Oppn B Next Building Tharavaad It's Alhamddullillah Okke Single Mood that's fine

We had purchased Malayalam tea here. Recommendations for tea were good by the shop. We also purchased coconut oil and local snacks for eating. The place is neat and on the way from kalpetta to sulta bathery. Varieties are much lesser than other shops and we realized after seeing few shops at sultan bathery only.

Not Ideal for a 2+ Family Let me share my whole experience that took place in this homestay : PROS ------------ 1. Big Bathroom The bathroom is very large, like a cricket pitch. 2. Family Bed CONS ------------- 1. The place wasn't clean. Even though we had booked their place before a 2 or 3 weeks, when we got into that room, the plates and glasses weren't washed properly, the sink was dirty, and the walls and curtains were surrounded by spider webs. (Attaching images) . They've provided an additional outdoor bathroom for us. But that bathroom was in a disgusting stage in which we couldn't even use it for any basic needs. On the ground, we have seen too many beer bottles, which means they're not cleaning wastes properly at the time. 2. Irresponsible Staff: The staff were not responsible at all. (i)We reached the homestay at 2 pm. We were so hungry that we asked them to provide food for us. After 30 minutes of waiting, when we went to the nearest hotel, they were eating food without updating anything to us. (ii)When we asked them to provide coffee powder and sugar, they gave the balance portion of their used things. (Attaching images) 3. Slow pipe on bathroom and small tank – this was one of the main problem that will affect most of the guests in this homestay. If you require a bucket of water, you will need to turn on the pipe before 1 hr. As the tank is very small and no automatic pumping systems are there, you will again be saddened by the slow response from the staff.

Nice Room, beautifull experience

Would not recommend as their service is very bad. We have to call them every morning to get water as overhead tank will be empty and most of the mornings phone will be off. No cleaning of rooms or kitchen. Promised kitchen items were not provided.

I will not recommend this homestay at all. For the entire span of our stay, we were not provided induction and appropriate cutlery(as promised) for cooking noodles despite reminding the staff again and again. The room was also highly unsanitary, the bed sheets , pillows were dirty. Also, the extra mattresses were very small and not at all comfortable for anyone. Also, the staff were highly irresponsible, never picked calls and were unavailable most of the time . This was overall a unsatisfactory and unpleasant experience. Skip this one.

This is truly an amazing place to stay,the host rashid was very cooperative and helpfull. The rooms were very spacious and neat.
