rules up on the spot. They would always regulate me but my GF would come back later & they never ever limit her or give her attitude... claiming you're a flipper or scalper when I havent sold a comic in over a year! I simply collect & love to hoard comics. That there pre-judging customers.. business prejudism! There are many online places.. unknowncomicbooks.com where you.. 1) save 25% off, 2) free shipping 3) NO tax! 4) bagged & boarded NM! The 25% off and no tax is basically 35% off & delivered to your door w bag & board. Better condition then when they hit these shelves.. Or support local San Diegan KRS comics has 25% too! Save that $5 gallon gas & dont support bad business practices. If you go local.. Yesteryear offers 25% off no membership.. or TC rockets 20% off.. just pull 1 book. The employees are unmatched willing to help with no bad attitudes. I havent stepped in these stores since Summer 2021.. me & my buddies have avoided these stores for over a year now! best financial decision ever!

Bought some pokemon cards .when i got home I opened them. they were so hard to open then once open i see and realized that they were re glued .I was wondering why i got not one good card and they kept repeating.totally got ripped off .next time ill check for glue .just dont buy cards here unless its an unopened box .dont get booster packs or a tin

Bought an item there that uses batteries. The batteries are in the item but they are dead. The place refuses to take care of the issue. They told my son to 'get new batteries at Walmart'. Rude rude rude. I won't purchase things there ever!

It’s actually located on the second level not the first, but they have an elevator. The two employees were so helpful and so nice they were very patient with my son getting Pokémon cards. I really like the selection of items here. They had a good mix of toys lanyards cards and accessories!

Neat little shop to fulfill all your nerd needs! Just wish they would have more video game type stuff but other than that it's great!

I use to be my favorite comics n stu ,ff location, until today. My wife noticed that one of the employees was following my boys around the store. He basically walked down every isle behind them. My wife purposely had them move to another isle to see what the worker would do. Definitely called him out on it. Not sure if I'll spend my money there again

HOSTILE ENVIRONMENT! Used to spend hundreds here for years too.. but like the negative comments below.. decided to go FOC for 2022. This franchise made me look at other options. 25% off.. No tax no shipping . And you support better business. KRS comics is local too & 10x more understanding.. Not cool how they treat regulars. You would think they want your business but it's completely opposite. & I thought it was just me but speaking w others it seems like a pattern. You want your hobby to give you joy.. but this place just ruins your day. They're always trying to argue. Make up new rules. Inconsistent pricing from store to store & get mad at you when you point it out. They just DRAIN your positive day! They never smile & cant wait to go home attitude. They want the casual POP impulse buyer. NOT collectors. They Judge collectors & worry about what u do w your purchases. Labeling you scalper or reseller when little do they know.. they're PREJUDICE. Yup.. they prejudge you. Really Hostile environment when it should be completely opposite when buying Non Necessity items during a pandemic or Recession. So yeah.. Spend your EXTRA HOBBY money elsewhere where they treat you with respect. The picture is what I would have spent w them weekly in 2021.. NEVER again. They dont deserve your business.. Great prices, always have what I am looking for. Customer service is excellent as I always get greeted when I walk in. They are very knowledgeable about their stuff. I highly recommend coming to this location.

This is the original comics and stuff for me. It even has the same guy that worked the original comics and stuff in chula vista. Love the energy very friendly. This location has a little bit of everything...action figures, collectibles, trading cards, heroclix, and of course comics. The only comics n stuff better than this one is the el Cajon one.

Don't expect much prices are abit higher but really there's only pokemon cards figures manga comics

Very knowledgeable staff. They are quick to get you what you need. Only con, is if you have a file with them to have new releases placed aside for you. You might not always get what you are waiting for. Especially sought out for comics. Some how they never have enough to fill all files.

It's a decent store but when I saw the lanyards they're $10 and looks like it was bought at aliexpress and some figures are pricey than the others I think it's best to look around and the mangas are in a transparent book cover which is great! I only buy mangas there if there's one that I want it

Pretty much the only store I go to at every single mall. Great selection. Wish they had more One Piece but hey, thats just me man.

One of the few comic shops in San Diego still. All comics pre bagged to protect. Large selection of novelty toys and gifts accessories. Knowledgeable crew familiar with the stories to help locate back issues and memorabilia.

My daughters and I stopped by coincidence on free comic book day. They were super stoked of getting additional comics for free;after buying their comic books of choice.it was a great experience. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful too. Thank you.👍😊

This little off the track shop has a great knowledgeable Staff and their Magic Cards are fair priced but most importantly- not weighed or repackaged reseals or counterfeit like you can get from big box stores. They also have treasure hunting from time to time with their delightful MTG offerings.. they consistently carry all the standard staples but occasionally you’ll find random throwback surprises such as a pack or two of Amokhet, Ixalan, Dark Ascension, and Hour of Devastation (to name the most recent ). Other than that the store is clean neat tidy But they’re extremely cool staff is really what sets this place apart.
