Horrible I’ve gotten waxed before at a different place and I’ve never gotten it done so bad the girl was nice but left so many hairs everywhere!! Not worth the money might as well not have gotten it

I go to Terra Nova EWC in Chula Vista, CA. My wax girl and the front desk ladies are more than just that, they support and empower and listen to their clients. Today, my girl listened to me talk about losing my Papa and she just gave me so much love and support. The front desk team without knowing made me feel better too by telling me I was looking EXTRA good and they love my hair down. We need more people like them in the world. HIGHLY RECOMMEND them.

Not too happy with the Brazilian wax I got on Friday. Seems like they are in a huge rush to wax and did a half a$$ed job. They only removed 70 percent of the hair down there and didn’t even tweeze the ones they “couldn’t remove.” They are huge at pushing their products after you tell them no thank you a couple times and finally have to say, “okay I’ll take one product... can I leave now??” I definitely will not be coming back for a follow up with this company!!!

The staff are always very pleasant when I’m there. I visited religiously while I was pregnant (pre-COVID), and they took very good care of me. I took a break from waxing and recently returned for a session. It was just as amazing as I experienced it before COVID. Great job ladies!

I have gone to many wax places in San Diego/ Chula Vista and i can honestly say that EWC Terra Nova has been the best experience for a Brazilian wax. I mean waxing in general is not the most comfortable experience especially for a Brazilian but these ladies are so professional and they really make the experience less painful and they are super fast which helps so you don't really have time to think of the pain lol. Everything is always so clean from the bathrooms, to the rooms, to the waiting area. I have had Allie and Allison and they are both great! I bought a membership there because i will definitely come back! Front desk is also really nice! 100% recommend!

Michelle always does a 99.9-100% perfect job!! Very clean and friendly place, especially the bathroom. I have never had anybody touch my eyebrows before except for me and they did a PERFECT job, I had Michelle. She was very patient and walk you through everything if you've never had a wax before. They don't push you to buy anything else and they assist you with discounts if there are any. Will go again! I got some one else other than Michelle once but she didn't do a very good job. No trimming little wax, no asking how it was in the mirror and had a little bit of a rush feeling to her. I now always get Michelle :)

They have private rooms to perform their service. I like the privacy where other clients aren't watching and listening to your conversation. Never been waxed and first time to get whole face waxed. Tech did a good job. 1st step, cleanse face 2nd step, apply barrier between face & wax 3rd step, apply wax and pull off hair!! 4th step, apply serum 5th step, look at your face in the mirror Wow! It felt like scotch tape was put on my face and then pulled off. Didn't hurt at all!! The wax was actually soothing and has aloe and chamomile in it. Reasonable pricing. Refer a friend get $10 of on next service or product. Nice. Will come here again.

The cleanliness of the facility was great. The staff was very friendly. The waxing itself was more painful than had previously experienced at another location and the the aftermath of the waxing was not as expected. There was still wax present when I went home, with hair under it, so I had to remove the hair myself. I would give 5 stars for the friendliness and cleanliness of the facility but dropped to 2 for having to remove hair myself.

I’ve been going to Olivia for over a year. She does amazing! I feel so comfortable with her and always look forward to my monthly waxes with her. She always answers any questions I have and makes the wax as painless as possible. She’s the absolute best!

I have never had a bad experience here but I absolutely Loved this one experience with Taylor/Barbie she was very personable and we were instantly chatty! I hadn’t been in a long time so she totally adapted to that, she used smaller strips and I almost didn’t feel anything. Definitely requesting Taylor on my next visit.

Olivia is awesome. She makes me feel so comfortable in a vary uncomfortable situation. Like an old friend. I’ve been waxing for many years. Her waxing technique is awesome my hair isn’t growing back as quick and when it does it’s not itchy. And no ingrown hairs. She would make an awesome instructor. Thank you Olivia

I’ve been going here for about two years now and I’ve never had a bad experience. I travel a lot and have gone to many different locations (which makes the membership super nice to have) but when I’m home I always see Tiffany and she’s still the best aesthetician I’ve ever gone to. Super fast, almost painless, no ingrown hairs and always has something interesting to talk about. 10/10 would recommend

I have been a customer here for years. Tiffany is basically my bff, she is incredible. To the point she even does my daughter’s brows. I have also had the opportunity to get services from other ladies in the shop, so I can honestly say that they are all friendly and helpful. Whether you buy a pass or go wax by wax, they treat you the same way. Trust me I know. I have done both. I have been using their services since 2009, and will continue until they decide to move.

My wax specialist was Barbie…honestly she was the best wax specialist I have ever encountered at European Wax Center. I’ve been waxing for about 4 years now, and it was the most pain free and efficient wax experience I have ever had. Such good technique and great communication throughout the whole appointment. I 100% recommend Barbie to anyone and everyone for the best experience ever.

I’ve been going here for two years and always have a great experience! The front desk employees are cheerful, responsive, and helpful whenever I need to reschedule. It’s also very easy to use their online scheduling services. They always take me on time or even early and my underarm appointments last maybe 10-15 minutes tops. I’ve most recently seen Kat, Erin, and Barbie and all three have been fantastic. Very attentive, make sure the job is thorough, and offer advice on exfoliating techniques and such to make sure my skin does not become irritated. I always have great convos, it’s honestly a little treat to get to come chat and have girl time!

Erin always does an amazing job. She is thoughtful and knowledgeable. She has helped me improve my skin care regimen and keeps my skin glowing.

The staff are always friendly and helpful. Tiffany is the best! The experience is always wonderful because she accomplishes the task with gentleness and swiftness. She’s easy to talk to which helps pass the time. She’s personable and funny.

I’ve been going to this location for a while now. I didn’t used to have a preference on who to see, but Erin is now my go-to! She is so personable and down to earth, which is important for the services I get. She always explains the products super well and sold me my new favorite EWC product! Overall, I definitely recommend this location for it’s ample parking, the best front desk staff, and I totally recommend Erin for anyone trying this place for the first time, or anyone looking for a permanent esthetician.

Bico was super professional and quick! She kept me comfortable and is hilarious too. She did my eyebrows and was patient with me. I’m a man, but I’m sensitive around that area. She gave me a little time to recover when I winced in pain. I’d definitely schedule her again.

Ask for Kat she is amazing! If you’re looking for a great wax (everything off!) a clean place with great customer service and great products come here. It’s worth every penny. From the ladies in the front desk to all the knowledge I gained through my first visit, not to mention if you’re a first time customer you get a great discount, it was great! Celine did amazing! My eyebrows look so good! I came in with my eyebrows not done in a while and the last person at another place had made my eyebrows uneven but Celine fixed them and I am so happy with my results! Definitely coming back to her for future services. :)

Miracle is hands-down, the best specialist Ive gone to! She was so thorough and took her time. I went to her for a Brazilian and I don’t think I’ll ever go to anyone else again! If you have a lot of hair and always left with some hair, you’ll definitely want to go to her because she makes sure she gets everything!! Definitely worth the money this time.

My face is still broke out in hives a day later… which is why I ONLY wanted certain parts of it waxed!! But far be it from me to know what my own body can and cannot handle.

Born & raised in SD, I have tried many different wax places & this center tops them all. They are the best wax center I have ever gone to. Both front desk & the wax girls are so professional & nice, that I purchased a one year of unlimited underarm waxing. Loving it! They are clean, never double dip & their products are amazing! Every product I have bought of theirs has not let me down. I recommend this place to anyone who likes to feel like a princess without killing the wallet.
