Absolutely wonderful customer service when I go here, definitely a great experience. This is a great place to go, but even better if you find yourself staying at the La Quinta Inn next door.

This place is a great spot for a late-night meal! My server was excellent, I asked her to keep the sofa combo and she delivered! I also ordered a medium steak and when it came we both agreed it was very rare. They made me a new one and this time it was much better! Thank you

Been going there for breakfast as soon as I walk in the host would greet me, welcome to Denny’s. I think her name is Gloria. She a nice host that knows her job and always greet with a smile. That why I like to go there to eat.

Came in the early evening and it wasn’t full at all. The waitress was attentive and the food was good. Just like the pictures. The menu seemed to get smaller but the basics are there. I got the All American breakfast ($12.95) and I thought it would come with pancakes but it doesn’t. My daughter got the grand slam jr and it was good and around $4-5. The picture is of the two dishes mine on the left and hers on the right. I stole on of her little pancakes and that is why you see it on my plate. Overall it was very clean and classic Denny’s. Not a 5 star but a great diner!

Do not order online. The food was undercooked and the potatoes were not seasoned and it was a very little portion. We ordered French toast slap and payed for strawberry, bananas and we didn’t receive them. Soggy French toast and soggy and wet eggs . Just gross

I sometimes think Dennys is the Karen’s dinner of the US. Kids hitting people who pass by, hostess rolling eyes 🙄, waiter forgetting what was asked for and continuing to bring erroneous items despite clarification, food prepared without care, and burn potato fries. On top of that, expensive as duck.

Pleasure being there for my dining experience was awesome and the food was good too it was a great experience dealing with the servers I was seated in okay timing we didn’t wait long at all.

First time in California and found this place and let me tell you best place every everyone was so nice and friendly the didn’t take but 10-15 minutes it came out so warm and fresh I was really happy with my experience there and can’t wait to go again

I have a big family so I'm going to cut them a little slack. I deduct points for them bringing out the food all together, only because my sandwich was cold when it was supposed to be hot. The food was standard. I like Dennys. I dont like it when my food is cold. I get that it was nice because you dont want 1 person eating when everyone else isn't but I feel like maybe they shouldve asked? Also the kids were super hungry, and they take forever to eat, so at the very least, they shouldve brought out the kids' food. Anyway, i dont know if I'll be back to this specific location, but I'll definitely be back to Dennys in the future.

Honestly this location has been lacking the last couple times they've been here. If you like cold bacon and cold sausage you're going to love this one... The servers are always pretty nice, but when you go to pay your bill the girl that takes your money has been less than pleasant.

Our waiter was such a joy, always coming back to ask if we need it anything, while being the only server during today's morning shift.

Wonderful server! But it took an hour to get our 2 meals. The family next to us let there kid watch their notepad with the volume super loud while their other child yelled for that hour. Way too crowded on a Sunday- will never return. Decent location but too short staffed.

Food was above average, but not great. No atmosphere to speak of,though it was clean. The service was good, but not great-- there were only 2 other customers, but my food still sat under the warmers while my waitress cleaned an already clean, empty table. 🙋

This location is incredible! My husband and I are visiting CA for our anniversary and had the pleasure of having Blanca wait on us twice. She is beautiful, kind and it was an honor to meet her! Even though they were ridiculous busy, the staff handled it with poise and professionalism.

The service was outstanding! The food was hot, fresh, and tasty. My server, Esmeralda was amazing, super friendly, courteous, attentive, and very efficient. This Denny's, without a doubt, is one of the best Denny's in the San Diego area. Staff are friendly, the dining room is clean, and the atmosphere is vibrant. It is always a pleasure to eat there.

We had very friendly, polite and pleasant servers both times we visited this Denny's, and the food was hot, delicious and ready quickly. Overall a great atmosphere and experience! 😀

They stopped serving pancakes with omelets. That's fine but did not lower prices. And want to charge you $3.00 for a stack of pancakes. Sorrie going to take my business to I Hop. See you dennys

Oh man! The best super bird was here! Perfectly cooked and seasoned. I’ve had super birds all over the place where dennys are at and this one is the best. Ranch was classic too. Really surprised and happy with this place! Waitress was super nice and attentive too.

Skye the waitress was very helpful, and swung around a lot to make sure our needs were met. Food was great, got full off a Nacho Appetizer. Social distancing, proper guidelines :) 5/5

Horrible experience, starting with the 30 mins the kitchen took to get our food; the mashed potatoes puree was spoiled, and everytime our server got us coffee, it was cold. Usually I don't complain, but this time was like they were doing it on purpose.

Place was slow at 10am it still took them 20mins to even take a drink order. Food came out 45mins later and not all at the same time. Not sure if it's a new staff, I've been here before and never had issues today of all days my birthday breakfast they have low performance.

Denny's is always a good idea after dancing all evening long. You know what you're getting, it's fast and Affordable. I love using my AARP card to get a huge 15% discount. There's is plenty of parking and the parking area is well illuminated.

The worst experience ever. Not recommend. Firstly, the bathrooms doesn't have toilet paper and are super gross. You tell the staff their no paper and they ignore you. Secondly, they served you what they want instead of what you order. I have to return my order two times and the waiting was even worse. For me here is a No No, they are better Denny's around.

If I can't make up my mind about where I want to eat hopefully there is either a Denny's, IHOP, Norm's, Olive Garden, Panda Express, Carl's Jr or McDonald's nearby. I can usually count on either of these restaurant chains for a decent meal whenever I am traveling for business. The food was good, but I was pressed for time traveling by car between multiple locations, so did not have time to enjoy eating, it was just a need for nourishment only.

It took a very long time to get our food. About 30 min later the server apologized and said it would be next, but still took approx 15 more min. Denny's usually has there orders out quickly.... don't know what happened.

Our last 3 visits have had mediocre or poor service and/or the desired food has run out (early!). I realize there is a staffing shortage, but the servers are struggling to keep up with guests. Possible short term solution: Limiting the number of people seated and not over taxing your servers & staff until your diner is stable.

Stop in for breakfast before heading to the Del Mar Fair. Esmeralda was a great waitress. There was eight of us and she had a lot of patients with our kids when taking their order. I also appreciated that she kept checking in on us if we needed anything. Service was excellent and the food was delicious.

This is 100% much better Denny's than the one in National City, I drove all the way here from the other because of their horrible service. The staff here is very pleasant and the service was great. Even though this place is further than the other one from my home, I will drive here from now on. The food was just like I ordered it, I asked for crispy hash brown and they came out exactly how I love them. ❤️

Standard but reliable Denny's fare at a convenient location just off the E Street off ramp on 805. Can get a bit crowded at lunch. Friendly service.

This location is horrible. I went for some breakfast around 11am and I did not receive my food until 1215pm! This is ridiculous! The cookers don't even know how to read the screen of which food is suppose to be cooked first. I was not the only one waiting for more than an hour. There was people that arrived after us and they were served first. Even my food was cold! My mozarella sticks were cold, the cheese wouldn't even stretch of how cold they were. I had to ask for water 4 times so they can bring it and coffee.. all bc the servers had to be so focused in hurrying the cookers because Everyone was waiting for their food. And worst they had 3 cookers! I honestly didn't even feel like paying.. I REALLY HOPE THE OWNER SEES THIS, BC I WILL NOT BE COMING BACK HERE EVER! they should have given everyone a 20 percent off discount off their meals for making us wait so much time!

It's exactly what you would expect. They didn't overcook my hash browns like another location did so I was pretty happy. I will definitely come back again for late night diner food.

After 2000+ (and counting!) late night food delivery trips in the greater San Diego area, my opinion is that this Denny’s is the best around. Not only for food delivery, but as a customer, I love coming here! The atmosphere is welcoming, professional, and consistently so, night after night. The food is hot and flavorful, and the waitstaff even moreso. Shout out to night crew Victor & Jazmine, who go about business with a practiced efficiency and capable calm. Love this place, always will!

Hats off to Denny's, America's Restaurant. It was a 40 minute wait on this Veteran's Day. Many vets, wearing service T-shirts & hats, were here for their FREE breakfast, a long-held tradition at Denny's of honoring Veterans. Two eggs, sausage, bacon & pancakes; like a warm hug from America! Thank you Denny's! Military & Sr discounts daily! New omelette & drink choices.
